On this day I'm working class history, the 4th of September. On the 4th of September, 1936, employees walked off the job at the Trocadero Grill in Vancouver, Canada, demanding a wage increase. Bossed his hired scabs to replace the strike workers, but customers supported the strike with a boycott. So one week, management agreed to the strike as demands, but only 4 of the strikeers were rehired. These 4 would subsequently organise the other new workers into the union.
