If you're hunched over your phone with your magnifying glass out, organizing a conference call with ten of your girlfriends at once, and desperately trying to untangle whether the person you're "talking to" wants to be in a relationship with you…

He doesn't.

I say this with so much love: if you have to do this, you aren't actually confused at all about how he feels. You know he isn't interested in having a relationship…you just don't like that answer.

Desire is not ambiguous. Desire is CLEAR. Desire is BOLD. Desire doesn't dither in the background waiting its turn.
