About this episode
This week we discuss some recent results including Brownlee and Lawrence's performances at Dubai 70.3 as well as Geelong 70.3, Challenge Wanaka and Husky Long Course. Macca talks about the 40 years of Kona history and some of his most memorable moments. We then discuss the biggest changes he noticed throughout his career and afterwards including some changes in technology he thought were ridiculous that turned out to be game changers and some funny stories about how to dress like a cyclist to impress your cyclist friends. We discuss if there is still a place for long course triathlon in the future now that the Olympics are going shorter and answer a MaccaX member, Henning Von Poser's question about where the sport will be in 10 years.
Plenty of laughs this time as Chris accepts just how old he is and how long he has been involved in the sport! He also discusses the changes in triathlon fashion since he first started out.
