What happens when an anniversary trip leads to finding 40 acres of land to create a Blackety Black homestead? Find out in the Season Finale of Black in the Garden with Matthew, founder of Black Haven Ranch.  It all started on the South Side of Chicago when a community organizer and activist who happens to be a minister decided to embark on a mission to provide a safe space for his people. Finding a brown face on Homestead Rescue (Chantel Johnson) lead to starting an urban farm with big aspirations to  cultivate a Black Haven in the Ozarks of Missouri!
