3 Essential Steps to Making a Change

About this episode

In this episode, I share the story of Schwinn, the well-known bicycle company, and its unwillingness to adopt new ideas or make changes, which later led them to bankruptcy.

What can be learned from the downfall of Schwinn? There are 3 lessons we can take away from this, and these can be applied to either business or life.

I believe there are 3 essential steps to making a change:

  • Unwilling vs unable
  • Have a better solution or a better direction to change to
  • You must be able to execute the change

Today's challenge: In both your business and your personal world, think about: Where do you think change is necessary? Are you willing to make the change? Is the change a better solution or direction? Do you have the discipline to make it happen?
