34 A Dynamic Journey of Personal Growth with Steph Tuss
About this episode
In this episode of The Knowing Self, Knowing Others podcast, host Nia Thomas interviews guest Steph Tuss, CEO of Life Is Now, a global consulting firm.
Steph shares her unique journey towards becoming a business and leadership expert. Initially, Steph worked as a public school elementary teacher but soon realised she wanted to make a bigger impact. A significant life event involving her sick child led her to explore alternative therapies and eventually pursue a master's degree in holistic nutrition. This propelled her into starting her own nutrition health practice, which quickly gained success. However, Steph's passion shifted from nutrition to the mindset behind personal choices and the world of entrepreneurship. She sold her business and began working with renowned business coach David Nagel, eventually becoming the CEO of his company.
Throughout Steph's journey, her background in education and teaching played a fundamental role in her ability to communicate, educate, and understand the psychology of her clients. Her experiences in teaching children and dealing with parents translated into her work in nutrition and now into leadership and business growth. Steph's story underscores the importance of following inner desires, being open to opportunities, and using past experiences as stepping stones towards success.
