Kayla Sanchez is a two-time Olympic medalist from Canada. She is a brilliant 50/100/200 freestyler that is an intricate component of Canada's relays.

Born in Singapore to Filipino parents, she moved to Canada at just 1 years old. She's not the tallest but most times the fastest. In 2018, she set the World Junior Record in the 50 Freestyle going 23.94!    

Most recently she won 3 SC World Championship relay titles in Abu Dhabi and just wrapped up Season 4 with the Toronto Titans.   

Kayla will now represent the Thunderbirds at the University of British Columbia, as she makes the move to Vancouver to study & swim.
