諸学の基礎は哲学にあり
井上 円了（いのうえ えんりょう、安政5年2月4日(1858年3月18日） – 大正8年(1919年）6月6日）は、仏教哲学者、教育者。
哲学というと難解な近寄りがたい感じがするが、先入観や偏見にとらわれることなく、物事の本質に迫ることであり、また自らの問題として深く考えることだろう。その延長線上に社会の問題・課題に主体的に取り組む行為が出てくる。哲学することなしに、つまり自らの問題として本質に迫ることなしに、学問は成り立たない。だから、諸学の基礎は哲学なのだ。
