Good morning, Ecclesia. Welcome to day 65 of 365 Daily Devotions, a journey through the Bible. Are you enjoying them? If you are, let me know. Send us a message. Like the devotion on whichever platform you're watching or listening on. Share it with a friend. Let us see that you're enjoying it. Today we're going to talk about God's favor on Jacob. And as you look at this, you might see a little bit of God's favor on yourself. The scripture we're looking at is Genesis 31-9. It says, in God, it blessed Laban for Jacob's sake. And the possessions of Laban increased greatly. Jacob had good fruit, didn't he? Just as we're all called to as well. God multiplies the efforts of those who honor him. His favor brings increase and blessing.
It doesn't bring heartache and pain. It doesn't bring heartache. It brings blessings. I love doing these videos out in public. There's always someone like the delivery guy or the postman or the old lady that's walking the dog. He wants to say hello. He wants to know what the white people are doing, wondering around the city with a camera. Clearly not a tourist. We live here. Let's pray. Father, help me honor. Help us honor you in every work. So that your favor rests upon everything we do. Lord, pour it your blessings upon us as we labor for you in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. I've got as a redeemer and he has worked for us. He wants to make his whole spirit, soul and body. But we have to do something in that, don't we?
We have to share the gospel. We have to be diligent with our Bible study time. We have to commit ourselves fully to him. That's my encouragement for you today. Read your Bible, study it. Do everything you can to share the gospel with someone. Because he's coming back soon. Sooner than many people would like. Until tomorrow, stay in the blessings.
