3 - Developing a Minimum Viable Product — with Jade Ng, Product Designer at Majestyk

About this episode

The sooner you can build a product and get it to the market for feedback, the better you can be at making sure your product meets your users' needs. . And this is accomplished by developing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

In this episode of The Majestyk Podcast, Jade Ng, Senior User Experience Designer at Majestyk Apps, discusses the benefits of starting a product development project by building an MVP and what that process entails.

Developing an MVP is the most effective and quickest way to release your product to the market. It allows you to save money and time by validating assumptions about core features without releasing a fully-built product. And by focusing on the core features of your product, users can easily navigate the product without being overwhelmed by too many features.

When developing an MVP, Jade highlights the importance of conducting the proper research,  prioritizing key features, and communicating effectively with all stakeholders on the project. She notes that a key challenge during this process is getting everyone on the team to realize that less is more when developing an effective MVP.
