山本 周五郎（やまもと しゅうごろう、1903年（明治36年）6月22日 – 1967年（昭和42年）2月14日）は、日本の小説家。
10年という年月は長い。途中で環境も変わるし、興味も変化していく。内外ともに移ろっていく。この中で軸足を定めてただひたすらに技を磨いていくのは生やさしいことではない。しかしそれをやっていかねばどうにもならないのは確かだ。
