About this episode
Dimes and I have a meandering and wide ranging conversation about his notion of “first principles.” The idea is, in any community, if you were to boil things down to the one or two things that bind you together, what would they be? These are your “first principles.” I first came across the idea reading his recent piece over at his own Substack, The Vanguardist Journal.
Note: I am trying something new, uploading the podcast directly as a video in the hopes that it simplifies the uploading process overall. Because I had to split the video and audio to properly process the audio, I don’t think the StreamYard bubbles are perfectly lined up this time. If you like this format, let me know. I should still be available as a downloadable podcast on this app as well as other platforms. If everything goes right, I should go straight to YouTube.
Note: Dimes can be a little earthy with his language. You have been warned.
