#29 ADHD and Motherhood; An Interview with Jodie Garth
About this episode
Today's guest on the podcast is Jodie Garth; Mother, Artist and Motherhood Coach. Jodie and I met in late 2021 whilst on a (life-changing) course about Matrescence with Amy Taylor-Kabbaz.
Jodie and I have both learned, grown and evolved so much through — and since — the 'Mama Rising' course, and I wanted to share Jodie's story here.
In this episode we speak about:
- menstrual cycle awareness, what we're not taught about our bodies and passing the wisdom on to our children
- the challenges of ADHD and motherhood combined
- healing in hindsight when you find out more about yourself
- matrescence and ADHD
- Jodie's expression as an artist and finding her voice through collage
You can find Jodie and her work on Instagram at @cherishandbloom_art
Themes: ADHD, Motherhood, Parenting, Mental Health, Art
At the end, I share a poem written by Danielle Doby.
