So by a daughter got back from Japan. I talked to her yesterday and or is it tomorrow? No, don't do that again. We're back to real time now. They got back and they gained a day. They gained hours true for that matter but they I asked I asked him about Who spoke English? She said a lot of more broken English, but they could understand certain things and and Did they know any of the language? No, I didn't ask him that so much, but they They were they didn't know much language. They might have known how to say thank you and stuff like that eventually But I'm not really sure there were no more air. Oh, that's right. Yeah, Mr. Bob. I heard the stick song. That's about the extent of it It's Jim Sucks joke by the way he walked in and told that joke so that's his extent of Japanese But I they did we've talked about this before about when people go overseas and now that are American You know for the for the reasons you obviously expect you have to say with the reason you you get it and So they're in these cabs and she said every almost every time in the cat
It took a lot of cabs because they were all over two different cities Almost every time the cab driver from ask him where they're from and Don't say don't be a typical American and say well look at them. They're American. I know there could be Canadian It could be British. I mean, they're just two white people in the car so they they always said American and And first thing the guy said I'm not gonna do the accent Nick. I wanted to do the accent so bad do it I know Well, I want to know I want to know this. I want to know this when it comes to the accents Why can comedians do that and I think it's funny. I think I think I think an accent largely not being Racist in the accent. You're just doing the accent. What's the big deal? Tommy comedians do it comedians still do it. They still do it. I know but we don't make the rules anymore. I know Well, that we could do it, but I just don't want to do it. Yeah. Yeah, I mean push has done it. Push will do Brazil Yeah, but that's that's not Asian I'm not gonna do the Asian action here. I'm not gonna do the Asian action here
But in this we need Asian guy. I always thought push was playing the part of like you know usually There's a local newscaster white guy who likes to go with the native pronunciation and by the way You're not supposed to do that. You know, I'm not supposed to do either for that matter. I think you should do the accent. I know do it Nick You might lose gigs if you did if he does away Yeah, but the accent makes it better But I'm not gonna try the beef Ah, no, they I don't they a lot of sushi they had something that was a Blowfish blowfish liver She didn't try that Is it a blowfish the one that can be really dangerous? Deadly a puff of fish. Oh, yeah, the puff of fish Is it the same thing? No, it wasn't a deadly one, but it was called a blowfish liver not The liver is prepared. It'll kill you flesh shut up Nick But they say it was the best sushi in the they've ever tasted of course. That's where she's pretty much invented so
But they said the raw squid Not not good. Oh, yeah, they tried it. It's not yeah, she didn't try it He tried it but chewing on raw squid. It's not like Kalamari or it's bread and and that's nasty, too But it looked like the squid. I didn't do I'm shooting to one of those once all high I started that this is no good But they the raw squid was apparently not good, but did you eat the whole edible? What was that did you eat the whole edible? No, it was cocktail night Cuz you it was pepperization in the actual cocktail that I was sitting around It was a sunny day here beautiful like a man. I cocktail sounds better than an edible So you could do both yeah according to what I'm reading here It says the liver of the the pufferfish or the blow and the liver widely thought to be the most flavorful part Yeah, he said was amazing was traditionally said it was amazing, but this says it is also the most poisonous and Serving this organ in restaurants was banned in Japan in 1984 Well, they brought it back. I get you brought a part of this is Wikipedia. I was soon somebody would have updated that but yeah
It has the the toxins in they you have to be well actually told me very careful. Well, he didn't eat it He did he said it was Because she just didn't like the name of it But he said it was really really good like one of the best things he's ever tasted That's what so that's what I'm reading here. That might be the reason people eat it And they read a professional restaurant. I don't know. I don't know push about the find out Yeah, the the tetra tetra docked treat whatever the toxin right lives Especially in the liver eyes and skin of the fish and they say that those are the ones that couldn't really kill you So she said everything she said the bullet train is really cool and one thing she noticed is everything is really clean Oh, yeah, we don't want to spend money on that here though So aren't in that the place where you see the videos are like they have the like the self-cleaning public toilets Yeah, they're just like Automatically spray the whole thing down after everybody uses it. They have public bidets. Oh, yeah We learned that last week. I would guess they have public bidets in Japan if anywhere has public bidets
I don't know. Yeah, we're talking to more people than when Japan and just my daughter so you can find out just listen to us you Did you get a squirt at your Japanese Bade I'm just wondering if there are amateur restaurants You said they were to professional restaurant. Oh, I don't know. I just been professional Nick he doesn't think about the words. He says most of the time. I haven't you I'll grab a professional chef prepared it, but you're right Fresnel restaurants chefs work in restaurants. Yeah, any of like any restaurants like Pro anybody be paid for it. Yeah, it's technically a professional true, but I'm sure some people have tried it at home and There's some sort of 15-course meal. We're not good. How long does that take? I don't know. I've got to ask that question to Nick But I got a video of it I said to people like 12-course meal or like when you get there at 8 a.m Well, I think in this situation was all just different sushi's coming out So you probably eat it. You probably eat a 14-course meal. There's a flipping shrimp into their chef hat
All sitting around All those guys are white guys in Mexican guys Todd right there. Oh, I got a Mexican guy. Oh, I got a white guy I got a big grittle Come on make me laugh flip some of that Then your big hat that shrimp way a flipping your mouth to remember you're gonna flip your mouth We took the kids there all the time when you were little we look like I think the key to those multi-course meals is You're not getting more enough a couple of bites in each bad luck getting 12 different subs right And it and it doesn't take long for you to deal with that course and then move on to the next the courses are coming out pretty quick I think so because they're because they're not very big portion. Oh, they just fired into your mouth. It was a spatula For the third course you fly 14 hours to go to a penny Hana Did they go to McDonald's over there? No, they do that. They ate really good a lot of soup mainly sushi Oh, they say the ramen noodles are better than anything they've ever tasted too, you know I'm sure they are they're ramen over here. Yeah, you're telling me the Asian cuisine was better in Asia
Well, like a Italian cuisine probably yeah, Italy right make sense one of those onion volcanoes They did Yeah, they said They said the onion volcanoes were the best in the world in Japan Well, they invented them They invented the onion volcano. Yeah, yeah talking about exotic locations loves truck stop in Fremont Nebraska Has bidets Wow, oh no, that's got to be an ass trip. Yeah, Fremont. Yeah, is that just like a pressure washer? A lot of dirty acid Fremont. Oh, yeah, you know, it's been compacted for half the country too
