Good morning Ecclesia, welcome to day 63 of 365 daily devotions, journey through the Bible. 63 days, well done, you've done something that many people will never do, so I can graduate you on that. Today we're going to talk about when Jacob works for Rachel. In the scripture we're looking at is Genesis 29, 18 through to 20. Let me read it for you. It says, then Jacob loved Rachel and he said, I will serve you seven years for your younger daughter Rachel. And LeBun said, it is better that I give her to you than to either any other man. Stay with me. So Jacob served seven years for Rachel and they seemed to him, but a few days because of his love for her. Now we know that Jacob sort of got ripped off a little bit along the way, didn't he? But as we look at this true love involved sacrifice and we truly love the Lord.

It involves sacrifice and it involves patience and God blesses diligent and devotion. That's why we do had devotions every day because we are diligent doing them. We're diligent with a Bible study time, but we're also devoted to doing it and devoted to him. So let's pray. Father, help us remain faithful and patient in all my commitments, in all our commitments, whatever they may be. Help us remain patient and faithful to you Lord as we commit our lives to you fully. That's in Jesus' name that we pray. All the believers said, Amen, Amen. We need to be diligent church. We need to be reading our Bible daily. We need to be studying it and we need to be committed to doing it. Make the commitment to do it every day, but also commit to sharing God's word with someone at every opportunity

because he's coming back to Jesus' returning soon. And you don't want to be there when it's too late, thinking I should have shared Jesus with my neighbor. I should have shared Jesus with my parents, my siblings, my friends, but I was too scared. God is a Redeemer. He's redeemed you and me and he wants to redeem everyone. But we have to allow him to make his whole spirit soul and body. Until tomorrow, stay in the blessings.
