About this episode

NOTES AND COMMENTARY

PSALMIST IN THE FIELD: Richard Bruxvoort Colligan

SUMMARY: We're back into ordinary time so we get to go back to the Gospel of Luke, and we start with a nice simple story about Jesus exorcising demons, sending them into pigs, who then run off a cliff. There is a reason this episode went over an hour. After the Luke text we move into one of the most beloved passages of Paul's body of work, as he declares that

"There is neither Jew nor Greek; there is neither slave nor free; nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."

Check out the show notes for some work on 1 Kings, and Richard BC has a commentary on Psalm 42.
