Good morning Ecclesia. Welcome to day 79. The 365 daily devotions are journey through the Bible. And what you can see here, I'm actually in one of the beautiful gardens here in Shikoku, one of the parks and just over here there's some blossoms coming out along the little river. This river actually used to be the moat for the the original castle. It's a beautiful spot to walk around of a morning. It was quite a few people out this morning because the sun's out and it's warmer. Today we're going to talk about Joseph prepares for famine. Joseph was always prepared. He was getting ready. We need to be getting ready because the famine is coming and after that Jesus is coming back. The Genesis is the scripture we're still in. The book we're still in. It's Genesis 41 to 49 which we're reading today. Sorry, Genesis 41, 49. Let me read it. Joseph stored up green in great abundance like the sand of the sea until he stopped measuring it. He had so much grain here to stop measuring it for it was beyond measure. Wow,
you imagine that. Now Australia where I'm from is a land that grows grain. I don't think we could have had that much grain. God calls us to wise stewardship. Preparation honors him and protects these people. How are you stewating everything that God's given you? Whether it's a lot or a little. Too many Christians they want more more more more but they're not stewating the little bit that they have already and we need to be willing to do that. We need to stew it. Those little things first. Let's pray. Father teaches to manage wisely and prepare for the future according to your guidance. Help us be ready to help those in need. Help us be ready to provide for our families. Help us be ready Lord for your return. Let us be like the the wise virgins and not the foolish virgins. Let
us be ever ready and it's in Jesus name that we pray and everyone said amen. Amen. What a blessing it is to serve the Lord but do we actually see it as a blessing? Are we treating it as the privilege that it is or are we just going through the motions? Let me encourage you Ecclesia today share the gospel with someone. If you've indeed been reading your Bible for the last 79 days you're learning something. You're studying it and it's time to start sharing what you've learned. The great commission is really simple. Go forth and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit and teaching them everything that I have taught you. That's actually a commandment for us. Teaching them is discipling them so don't just share the gospel to someone. Disciple them as well. We should all be Paul to somebody and we should all be a Timothy to somebody as well. I want to encourage you
share the gospel today and until tomorrow stay in the blessings.
