44. Compassionate Conversations: Engaging Dialogues with Those Facing Death | Della Roberts

Della is a woman, daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. A Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialist in palliative care, Della's had the privilege of caring for people with serious illness, those dying and their families for the past 30 years. She has contributed to systems of palliative care as an expert clinician, educator, and researcher. Della continues to work and teach in palliative care and is a family caregiver for her sister living with dementia and a caregiving support for her 92-year-old father and his wife. Living fully each day and being in service forms the rhythm of Della's life.
