About this episode
His parents divorce when he’s young, and Victor grows up shy and uncertain. He nearly drowns at fourteen. He and a friend are caught stealing food and shot by police with mystery gun. After surgery he can’t walk for months. He finishes high school with awards for his paintings but is too shy to accept them. He gets a job and learns his boss is his real father, confusing him.
