Justin Buschardt is an illustrator, musician, photographer, videographer and my favorite bartender of all time, well in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
We met when I used to work at the greatest coffeeshop / plant shop in Brooklyn called Homecoming. We used to shoot the shit, talk about bands, punk bands, Thursday, the band Thursday, on a Thursday, life, photos, his dog, and more importantly, love. Gross.
Justin is in the band called Sharkswimmer. Rips on the guitar.
As a mixed media artist, Justin is an illustrator for WNYC’s Radiolab episodes, designs for the coffee roasters Toby estate, variety, shot photos behind the scenes of my fav band Slowdive at Be Electric studios, and ran round town shooting photos as a day in the life series for Delicate Steve who I used to see all the time in Philly.
