237: Rolex Resale Roulette, Formex Upgrades, And A Thousand Year Watch
About this episode
This week on aBlogtoWatch Weekly, Rick and Ripley are holding down the fort as they work their way through some of the latest releases, industry conversations, and questionable watch buying decisions. They start by exploring whether the watches everyone wants are actually the most satisfying to own, which naturally sends them down a Rolex rabbit hole. From personal connections to popular models to the realities of buying for hype, the conversation eventually becomes a challenge to build the most unfashionable Rolex possible and see just how badly it performs on the secondary market.
The guys also take a spin with the roulette inspired Perrelet Turbine Casino before looking at the latest Formex Essence 39 and why sometimes the smartest upgrade is knowing what not to change. There is also the incredibly shiny Bulova Shelby Racer Chronograph, along with the massive, hand engraved Urwerk UR 1001 Amadeus and its millennium tracker designed to count its way through the next thousand years. Plus, there are plenty of the usual tangents along the way, including what actually makes strangers notice your watch and whether the aBlogtoWatch team really needs a Geneva chateau and its own reality show.

Good evening. Welcome to Top Locked To Watch Weekly Live. Welcome to Two of us though. And it's the only two who are. What's your matter? I think- What's your matter? Well, with David and Aril not here, I think we should just spend the entire episode talking about gardening equipment, tractors, machetes. If we can mention a couple watches, that'll be a good deal. But you know, I've very specifically have a note in my blog to watch Weekly Notebook to talk to you about thermal vision and night vision cameras. I thought the idea of this particular week was you were going to do this show in the dark and you were just going to be through the night vision cameras. Or as immediately as to being the dark, so as you can see me, I'm not quite sure how that works. I think Aril is the only one currently with a night vision scope. Right. So it would have to be him. But then we might need to debrief on terms of what version of the thermal imaging, they have that black and white kind of military one. They've got that predator style one where everything's blue with like the orange and stuff.
Although it's quite hot, so in Los Angeles, so I think everything would just have been uniformed shade of red. It's a good point. It's a good point. It's a good point. If it's really hot, does it work? It does. It's actually really interesting. Like which cars turned off suit like which ones arrived because you can see more heat emanating from the bottoms of some than others. I actually for the first time in a long time, some were on partner somebody and went over and fell with Bonnet just to see how long they'd possibly been going. I used my spy decends is to indicate that they had not long left because the engine of the stalwart was also a Jaguar, which bearing mine, the dosing to making anything these days was rather a more of a self that was actually one on the street. Was it the new one? Did you just say that while you touched? I was going to say that's why I wanted to touch it. Just make sure it's still there. I see you. You've made up on it. See if it changes colors when you put your hand on it. Does it happen to know what's happening with Jack? I mean, it's like Sean Gidrow. They're there.
They're not going on, but like we've got other things to talk about. They've got the things to talk about. Yes, so let's talk about, well, so how did the last two weeks show us go? I was there. And again, trusting. It's just a few state talk about watches. Next thing I know is what you actually talked about watches. That's the strength thing in itself. Yeah, you weren't here. Of course, it was just watches. It's the strength in itself. I think this should be a more of a torium. You should only talk about so many watches. So, I assume you didn't play the picker of your death on a grey guest surprise of the sake or anything. No, if anything, Ariel is talking about killing the picker wheel of death. I think the key thing here is that Ariel shouldn't be allowed to be left in charge. That's where the problem is. Just because I know it there doesn't necessarily mean it's Ariel. What if we turned it into a roulette wheel? So instead of just yellow and green, there was one single red one where it's game over. They all get to live.
And then there could be second one, game over the organ to die. We're all just going to worry. Like a zero and a double zero. Yeah. I could, I could, I could, I could, I could say that risk. Chris is with Ariel because it's still be a choice. Well, I promise you anything that might end up with a little sooner. Yeah, he will be a supporter of that. He'd been to you think, yeah, it does seem to not be the, it's definitely a, a, a second that divides people. There are some who love it. Most people hate it. It's staying until the job is done. It's difficult work. Coming off these brands, right? Tell them this is a, this is a new board, not a G-Shock. No, this is a Uplo original big, big, big, big original. Another thing that divides people, some love it, some hate it. So what is the reason for this? This is yours or has it been sent to you for some reason? Well, it has neither. Neither. So it's neither yours nor been sent to by Uploah. No, it was sent to us.
It was specifically sent to Ariel, but they had sent two variations. He's currently has the black ceramic version. I've got the titanium and black ceramic. And it's, it's a cool watch. So like it gives you, it doesn't look like the modern Unico big bangs. It's a millimeter smaller than the original 43 versus 44, but it's made so much better than the original big bangs that they were producing back then. So it gives you that vibe, but it's made to the modern standards. So it's, I like it a lot. More than I thought I would, but I'm assuming that is a fan of Uploah. So, but this is a problem. This is a problem with Uploah. They're actually very cool, but it comes down to it. Now, we'll talk about, we will talk about this article. Let me just get it. Keep moving stuff around. I know this app that we used to record. So there we go. We'll get this article here. According to Ariel, the pump who are to paradox or by top watchies are rarely the most satisfying to claim. I imagine Uploah made forward to that. We will, of course, first of all, talk about what is it with this leather jacket?
And the E, they was good on here. According to, is it easy to hold new type set for himself? The typography is important to branding Ariel understands this. And the watch industry starting with FHB has a long history of embracing leather jackets. Now Ariel here is displaying the appropriate number of zippers and appropriate, huge to have on a leather jacket, not that bright red, shaft looking thing, borderline thriller looking thing. FHB has, but here you go. Does he not look regal? Does he not look like he's about to pontificate and tell you something here? Yeah, I'm not quite sure. Boy, he looks like he's about to do, but he certainly a bit to do something. Yeah. So do we get to auction this jacket off? The way that she was at the auction, she always said, James and Jimmy, what? I've got my name right, the guy who ruins Nvidia up to doff his leather jacket and Ben even crossroads or formerly of with Mark Piggy.
Maybe at some point, I think he wears this. So I don't think we'll be getting this from him. I think it would be fun to meet the most famous leather jacket and herology. Ariel's are not Ben from crossroads. I think that would be a spectacle. All we would need to do is I think he just needs to get gift everyone on the team. These jackets, we all wear them. It watches and wonders. I don't care if it's like brutally hot in the booth, whatever. We just commit to it. And it'll become known. People will talk about it. People will say, I don't like talking about it. You'll be the light into the booth or not. It means to be seen as you go in a sweaty mess, dripping condensation over Chanel's white carpet. I'm already a sweaty mess that week. They just don't believe in air conditioning. And Godspeed to Ariel and David. Now they're in the summer for Geneva watch days. So Geneva is, well, I'm not sure how brutal yesterday was brutal last week. It was absolutely brutal.
It's all brutal. If you don't believe in fans or AC, like it doesn't matter what it is, it's always brutal. And you're insisting going to old hotels to present your watches. And how can we make this hotter? It's a big beauty. I got. I know. I'm a flash just bouncing in my face like the whole time that that'll do it. So according to Ariel, I do like this EE thing. This is this is like this needs emblazoned on the back of the weather jacket. The EE. Although in this country, you've got the truck away in your country, don't you? Well, we got both trouble and triple. So AA in our country is alcoholics anonymous. Triple is the American automotive association. And they're the ones who fix your car if you've broken down. I mean, we do have EE in this country, which is both alcoholics, not EE, which is the automobile association. So how do you differentiate those in your family? I have never considered that to be an issue.
But now that you point out, I think it is worthy of debate is like when what's the organization that looks after the world like WWF and WWF came to blows over who got to call themselves WF. Perhaps the alcoholics anonymous association in the UK should be taking up some sort of opposition to the use of the by the auto association. To be fair, there's more overlap between the alcoholics anonymous association and the automotive association that there is with the wildlife and the rest of the time does. Because if you're drunk and you call AA or the automotive version AA, that's productive. Maybe the other guys will come and tow your car for you so you don't drive. Yeah, yeah. If you're looking for a fight and you call to donate money to pandas, you're never going to connect that one. I'll drive you the crossover is somewhat limited. Although, perhaps fundamentally more fun crossover would be the rope taking on a very large and angry panda.
I think that I think I'd say see that. You lose for the rock. You either get a hand in the panda or you're the one known as that giant man who beat on that poor, uncoordinated pair who has to only eat eucalyptus or whatever's going on with that. Yeah. You call it. You call it the wildest. You call it the wildest. And then we go, what about to get nine minutes into the show and not really talk about what he's saying? We're back on. We're back. We should be. This is where it should be. So photo. So like this from Boris Johnson's chat, the Ariel Adams photo has a certain North Korean vibe to it. I can see where he's coming from. I can see where he's coming from. I get that. Is that how you feel as an employee of a blog to watch that you're being led by an authority to have I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I.
I don't know. I'm going to how you do that just in case that is. Right, Ariel's article pop. I. I. I talk. Watch. I really don't. I. Is the watch that you want? That you would consider to be a popular watch, but that you actually do find satisfying to them. It's essentially so. Rolex Submariner W16610. So why do you find it satisfied to collect a watch that Adil said, she knew he found you satisfied. I mean, you could not ask for a more run of the mill sub. It's literally the most common reference out there that made it longer than any of the others among the sub dates. But I always wanted a sub like the reason I thought watches were cool when I was like three, four years old, because my mom had a lady date just and she couldn't articulate how a self-winding movement works. So that was just magic to me. And I thought it was cool that it could go in the water.
You know, shortly thereafter when I learned that they made one specifically designed to go deep underwater, well, that's everything I like about my mom's plus this other cool thing. So I always thought they were cool. The seedweller was not on my radar at such a young age. So I always liked the sub. And when I had one came up with a cool faded blue bezel from my birth year and I had the opportunity to buy it before prices went crazy. I did and I'm happy I bought it when I did because I wouldn't pay the money. I'm not going to pay five digit prices for a four digit Rolex. So or six digit prices for five digit Rolex. But you know, I'm happy to pay four digit price for a five digit Rolex. And that's what I did and I'm happy to own it. I'm, you know, it's liquid if I ever want to get rid of it. But it's I will openly admit that if I didn't have the personal connection to the sub and it always wanted one and got it at the right price, it's not really the most interesting watch. I've got noodles of other dive watches that check similar boxes that I'm, you know, I arguably bring me more joy because I can wear them without worry.
So. So I wonder whether this article is more about the audio doesn't like lists. Doesn't like that. No, I think I think what he's saying is in this is that, you know, I think my case is an interesting one where I happened to want the popular watch long before it was the popular watch. And I didn't that didn't change my preferences. But the people who feel that they need to go after the hard to get watches, you know, that John Mayer Daytona is the rainbow Daytona is the Nautilus is Royal Oaks of the world. If unless they have a personal reason that have wanted that watch for a long time. And if the main reason they want it is just because it's the hard one to get or the cool watch to own. Once you do get it, if you didn't like it for intrinsic reasons to begin with, you're not going to be satisfying. It's not going to be satisfying to own them. And on top of that, owning something like the Samaritan or I own really says nothing about who I am as a person unless you really want to talk to me and hear my origin story because
everyone in their mom has the exact same Samaritan or so most people would just go, ah, that kid just bought whatever. So it was cheapest. So where do you have to be in what client thing? You are off the beaten track like how far down the table of most popular watch brands. Do you need to be to no longer be collecting a top watch? So let's say like Rolex is out. Oh my god. Rolex doesn't have to be out. You know, there's great stuff from Omega and Rolex. But I think if you're just going for the most obvious, hard to get, you know, give me a Daytona. Why? I don't know. I heard the Daytona was the hot watch. You know, if there's a lot of interesting stuff from there, if you have want to get like a 1908 or something more power to you, that's a beautiful time piece and certainly no hype around it. Okay. So let's play that again, man. Let's say go to the Rolex.
We say we don't go to the Rolex website. What was the last sounds on the Rolex website? Let's see what it's doing these days. The Rolex website is leading with the C2LR, a whole thing. That can't possibly be right. But it does appear to be and Roger Federer. Okay. So let's see if we can get a catalog from Rolex and from others. You're not going to see all the watches in one place. There's so many. No, that's not bad. This is not a bad realist. That's just the collections. Yeah. Yeah, I know. But let's switch of these within Rolex, which you need to be into for not to be classified as appropriate. Is it just the 19 week? No, any of them. I guess it's not saying any of them. Any of them. If as long as it's not like the obvious example, there's some weird, weird date just and date dates. If you want to go for that, there's, you know, non-obvious versions of the Oyster Perpetual, you know, what's the obvious one?
The Jubilee dial, you know, or previously the celebration dial. Going for the latest new dial color isn't necessarily it for the date just. But if you want to get one of those bizarre configurations with like a precious metal and a stone dial or some exotic bezel, yeah. Okay. Let's see. Can you actually, this is a horrible website. It just leads you through. You have to screw down the whole thing to I see the Rolex wearing it. You're not. Okay. So it's, you have to hit the configure button. If you're going to go as hiding in the car realize, configure the most random date just right. So what's date just what's our size? Couldn't be okay. Well, let's go with 36 because I think everyone can wear 36. Yeah, but then if everybody makes a 36, then sure that's a popular one. No, the popular ones, the 41 at least for the men. So, you know, if they're so as material, we're going to have to go to the next one. So we are choosing oyster steel white rolls or yellow rolls or everuse.
So, I think going smooth bezel oyster bracelet with a weird dial is definitely not a hype. It doesn't even look like a date just, but you could probably get some interesting stuff in the yellow Roller's or white Roller's or categories. But go for a smooth bezel oyster steel. Oyster steel. There we go. So oyster steel bezel domed flitted brilliant diamonds. There's the flitted one. It is a domed. That's the unpopular choice. Chipotle. No oyster. Oh, that's horrible. That's terrible. That's not. Yeah. Dial. So what we're choosing dial colored. Fight with Roman numerals. Do they really not? This all they've cut it down to. Wow, they've called the herd. Yeah, but this one I'm saying. Yes. Keep going. Oh, keep going the other way. Yes, there's got to be more. No, that's us. So you go to the Wimbledon type. All right.
So all about the, the, what, like, what do you need to do to this was to absolutely kill the retail, the retail value of it? Let's build the world. Yes. Any of these, none of these dials are like maybe the Wimbledon's cool, but like most of these dials, if you get like a smooth bezel Datejust, you're not going to flip it for a profit. I mean, maybe like some cool green dial, but you might break even, but like you get a white dial like great watch. Okay, so a smooth bezel Datejust 36 with a white Roman numerals dial. Do you reckon that's the biggest counteroffer of retail value in Rolex? No, no, no, there's definitely like some yacht master or something. Oh, I should have it. Let's look at the old. Okay, let's start this feature again. Right. Pick. You're looking to see how you can take the biggest wash on Rolex. Yeah. Biggest washer Rolex. What about buying? Let's just say in the most unpassable Rolex.
That's what this is like. Well, I took it. Like maybe a solid rose gold yacht master. No, solid like gold yacht master, yacht two and solid yachting. There we go. People like the oyster flex ones. That's like not a fair one. Okay, so. Maybe a two tone yacht master. That's going to be a hard sell. Configure model. So a hard sell. Let's configure this yacht master 42. So first of all, we go for the 37. Yeah, 37 two tone. 37 already know what you do. Our listeners are dropping off as we speak. Here we go. Do we see him's cooler? I think they ever rose. Ever rose to tone. Yeah, never rose to tone. Right. Okay. Discover your dial black or yeah, definitely the color dial. That's horrible. Yeah, color dial or dark dial dial. Right. So people might like the chocolate, but so just. What do you think? No, go with the black because at that point you should have just bought a GMT master. All right. Okay.
There it goes. So 14,850. Okay. Okay. Now let's play the game properly and enter the code into Crudo 9,3201. So let's go to Crudo 202. I don't think this is the point of Arielle's article. I really don't think that we're talking about monetary value in the slightest. I think we're talking about what's going to be the most rewarding timepieces to own. Like if you go search that, you know, the annals of all of the interesting independence that operate on a high end and you find one that you absolutely love and can communicate with the people behind it and you buy that. You're going to enjoy that watch a lot more than if you bought one out and just bought a solid gold Daytona because someone told you it was the cool watch to own. I think this has nothing to do with monetary value. There are watches out there that you will lose the sum of a house if you buy it and try to flip it. And I don't think Rolex is a good is going to win any of these competitions compared to some brands.
But I think that this is a better game. So I think the game of what's build on watch and then you have to build a watch that on Crudo 24 takes the biggest hit. So this watch tunes in at 14,850. OK, I have found them on Crudo 24. What about sorting from low to high? What do you think is the cheapest one of these on Crudo 24 just now? 9, 11, no, 10, 5. Ooh, that's close. You did a good job there. The cheapest 262 is 10,200. I'm shearing the wrong screen for those watches. And that's crown 24. So if you mess with this color, I'm sure they're willing to go. Oh, shit. There you go. 10,200 for this yacht mask. It is a lovely bit of photography there.
Well, that's horrible. Maybe they want to switch the lights on next time they're taking a photograph of their watch. But there we go. And it's in the UK. I know it's insured. Where is it? It is Ming-Wat Ming Watches are selling used Rolexes. You see that? It's interesting. Ming-Wat's channel, Hong Kong. There you go. I like it. I think we should play what watch takes if you can find the biggest hit. Literally hit on a watch. You might be a totally fair. There are certain things in here where if you buy it, you might as well have just let your money on fire and thrown it on a hillside. Yeah, but can you design the worst Omega Speedmaster? I mean, there are so many watch brands that have these kind of configurators. But I think that's kind of who we just use Rolex. Who else has a good configurator on their website? Rolexes configuration does enable you to try and decede which Rolex can you buy. There we go. Here is thought on the chart. Have a red arrow. It was after cool.
You'd be both. But sure, the issue is that the Files Rolex watches the X on the Rolex brand itself as eking late uncle. It's a kind of uncle because it's calling played. So is that an issue? Great watch is just and amongst two just to just too obvious. Too obvious to be to be cool. I think that's a certain part of it. But I think it also just goes back to the reason of like if you moved heaven and earth to get a watch that you weren't really in love with and you spent a solid amount of money to obtain it. If you didn't like it before you had it, you're not going to like it more now after you have it. And it's not going to necessarily be a satisfying watch for you to actually own. No one's going to really ask you, hey, is that a Samariner? Yeah, it is. They've been making the same watch since the 50s. It's obviously Samariner. Whereas someone might be like, what MBNF is that?
Or oh, a trivia? Whoa. Okay. You must like watches. I think there's that whole aspect of being able to connect with people over it. But also just I don't think anyone buys a jockey dro because of hype. If you have a jockey dro, you would either just flagrantly drunk and made a nil advice purchase. Or you just really loved it because it's a beautiful watch. No, you were right. The first time just nobody buys a jockey drool food stall was what you were looking for there. Well, I mean, it's some do and if you do, please phone in. Yeah, please phone in. Actually, we'll give you the number for the A. I draw them. We'll be fine. Either the Automy Association or our co-sign on us will both help you with your jockey drool purchase that they'll both give you some some sound advice, which is probably just go away. Right? So which watch do you own that is the watch that you think is it gives you the cool point?
No, it's not really that. It's the, I suppose it's which watch actually do you have that you find the most satisfying to collect because of other people's interaction with you? I guess which is your most talking point watch? You put that on and two aspects. You're with a bunch of watch geeks which watch a full come and say try that one because I've never seen one of them before or I've seen lots of them but I've always wanted to try one on and use you by the kiddie guy. It's good to let me try it as multi-thousand paid watch in a public place without a call and you've no idea who I am because that's going to have a red bar work. Can I have a red bar works? And which watch do you own that you put on and somebody catch that comes over at Payroll Station? They're going to go. Oh, yeah. That's right. I don't know and that's a hard one.
I don't know. I don't know a lot of multi thousand pound watches. Well, maybe it's simply the case that there are no watches that I actually don't. We all wish that we had what we wished. I see the eternal desire of the watch collector is to find the watch that when they're in a completely random place, someone's going to kill up and go, who watched it. And I say that is the thing we're all chasing and it simply never happens because people who are interested in watches are interested in watching. No, if you're wearing a Jacob and go astronomy, that's like a little fish tank on your wrist with sapphires and stuff floating around. Someone's going to be like, my friend, what is that? Okay. But like, unless it's just totally striking something fun, interesting that if someone asks you about it, you don't feel ridiculous telling them about it or just like, I don't know, like everyone else at my firm had one and I felt I needed one to fit in at the end of the day. Yeah, I get unstable. Okay. So we're all chasing, we're all chasing, we're all just chasing something that doesn't really
exist. Yeah, there needs to be so outlandish that really the reason why the person is just stopped you is because they're as confused about what sort of your wrist as you potentially are. And there isn't, and everything else is just a Rolex. We're talking about it ourselves, it's a Rolex. And the first question is going to be how much is that to coin a very famous Scottish meme, how much is that Rolex? Anyway. So, yeah, is that basically what it is? Is that a jacket, a row or a billionaire watch from somebody covered in diamonds or it's a Rolex? Sometimes. A cool G-Shock is all it is. And it can just be like an interesting design, a cool collab, someone sees the same 5600 silhouette they've seen their whole life. We're kind of a little bit different. They're like, hey, what is that one? You know? Okay. So it's really the cheap aim. So it's really, it needs to be a funky plastic watch in which case, what you've got to
write all along with the sweet and all the rest of it. Or it needs to be something so outlandish that as you see it resembles a fish tank on your wrist. And everything else in between is Rolex and the question, how much is it you pay for that Rolex? Is that the summary of what's collecting? The what's collecting? I'm going to write an article. It's just going to have those three things of it. By a funky G-Shock and somebody might ask you about it, where a fish tank on the wrist and somebody on my query or just where a Rolex and be prepared to be asked every time, how much did you pay for that Rolex and scrimmaging their faces and that ever? For those that know the meme. I think you can also wear a watch without it needing to demand attention. And if you just really like it and on the off the cat occasion that maybe someone comes up to you in comments on it, you're able to have a good conversation with them about it instead of because Daytona's are cool. And that's the end of it. You know, like I think that will be a more rewarding experience than just chasing the hype.
And at the very least, you'll end up with pieces you actually like instead of just whatever was cool at that snapshot in time. What is the favorite watch you would write there? You can't, that's impossible. I'm not even sure what watches I own right now. All right, okay. I will give you a different question. What's the favorite knife that you wouldn't write there? And it's easier to choose. It's not, it's not how do you compare a nice like, you know, nice folder against a massive fixed blade. I don't know. I, I mean, you have to give the bench made bug out. I've got one of the knife center exclusive ones with the CPM magnet cup blade. I love that for just like daily carry. I love the pocket knife, but I also have this really nice protect. It's a, it's a switchblade with a stiletto style blade, but it uses the same type of bronze that Tudor uses for the black Bay bronze. And that's the only alloy they use in the a protect that isn't American made. It's, you know, because it's the same bronze, but it's got a nice mother of pearl button
for this, but it's, it's really lovely. Okay. So I always explore this for a little second. I do not know. I just show it's getting creative with niche, more niche than normal. So you're finding it difficult to choose your favorite watch. You're finding it difficult to choose your favorite knife. At what stage and things that you own does it become easy to choose? So favorite car you've ever owned. Or you still don't really know they're all quite nice. Or I know I was a living car. I know I mean, I like them for different reasons. I haven't owned enough to like, yeah, I loved my first car. It was a Mustang, but like they had no AC. It was not comfortable. And now, okay, so favorite quality. I'm curious is to whether or get you just trying to get me to say favorites because Ariel never will. That is an aleater. It's just like every thing. It's just like, everything. Get all of the rest of it. I'm just wondering where this is really different past time. I do my favorite watch on a panel right simple. I don't know. You were working something else today though.
I'm working something else. I'm we're who. Can you share it with the class? Come on. I say, should a black bee hardens these things. But favorite watch a panel right? No problem. No problem. Favorite car I've ever owned. Pick up truck. Which one? It was a, it was a, it doesn't look count as a pick up truck in the States because we don't do pick up trucks. We do pick up. It's a Mitsubishi L200 wall control addition. Crack and crack. I've owned much more expensive cars. I've owned cheaper cars. That favorite, just favorite vehicle. So I don't have a problem making these car toys. Actually, it's, but I wonder if that's a me thing and you've got a you thing. So whether it is a unit like is David going to be, David made choices easier? Easier than Ariel. Is it an American problem? Is it really what I'm saying to? Yeah. We have definitely been in places. We've never been able to decide, you know, look, that's why I'm just looking at our country. Look at the consensus. Oh my God.
No. Right. Let's move on then and talk about some actual watches that you've actually viewed. So this is in nearly 30 minutes. Let's talk about some watches. Yes, Thomas. Watches. The Pearly Weekend Stone Diles Collection Expansment Quartet of New Watches. Have you ever reviewed these? Is this, is that new release? Have you seen any of these in the franchise yet? I've actually did. I got to show that is not my wrist shot. These are Pearly's images. I got to see some of these alongside the original duo of models, briefly in Geneva when we met with them earlier this year. The original ones had a venturing and malachite dials and I believe they were limited additions or potentially quirk and I think they were quirk collection. Either way, we normally think of Pearly as like the rotating dials really bold extroverted aesthetic, but the Weekend Collection are pretty traditional kind of they they have some other models. So now everything's three hand time and date, but it's relatively conservative modern dress
watch designs. So they've now expanded the collection with four new models. You get Tiger's Eye, Turquoise, Onyx and Lapis. Unlike the normal 39 and a half millimeter Weekend models, these have kind of these nicer doffin shaped hands rather than batons, which I quite like a bit. But you also get in house movement. Pearly is so proud sibling company. So this is a movement so proud created for Pearly. It's based on known quantity architecture, but all things considered it's a good thing and you get a stone dial in a nice Swiss made watch for under 2k. So if you didn't like Pearly's rotating dials, that's not all they make and check out the Weekend Collection. Cool. So 1800s USD. I mean, I don't like it that much. It's reasonable enough what it's supposed to feel like. I think it feels kind of a long gen Z of 15 years ago.
Maybe the three hander. Yeah, there's nothing revolutionary. But you know, if you, if you, the main thing you wanted was a nice watch with a cool stone dial. Well, here you go. There's nothing revolutionary about it, but you get a strap and a bracelet at that price. Both included. And it's very unobjectionable. It's done nicely. The price is right. It's, you know, it's not necessarily the most exciting watch, but it's certainly possible to pay a lot more for something with this stone dial and not necessarily have it be quite as nicely executed. Yeah. And then they also do this hands on the Pearly Turin Casino Lula watch on trend for today's gambling fast-needed world. How does a brand that sells watches this price point? So this isn't Jacob and Cole. No, this is just a lot more than the watches we just looked at from them. This is like, how much is this? It's like five grand. It now, it's all titanium.
You get the rotating dial. There's a lot more going on with this watch. But it is still, this is the very opposite end of the aesthetic spectrum. Is it not just confusing? Like, you see, I mean, if you had said to me, I've just gone out and bumped Pearly, I'd be thinking it was something like this or one of the, one of the turbine dials, I wouldn't be thinking it's a fairly classic looking three hander with the date until you start with it. It's just a bit of a wide spectrum of kind of watches to make because it's not like they just make the occasional turbine watch. That is the thing. Yeah, it's the bread and butter. And this one's kind of a quirky version. The traditional turbine aesthetic has those, well, turbine-shaped blades in the center that rotate around and it lets you view the base layer. On this one, they've swapped it out. So instead of a track with our markers, you get the numbers of a roulette wheel, red
and black alternating green at zero. And the center rotates. Now on the Jacobinco versions of the roulette, where it's literally a mechanical complication where you push a button and the thing rotates, there's a ball sealed in this little capsule that bounces around there like a proper roulette wheel. On this one, there's no ball, but on the rotating center section, there's this arrow-shaped index and parallelize, reworked the mechanism of the spinning dial on this roulette version to rotate a bit slower and more intentionally. So that that index points to the numbers more clearly rather than just spinning really freely. It's still not going to be the thing you want to use for proper gambling because you'd have to take it off your risk, give it a shake, put it on the table or something like that. But it is cool. And if you like gambling and weren't trying to spend a half million dollars on the Jacobinco version, here's five grand in. Arrows is said, I mentioned the show saying he misses us. It probably wouldn't be seen that if he wasn't talking to him or saying, but he's not our Jack. Certainly not the first 10 minutes or 10% of the knives and machetes and farm equipment
and pick up trucks. So the bet there spends isn't the numerals, the bet there spends is the bet and the medial to point to numerals. Yeah, so the numerals are all fixed. It's that center section that spins, which is sort of done to look like the handles of a proper roulette table. And then just spend your own. Does it just spend freely or do you have to push something to make it? No, it just spins freely, just like the regular roulette watches. Anytime it's in motion, it's going to be spinning. Okay. Like due to the way it's weighted, it's going to tend to indicate towards the bottom if you're holding it upright. But so that's why if you did want to use it for gambling, we're saying give it a 10-on-5 red is what we're seeing really. Yeah, yeah, there's few numbers. If you're keeping it on your wrist, but it's interesting. It's brushed and polished surfaces and done pretty nicely, despite being grayed to titanium. So that's kind of an interesting question. Is this, I mean, the case and bracelet look quite interesting. Is this a case and bracelet from somewhere else in the range that just fitted this
to? Yeah, so they have a couple different versions. This is a 39.5 millimeter version. I think they have 42.5 is the other turbine EVO models. That's this K-shaped. And the other turbine watches with the less integrated style appearance. But they make a version of this watch that is basically the same, but with a traditional turbine style dial. Okay. Oh, it's pretty good. It's a cool looking case. I mean, the gamble thing we're doing, that's the get you stopped. I wonder if it's a get you stopped going to casino thinking that it was somehow interesting. What was going on? I'm setting my watch. It finishes in green zeal. I mean, it's a limited edition of 100 pieces. The price premium for this versus the regular ones is not much at all. So if you like this aesthetic and we're interested in picking up a turbine model and just didn't want a turbine looking watch, this is not a bad alternative. Provided that you're into gambling and you know, are on Kalshi and whatever.
Maybe we should say to our, if you buy us all one of these watches and at the same time we'll get them to go to green zero, we will stop playing the pick of real of death. So it'll cost them a price. I think it'll cost a five grand, basically, to end the game, the heaths the most, but there we go. So you can go and check out, apparently, and I'll replace a review of it. What else have we got? We have leather jackets. We have a review of the Chanel J12. I'm sure there's something else fun in here. Oh, I don't know what it was. It was these two articles. The J12, so exciting. Now and now. Yeah. No, I want to talk about this because the other watch people are not here. David's not here. So we get to talk about Apple watches. Okay. So while I'm reviewing, is it good for running? Yeah. It's pretty good. Yeah, it's pretty good.
Is it not just good for everything? Yeah, I've actually really enjoyed wearing it. I like, as a diehard watch nerd, I could never be content with just an Apple watch. But if I'm really being honest with myself, the only need I have for a timepiece other than to just make me feel special is when I use a GPS function to like track my outdoor runs. So yeah, some type of Garmin or Apple watch would be the move. I've always worn Garmin. That's signed to have been my comfort zone. The Apple watch, the big detracting feature for it historically for me. I have a series 10 is just I have to charge it every day. Sometimes that's inconvenient. So I want to go running batteries almost dead, whatever. So ultra, I mean, you get an extra day of battery life, but that's kind of a lot when you've effectively upgraded by 100%. And the same thing, the other thing I didn't like about the standard Apple watch when running is you literally have one button and one knob, which can also be a button.
But everything else is through the touchscreen. The Apple watch ultra adds one button on the opposite side of the case, known as the action button. And again, it may not seem like that big of a deal, but you have expanded the physical controls by 50% and that does allow you to like start an activity immediately. So for a race, you can use it. The battery life is quite a bit longer. GPS is better. It picks up a signal. He can use as a proper dive computer. So I loved having it in Hawaii. He jump off a boat, dive to the bottom. Depth gauge immediately starts as soon as you're underwater, tracks your dives throughout it. And then you can look down and go, we've went in total of, you know, at 17 feet was the deepest here or something like that. All the notifications are great. It does that type of daily stuff better than almost anything else. And so I kind of love it. I've worn it every single day for at least eight hours a day because my clothes, my brings all that since I've had it for the last three months. Oh, dear. We're getting into the closing ring to be. Oh, okay. Like I'm, I'm what tomorrow actually today, Rick, I will earn 1,000 move goals.
So. Wow. Oh, it just went off. Oh, okay. This is going to be a challenge. It's just finished at 999. Right. I'm going to hold on hold on hold on hold on. I assume in that. No, no, that's not how you do that. I just get a real. Oh, no, that doesn't work. How did I get in the blue? Only on the screen. There we go. I know nothing. I probably can't read this. I will read it for you. There we go. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to. I'm going to. Okay. It's a worst of a watch. He gave you some money. I get a little digital badge that goes in my collection of other. A lot of people said. It's too bad. It's. It's. Yeah. It's an electronic pad on the back. But. Yeah. But it's a really useful device. If I. If I. If I. If I. I could see it being my only smartwatch, and that's the. This is the first Apple Watch where I really feel that way.
I've appreciated the old ones, but I'd still use a garment for running. it and I've been completely content. Completely dead. Satisfaction has finally been found. By the Apple Watch Ultra, every guy says everything about the watch industry. I have nothing to say because I think these are really cool. My wife is calling. I've got an old, an old, our, we, a minimum. I don't even know what it is, it's sitting here. You know, dead to fight what that is. It's an old quad for sure. They're all literally all the same. They even tell you on an Apple Watch. What ear did you get it? Oh, cool video, I think. So whatever that was. We should mention the Foremex. We should mention the Foremex. I think they deserve a massive pat on the back for not messing up a good thing. Okay, let's look at the Foremex, the Foremex, sitting here or something. How much does MacWatt ultra-pattery? 799. 799. You're in a choice of the three standard straps or bump it up like a extra 100 bucks if you want
the metal. Okay. So, format, since 30-millimeter automatic course get generational upgrade. So, what is the generational upgrade to think of? The essence is Foremex's that selling watch. That's since 39's awesome. I've got the Red Dial version. What they've done with this latest generation, it spans three dials. They're classic blue. There's this white one with blue finish hands and hour markers. And then this sand-colored dial with like gunmetal finish hands and hour markers. They've kept the dimensions, the exact same, the dial layout, everything we like about the essence 39. There's three notable upgrades. And it's ones that we've seen on first on the essence ceramic and then on the limited edition space ghost version of the 41. So, the first is a screw-down crown. The previous ones had a standard push pull crown. The new crown screwed down. Water resistance is still 100 meters, but the crown screw is down yet it still has that case suspension system. So, they've milled
a slot in there. Great. I don't think anyone would object to a screw-down crown. Next is the an upgraded movement. So, it's now the power plus version of the SW200, still chronometer certified, but you get a longer power reserve. So, that again, no one's going to be complaining about a longer power reserve with the same proven engine. And then you also get an updated bracelet. You'll get, if you really want to see what they're doing with the screws, go read my review of the space ghost 41 millimeter model, new screws, but more importantly, a new type of class extension. So, it's kind of like what you'll find on the Nautilus where each side can be pulled out independently without having to remove it from your wrist. Really sleek the previous one already had a nice fold out extension. This is just better more refined. And it's just kind of what FormX does best with those little micro mechanical pieces. So, all in all, it's going to offer a better on wrist experience thanks to the bracelet and power reserve. And it's going to wear the exact same as the other watches and now you get some new colors.
I think it's so much restraint on this, but like we so often see brands change something and they change a lot. They improve some things and then they ruin some things. And I think it was so smart of them to just let's take everything people liked about it. Let's improve just these few simple sticking points that some people had or areas we saw he could do better, but not fundamentally change the model that's been the best selling one. It's kind of what Rolex does, except even Rolex does some more radical things. But I think this was a really smart update. And I can't imagine there's a single person who's looking at these updates for the S-39 and saying, why did they do that? Yep, I mean, $1800. So, right there in the same price point, you know. Exactly. Same price point maybe it went up like a hundred bucks or something like that. I don't know, but like, you know, it's a negligible amount if that all. And you know, this could have been one of those things where they use this as an excuse to just jack it up. Several hundred bucks arbitrarily. They didn't well done to them. I think this is like a great way to do
and what would otherwise be a non-exciting generational sort of line extension. But I think this was done in a really well considered manner. Yeah, the four mix are proper. Are they still? And they still the brand. So I think sort of five years ago, maybe even longer than that now, you were looking at Oris and going, yeah, you guys are just in the sweet spot of being popular, well, niche, nicely priced, but not cheap to cheap to feel like a real micro brand. If somebody just happened to batch that, I think from these conversations, it's good Christopher War because they're producing their mass production away that some of these other brands are. I think four mix is currently sitting where Oris probably sat four or five years ago. I think there was a wee risk recently, some of the newer models where they took a big swing, so higher prices.
Possibly two to the mint is some dangerous points, the area, which is six and a half grand, with it or as movement, which I just I think it's one of the hornets with the horn, with the horned, with the horned, we're just think it doesn't suit what they're trying to do. But it's there, it's not broken the brand in the same way that or as I think when they went for their caliber 40, just kind of lost the direction a little bit. I think they're beginning to get it back. Well, they also increase the prices of the salita movements, model is quite a bit. And so all of Oris went up. I think having four mix introduced sort of these halo pieces like the area or a very premium execution of the essence ceramic. Yeah, it's a new price point for them. But within the context to what that watch is, it's also pretty affordable for like a full ceramic watch with the ceramic bracelet or like an in-house microtord movement. So like I think I think four mechs is still doing what they did of offering a
very compelling watch at a very fair price. But instead of just playing in that 2000, $1,000 to $2,000 spectrum, they're flexing their muscles a little bit and showing that they can compete in others. But these are really still the minority of their watches. They even have off catalog gem set stuff. If you want to go do a crazy diamond set, dial, mother, a pearl, sapphire bezel, four mechs, they'll do that. Reach out to them and they will do that for you. And it's surprisingly affordable for what you are having a bespoke gem set piece. But these are still the exceptions. If you look at the bread and butter, it's stainless TLS and says, you know, reefs, the field where it's like thousand bucks, non-cronomular certified titanium case. So I don't think they've abandoned that price point for those who had to appetite for the branded one to spend a little bit more money to get a higher level of timepiece. They're now offering that. But if you wanted to spend some $2,000 and get yourself a great Swiss made cronometer, I mean, there's
now more options than ever. Yeah, yeah. No, doing good things. And the essence case with those are probably with a high suscate of what's the best way to describe the system. So the gasoline case back sits within the outer framework of the lugs and it can move up and down. It was initially invented for shock protection purposes. But now the arguably the biggest benefit is it allows the actual watch to flex on your wrist. So if the bracelets fix diameter and that you don't open the extension, the case will actually move a little bit in the outer frame of its lugs. And if you flex your wrist, it makes it surprisingly comfortable. And it's just cool. The complexity of the case also helps warrant the price entirely. If this was a simple two part three part case. I was looking for a video of this one. Yeah, there you go. Yeah. So yeah, it faithfully works as micro adjustment, but on the fly just as you move. So if you're wrist expands a little bit
because you're warm, it will actually articulate ever so slightly. So it's just, it is just incredibly comfy. But I wish they were slightly bigger than 39. They got a 41 for you. 41. Yeah. But they are cool. They're very comfortable to wear. So and for 1800 quid, if you're looking for an entry level into a brand that's not your run of the mill, you aren't going to go wrong with having an ulket for mix. So go and check for mix out. Right, let's see what else on the website. Anything else worthy of speaking about? We had this shiny boulevard. I'm not sure how much you're aware of this. This is Sean's article who's obviously not here. Along with this, and boulevard shall be raised to a crew of bear metal brilliance with American racing style, setting aside whether there is such thing as
American racing style. I'm curious about this finish on the watch. What do we think? It's mirror polished. Yeah, mirror polished everything. I quite like it. It's kind of how lasting is it? Is it just going to be ruined within three months? I mean, probably, but like, I think a cool thing about a mirror finish is sort of like a lot of things. A couple scratches doesn't look great, but once it accrues, it kind of looks cool. My one sticking point, it's a cool watch, but my one sticking point on this one is it's a pretty busy watch with the number of like markings and just indexes everything on it, attack a meter scale, everything. And that's sort of detract from the mirror finish. The isotope mercury watch they did with revolution. Again, all mirror polished mirror dial, but it's so minimal that it really gives you sort of that like liquid metal mirrored concept. And so this one, it's really cool. Obviously massive
fingerprint magnet, but it is a striking watch. It's a big chunky chronograph mirror dial, mirror case, mirror bracelet with some brushed accents. So it's loud. It's definitely a visually loud piece. And $1400 quartz, I think, yes. Quartz, I believe, $1400, I bet it is. Yeah, I'm going to pile in NP-20 quartz, 206, 2.14 hertz, you can see. So, 1.10th, sub dial. So, yeah, busy watch, interesting, you know how actually legible it is, or if in the sunshine, maybe a legible over here, but in the sunshine of California, whether it's like putting your own school and used to chase the mirror image on the wall round to book your teacher, whether it just be shading a bright light into your face, and retain you try to look
at it. It's pretty legible, the way they finished the hands kind of open work and the solid snaling on the registers. It's pretty legible, but where it could not, I've never seen this watch outdoor at bright sunlight. This could be an instance where it catches the glare and you just can't see anything for the next five minutes, because it's just properly blinded you. So, while it's legible, I think glare could be an issue. Yes. So it'll be just to see if fact, does it, is that why the catch on the style is, you know, mirror finish. There's the, the Bulgaria altifniti with Sijima addition, just simply one of the coolest watch I've ever made. Anybody else famous for making watches with a complete mirror finish like that? Can't. Thank you, Vanny. Vanny, may it sprint to mind that are mirror finish? Just that, Sijima, one. And thinking you're there's some, there's plenty of fully high polish watches, but I'm trying to
think of some with also mirror finish dials. I think maybe AP might have done one, but then again, the case might have been in brush and it's just the dial. So, well, this is maybe, this will be give you a bit of a shine. Finally, this week at the URRK, we are one thousand one amideus, a hand-grief poppy watch with a millennium tracker. Okay, you've reviewed this. So as huge, it looks like a Star Trek communicator. Yeah, it's massive. So this is the same basic watch that they've done previously as pocket watches and in that crazy wrist mounted device, which are all reviewed, that's linked in the article. This is a piece unique. It's the same movement, although its titanium case has just been fully, fully engraved in this crazy broke style. It's a massive pocket watch. The previous version came with this strange wrist mounted sort of thing you could clip it into and it looked like a, I mean,
bigger than a dive computer. But it's a pretty interesting watch. It's an annual calendar. So the first side of the watch gives you Erwurks, rotating satellite display retrograde minutes. There's a secondary satellite that gives you the months that rotate on the blocks and it indicates the date. And then you have a power reserve indicator. On the back side, when you open it up, you have an oil change indicator, which basically it's a five-year tracker that lets you know when your five-year service intervals coming up. You also have a century counter, which counts 100-year increments. And every 100 years, it notches up the linear millennium tracker, which moves once every 100 years over the course of a thousand years. So it's very complex. This one has just a, you know, months of hand engraving that has gone into it. And while previous ones have
been very technical sci-fi looking gadgets, this sort of pairs that same display with a much more ordinate classical Baroque appearance. And again, it's a piece unique. So if you don't like it, yeah, you're not buying it. I'm showing on the screen the previous tie. Do you know if it fits the strap? I don't know. I don't think so. If you want to turn it into bondage equipment, I'm sure there's a way. I mean, that was a crack and strut. If you need to look at the pictures, you can see this. I'm called by Bond. I've got to. Yeah, yeah, I'll get to. Yeah. But I do like a bunstrap. But this takes it to another level. That's very cool. I don't sure quite how you put it on. The first, you probably just since the case itself is done a bit differently. And they've engraved the side. So I doubt it would mount in. And they made no indication that a chain comes with it for the grand six figure price that they're asking. But I'm sure they could solve that for you.
I'm sure they could do something. So yeah, no, very cool. And the piece unique is the same much as going to be. Yes, it does. There is a price. Let's say he's going to be 561,000. How do you make a piece unique? That's 561,000 dollars. Like, what number have they rounded in Swiss Franks to get you the 61,000 dollars, as opposed to 560 or 600,000 dollars? There's only one of them. It does straight away. It's an unusual price for a piece unique. A 30 meters more to resist. It's 450,000 Swiss Franks. That's what gives you the 61. That's right. Okay. So there you go. So that price may change as the dollar continues to do what the dollar is not doing. Well, that was the value given to me by the brand. So they gave me, they gave me both. And I'm assuming they looked at it and said,
well, we're selling it now because there's only one of these. So this was the conversion. I think, I think, I think it would be fun to hold them to that price in three weeks time. See, how much difference it is in the conversion. So, for me as well, I would love for someone to buy this and let us try the water resistance on it. So there you go. That is our watches for this week. What is happening this coming week? Geneva watch days that starting just finishing. Can't remember just starting. Just starting. So the boys are in hotels having very expensive breakfast. Are they staying together? No, I don't think so. I mean, I think I'm making fun documentary. You might be spending a week with Ariel. I think we should be. I think group house. Well, I think we should. Geneva just get a giant shadow. The whole blog to watch team can be there.
I heard some camera crews to just film it. I think that has made it. You know, I think there are some weirdos out there that would watch that. And we all wear leather jackets. Lettuce. The only thing is, all you're allowed to wear is leather and all stuff comes out and sees leather pants. Everything's got to be in a bunge. Maximum black German leather is what is required. So there we go. If somebody has a shuttle, I think it would be suitable for that in Geneva, then please reach out and we'll give you the exclusive range to sell to each view. Some some mupper online, you know, each viewer, Disney plus, what would you rather be on? East viewer, Disney plus. I mean, both of these are pretty respectable. If you want to go really bad, there's like Bravo, TLC. Yeah, take HBO. Yeah, for sure. Disney plus fine. Both of these are fine. This is bonus. It's in the charts. Got it. They are blocked to watch campervan. There we go.
Oh, yeah. We can just find a way to stash that over in Geneva too and just like the watch. Yeah, yeah. I've got a box that can sleep six. So we could do that. But in the back, where the horses normally are, humans are horses. No, six humans. It holds four horses and six humans. But in the back, you turn that into our studio. So you just be in amongst the horse paraphernalia, but there's lots of leather on the plus side. There's saddles. So I know you have Lamborghini tractors. Do you have any of Hermes horse paraphernalia? No, you see Hermes horse paraphernalia is like what Rolex is to the watch world. It's it's yeah, that if you're really what you would in the horse world is the FP June of horse paraphernalia, which is some entirely different brands. Well, Hermes isn't really considered. It makes a great watch for every day. It's hard to get worse paraphernalia. I know
they have their hands. They're really coveted. But like if you need a saddle from those guys and you go to road day when they're like, Hey, here's the deal. Yeah, but that's a yeah, but that's a American saddles. Oh, God. There's two different kinds of horse shaped can of words. And you've always got this thing where to tell I'm not I'm trying not to put these words into your mouth. So when if you were to go on an adventure today and involve the horse, what would you describe to your friends that you're going to go and do? I'm going to a horse race. No, no, but if you're going to participate and actually get on the horse and to tell around on the horse, what would you tell your friends you're going to do? I'm going to go ride a horse. Yeah, but other as I understand it, okay, I'll get to the point of this. I don't understand it. You call you call that horseback riding. Yeah. As opposed to horse riding.
You've had in this horseback thing as if there's another bit of the horse you can ride. You go horse that we just go horse riding. We go horseback riding because you don't ride on your necks or on your heads. You ride on their backs. So that's just what you're going to go into. But in America, you call horseback riding. Well, you call things pin badges and that seems redundant. It's either a pin or a badge. Well, a pin badge is a different thing. This is a big shark thing. Well, you just call those pins or badges. How are you attaching a badge if not with the pin? It's fair enough. The point being that, yeah, you wouldn't buy you idol think a knowledgeable utopian horsey person would buy an Hermes saddle. If you want a good saddle, you go to saddle maker who just makes you one from scratch, basically, it fits you and it fits the horse. So there you go. That's the list today.
A saddle fit. I think it's just what you'll tune that for. No doubt. But yeah, don't go for cheap Hermes. Is there a panoreste version of saddle enthusiasts like ones who make saddles out of like every one of gods. Every type of that. No, I don't believe. I've been tracing questions. I've never thought about it. It's stingray. It's alligator. It's ostrich. That is something worthy of investing. I don't know if you can buy saddles made out of exotic weather. I've never come across that. But I will ask a person and ask if they've ever heard of that. Thank you. You're Tuesday morning rabbit hole to go down. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Right. Well, thank you. I'm gonna say, what are you? Are you sitting on the watch a lot for new stuff coming out to neither watch days? No, I mean, yes, but like, you know, we have we've covered some things under embargo. There's a lot of things we want to cover as a hands-on review. I've got quite a few hands-on to complete here while I enjoy wearing
this u-blow. Yeah, it's cool. It's nice. It's nice. The pin badge to be has been blown wide open. A pin badge is a badge with a pin as opposed to a badge without a pin, which is a sticky one. That's just called a sticker. Exactly. So I think we're dividing into videos categorically so you're a sticky one. That's a sticker. A sticker. A sticker. But a badge is a badge whereby it's like a round thing, probably made of plastic. And the badge is parallel to the body that you have putting it on. You're gonna put it in a minute. Like say, where's a pin badge? Is paraphernal deck you'll have to your body? You're stopping yourself for the pin badge. You're not laughing. Americans also need explicit instructions. If we didn't call it horseback riding, we might have had some bearing on this. Yes. Okay. I'm prepared to accept that as a reason why it's finished.
Okay, thank you all very much today for taking the chat. Some of us will see. I don't know, I see if it was back next week. I don't know. Maybe they're not. Maybe they're not so far. I don't know. We'll be. He was talking about something in my work. He's got to go to his leather jacket manufacturers and that doggie of Spain. We sell in badges and knock off Rolex. He's down the beach in Marbella when he's on the jacket. We'll leave him to that. So it might just be the dream team riplay myself and David next week. We're all we will do next week. It's prepared with us. David, if you're listening, I do. It's not here. It's just lists, lists after all. We're only speaking him lists. So get ready for that. And our list will be more nebulous than the GPHG's categories. Oh, GPHG categories. We need to do something as a live event on GPHG surely. It's an event that
deserves live commentary. I think we should publish rules for a GPHG drinking game and everyone can play along. Okay. But I will have to put some thought in because some of the initial ones, you just might not make it like past the first category. Like drink if you don't understand why the watch won. You know, like annoying Frenchman speaking French. They're trying to host an award show that is trying to pube to the whole world. Yeah. Okay. Right. Anyway, that's it for us. See you later. Bye. Bye everyone.
