Cater the leader of the crows and his daughter Carry-Ann have just gotten things back into order. But as all things that are good we know that the bad is coming. Crispin the elder crow slowly makes his way down the path, seems that he has been chased out of his last meadow and needs a place to stay.
Carter allows him to stay with them, but he isn't happy about it. He knows that Carry-Ann should be allowed to hate her grandfather just like he does. It will not take long before Crispin gets ran off from this meadow too.
