6. 狗拿耗子,多管闲事;Gǒu ná hàozi, duō guǎn xiánshì ;a dog who catches mice; to be meddlesome (idiom)

7. 子不嫌母丑,狗不嫌家贫;Zi bù xián mǔ chǒu, gǒu bù xián jiā pín;A son never thinks his mother ugly,and a dog never shuns its owner's home however shabby it is.
