David does poorly at college until he meets Janice, who prays with and encourages him. They marry and he goes to seminary at Princeton. After graduation he is ordained as an Army chaplain. He does well through various Army posts, even serving as an airborne chaplain. He witnesses to his brother and dying father, but neither is receptive. David rises in rank, assigned to the Pentagon during 9-11. He becomes Chief of Chaplains and leads his brother to Christ. Now retired.
