214: Tracks & Armament

H&K lovers rejoice! Nathan and part-time co-host Evan are joined today by Flandre from Tracks & Armament – a firearms retailer specializing in clones of weapons like the UMP, MP5, G36, 416, and more.

Flandre details her company’s start in picking up where Tommybuilt left off by bringing several H&K products to the US market, as well as T&As initial ventures into providing armored vehicles for film projects (most notably S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of the Zone). They also cover the struggles of working with indie films made by non-gun-people, clout-chasers, toxic communities, and the bait-and-switch nature of marketing in the gun space.

It’s not all doom and gloom, as Flandre expands on her passion for videography and the origin of the Mugi-chan YouTube channel, her experience getting *the* first Tommybuilt MP7, and the troubled development of the B&T TP9 – that’s not including the rest of her surprising collection of post-sample toys.
