I am the narrator Hiroko Numao.

This topic is “Heike Monogatari [2] ”   modern translation :Shiro Ozaki

"The Tale of the Heike" is a Japanese historical narrative that primarily depicts events from the late Heian period to the early Kamakura period. Focused on the Genpei War (1180-1185), it narrates the conflict between the Taira (Heike) and Minamoto (Genji) clans. Written in a prose and poetic form, it combines narrative prose with traditional waka poetry.

Please listen to it when you have a relaxing moment in your daily life.
