301b. (Live Call) I Quit My Job

I guarantee this will be one of the most visited episodes ever. That’s my prediction as of the time stamp above.

 

I quit my job at FedEx (and washing trucks as a byproduct) today. That chapter of my life has closed. FedEx (the job) will hold a special place in my heart forever. It’s gotten me around the country, moved me into new places, and given me financial freedom for my needs. It instilled a lot within me.

 

I did not quit FedEx today, I quit a bad leader. It’s more like 50:50 actually, because I wanted to quit because I think it’s time to double down on- and focus on my own vision. The money will come. But the other half of this is quitting the shitty treatment from the manager. 

 

And if this phone call wasn’t proof of what I’ve been talking about I don’t know what else is. That response is only reinforcing my decision of quitting.

 

When one door closes, another one opens.
