#2. Arsenal Making Smart Moves in the Market.

In this episode I discuss Arsenal’s transfer news and threads. Arsenal are close to signing two youngsters (Lokonga & Tavares) in what I believed to be smart and shrewd moves. I share thoughts on Arsenal’s approach to this transfer window and what I respect about their intent. The way Arsenal has been focusing on young talent within the club and recruiting young players without reputations has been encouraging. Ben White is an interesting investment opportunity. A player than contribute now but still has nit reached his ceiling. They have their work cut out for them when it comes to negotiating outgoings with the likes of Torreira and Guendouzi wanted by clubs who seemingly can’t meet Arsenal’s asking price. Young players released permanently and on loan. The project has me fascinated and won’t be making judgements at every turn but it’s exciting to observe how the club seem to be learning from errors of recent times by protecting the value of players and using the loan system in an improved way.
