I met Gabi IRL at Hester Street Fair when Commercial Type and Dahsar hosted our first ever Zine Fair and she had a table with us. Gabi was selling bodega prints along with a few vintage postcards and a certain movie star pulled up. They’ve been best friends ever since.
Gabi was formerly at Chobani and her watercolors were used on the original rebrand packaging. Her illustration work has been featured in The Guardian, It’s Nice That, and Bon Appétit.
