About this episode
Robert begins stealing at five to gain attention. He smokes at ten, uses drugs at twelve and steals from his employer at sixteen. He burglarizes a store and is sent to prison at eighteen. Unable to break the meth habit, he marries and has a son, tries drug treatment eleven or twelve times over the years. His wife divorces him, and he allows another man to adopt his son. He falls in with bikers and the low-level life they lead. His father has to rescue him once, but his family generally shuns him. He prays for salvation several times, but doesn’t follow through. Finally, Robert asks to stay in rehab for six months, breaks the meth addiction and gets serious with God. His son commits suicide at 20, and Robert is now in jail ministry.
