27. Should I fire my therapist?

Can therapy be harmful? The belief that “just talking” leads to change is a common misconception. For many, it’s their behaviors in life that contribute to a pattern of negativity. Ineffective therapy creates emotional dependence with no purpose, no direction or scientific backing. Good therapy prepares you for the end of therapy.
