Good morning, Ecclesia. Welcome to day 116 of 365 daily devotions. A journey through the Bible. Wow, 116 days. You've done something that many people will never do. They've done a devotion for 116 days, which means they've also been reading their Bible for that time. Well done. Today we're going to talk about God provides water. I'm looking at Exodus 1525. Now I'm going to read from the New King James, but you please read from whichever version you prefer. So he cried out to the Lord and the Lord showed him a tree and when he casted into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There he made for them a statute and an ordinance and there he tested them. We don't like the testing part, do we? But we like the sweet waters. Ecclesia, we need to be ready. The Lord is coming back soon and we are in testing times. We may not be aware of it,
but we should be if we're into assessors, we should be. But if we're not, there's no excuse. We need to be ready. God provides for our needs and it provides them in unexpected ways. You know, those times of trouble and then all of a sudden something happens that we just will never have thought of. That's God. There's a bit more construction going on here. Look at this. That's God. Unexpected ways he provides. He also uses challenges to refine our faith. Too many Christians don't like the challenges, but they're the times when we're refined. Those times when we strived and we strived and we strived and it never worked because we thought God had said something, but it wasn't actually God. It was us. There are the times that he's refining us. He's testing us to see what our faith is really like.
Let's not be afraid of those times. Let's pray. Father, help us trust your provision and help us learn from the tests that you place before us. Lord, maybe you not be fearful of them, but may we be prepared and learn from them. We thank you, Lord, for your goodness. We thank you for the testing times and we thank you that you're returning soon. It's in Jesus' name that we pray this morning. The believer said, Amen. Amen. As I try to do every day, I want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study, because our God is a redeemer. There's nothing that's too hard for me. It can make you whole spirit soul and body if you allow him to be challenged for us as we just need to allow him to, don't we? There's one encouragement. Be diligent. Study your Bible. And most importantly, share the gospel with someone today. Jesus is coming back soon. We're in
the end times. If you're not sure about that, have a look around you. Open the window. You will see it. We are in the end times. He's coming back. And you might say, oh, Pastor Gary, everyone's been saying that for 2,000 years. That means we're just a day closer, doesn't it? So encourage you share the gospel today. But person, you're worried about offending or you think might not like you or whatever when you do it. Don't be worried about that. You're any cold to share the gospel. God will do the rest. And it's in His timing. So until tomorrow, stay in the blessings.
