1. 狗急跳墙;Gǒujítiàoqiáng; a cornered dog will jump over the wall (idiom) to be driven to desperate action

2. 狗改不了吃屎；Gǒu gǎi bùliǎo chī shǐ； a dog can't stop himself from eating shit (idiom) fig. bad habits are hard to change

3. 狗嘴里吐不出象牙；Gǒu zuǐ lǐ tǔ bu chū xiàngyá；no ivory comes from the mouth of a dog (idiom) no good words are to be expected from a scoundrel

4. 狗眼看人低；Gǒu yǎnkàn rén dī；to behave like a snob (towards others)

5. 嫁鸡随鸡，嫁狗随狗；Jià jī suí jī, jià gǒu suí gǒu；if you marry a chicken follow the chicken, if you marry a dog follow the dog (idiom)

6. 狗拿耗子，多管闲事；Gǒu ná hàozi, duō guǎn xiánshì ；a dog who catches mice; to be meddlesome (idiom)

7. 子不嫌母丑，狗不嫌家贫；Zi bù xián mǔ chǒu, gǒu bù xián jiā pín；A son never thinks his mother ugly,and a dog never shuns its owner's home however shabby it is.
