0:00Today is Thursday, March 26. The title of our devotional today is Identifying Disobedience. The devotionals usually follow the sermon from the previous Sunday. After our calm weeks, where we don't have a sermon, we focus on a Christian practice in the devotionals. These practices help us cement the truths we have learned in this campaign in our lives. Our devotionals for this week were written by Pastor John and recorded using an AI voice from 11 labs. Today, let's reflect on any ways that we have perhaps been disobeying God. Is there something God has been calling you to obey that you have been resisting? This could be a truth in his word that you are refusing to believe and walk in. For example, you may struggle to believe the truth that you are deeply loved by God, and he considers you his child by faith, not works of righteousness. As another example, you may struggle to believe that God is good. When we go through seasons of suffering and pain, we are tempted to question whether God is truly good. This could also be an aspect of the moral

1:00law that you are refusing to obey. A common one is that sexual activity outside of the marriage covenant is sinful. More broadly, perhaps you are feeling convicted about a sin that no one knows about. This disobedience could also be a resistance to a specific calling that God has for you. For example, he has called you to ministry and you are refusing to take the leap. Another more common example could be that God has been calling you to talk to your coworker about Jesus, but you are afraid that you'll say the wrong thing or their perception of you will change. So you haven't done it. For today, spend some time asking God to reveal if there is an area of your life in which you are disobeying him.
