I'm Dan Morgan. I'm an attorney and a managing partner at Morgan and Morgan, which is America's largest injury law firm. That's pretty awesome. I think I saw Billboard years recently that said 20 billion won. 20 billion is an insane number. Yeah, 20 billion recovered. It's actually, I think, somewhere north, probably closer to 22, 23 after this year. And each year we get bigger and better and our army grows. So the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on. Awesome. So how does someone get in contact with Morgan and Morgan? What would I do if I got into an accident? Probably the easiest way is dialing pound law. That's pound five two nine from your cell phone. We are always open. Our call center is always waiting to take your call. 24-7-365. Wow, Dan Morgan. From Morgan and Morgan, America's largest injury law firm. Thanks for coming by the show. Thanks for having me. Visit forthepeople.com for an office near you. Stop, leave bail. Batting third in center field. Jim Wynn. Batting fourth and playing first base.
Doug Raider. Batting fifth and playing right field. Rusty stop. Batting sixth and playing third base. Bob Aspermone. Batting seventh and left field. Aaron Pointer. Batting eighth and catching. Dave Adless. And the picture weight-blasting game. Batting ninth. He asked those of winning the first ball game now have one sixty four ball games this year. They have lost eighty nine. And I'm winning that first ball game. They have placed the overall series between the Astros and Metts. They have one 10 out 15 games played for the total of three more to come along this year. For the New York Metts, Metts changed in their line up considerably. The lead off battle will be the right field or Amos Otis. Batting second and playing first base. Ed Crainville. Batting third and playing second base. Bob Johnson. Batting fourth and playing left field. Tom Heddon. Batting fifth and playing. Rusty stop. Jerry Boutchak. Batting sixth and playing third base. Joe Bout. Batting seventh and playing center field. John Bott. Batting eighth and catching. Jerry Goody. And the picture. Joe Madraw. Batting ninth.
And now the New York Metts have taken the field. That's them a record of fifty seven wins and ninety five losses. And this game. The second game of a four game series. Tomorrow the Metts take on the Astros in a single night game at eight o'clock. The starting pictures will be Tom SEMA for the Metts going for his sixties win. He has won more games than any other Metts pitcher in any single year. He has a record of fifteen and draw. And the Astros will be going with Dave Jutty who has won eleven to last fifteen. Then the final game of the year here in Chase stadium on Sunday. The Metts in a single game at two o'clock. And that will close out the 1967 season here in New York City. Right here we're all set to go. And the second game of this double header and Tommy Davis who held up the first ball game for a three ball. He went in from left field to the dugout. And now it's coming out late as we have been ready for him to strike the second ball game. Here in the background for Tommy as we appeared on the field. And it's now trotting out the left field. We have a Metts out there waiting.
Lead off better for the Houston Astros. Julio Gochai right hand battery. Do not play in the first ball game. He takes the next delivery low on its one and one. That'll be Julio Gochai, Lee Bales and Jim Wynn for Tommy McGraw. Jim must be the coach of third. Now he's got some coaches first. Now I'll pick back in and call strike two. One ball and two strikes. The umpires bring just a land behind home plate. Jim Landis is at first base. Ed Vargo at second base. Dan Landis I could say at first base. Now we're swinging on this strike three. And Doug McGraw on the fact off strike out the first man of the game. Along with Ed Vargo at second base we have Augie Donatelle in the umpire at third. And we pause now for station identification. This is a New York match base ball network. That's really playing a sparing game, Harry. All right, Jim? You're on WGWite and on your dial connected. Dropkinder along with Lindsay Nelson and Bob Murphy from
J Stadium in Flushing, New York. And the first pick to Lee Bales who was one before in the first ball game is taken low. It's ball. New back. Between games here, the double header. It was a parade of banners. I don't know how many they had. But it had to be in the thousands. Graded through from center field into home waiting in a roundout by third and first. Quite a sight and really a lot of fun to see the kids out here and some lot of adults too with banners marching on by some beautiful banners. One ball, one strike. Bales back up to the plate. And the pitch by McGraw, curve ball, and hangs up too high. Two balls, one strike. Doug McGraw's most singular accomplishment was when he beat
Saddy Kofak and that was the best and first win and that's ever had overstanding. Now the left header into the wind up and the pitch back to the plate is a high fat ball off the glove of Gary Grote. That puts the count of three and one. That's that Gary Grote catching at first base head drain bowl at second base. Bob Johnson at struck top, Gary Buchek at third base. Joe MOOC. Tommy Davis in left field. Don Bach in center field. The name is Alderson Wright. Now the next pitch is fine. It's ball four and he has those out there. First base runner as Lee Vales walks. Now it's won away here in the top of the first. The battle will be Jim Wynn in the center fielder. It has 37 home runs, 105 runs better than he's betting 256 and the first game he was one for five. Dan's with a close dance.
Dan's very much like Willie Mays at the play. Where's his number number 24? Now a big curveball breaking in at all strikes. Hank Aaron leads the national league in home runs with 38. A throw to first base. Crane ball takes the throw in the dirt. No chance for a tag. Vales back easy. McGraw was on the pitching rubber. He stepped off and then fake the throw to first base. Now he sets up in the fix to the plate. It's grounded out through a short stop. Too slow for two. They get the fourth play at second base and no throw as Bob Johnson has to jump over. Lee Vales made a hard slide into second base. He had no chance for the double play. Jim Wynn can slide on that line. So the match run the first play with Wynn taking over at first base. That picked up their second out. That brings up the first baseman. Doug Raider. Doug in the first ballgame was over four.
Right hand batter hitting 346 and 43 games. And the first pitch is in for a call strike. Jim Wynn at first base has 15 stolen bases. He's been throwing out three times. He draws another throw. We're in the top of the first inning of the second game. The first game won by the Astros eight nothing. Now the garage comes to the plate. And the pitch is a screw ball that is over the outside corner called strike two. Doug has developed a change of pace that he turns over and it breaks down on the way for the right hand batter. But you did not have what he was up here last year in the major league. Goes the screw ball for a change up. He has a good big curve ball.
His best pitch. And a fast ball. Now he looks at first base and comes to the plate. And the pitch is flowing on him. That's strike three. And again, the turn over on the fastball and that requires a sign. No one, no hit to walk. This drag out the man left at first base and the short the end of the first half. The Astros nothing and that's coming up. They're all here and they're all at Armory garage. Central at Carlton and Albany. The brand new Imperial Chrysler and Plymouth cars for 1968 are really automotive leaders. So stop in and see the stars. There's a five and six this year. He was three and seven with the braves last year. He was traded to the Astros for Claude Raymond who went to the braves. Gensometti's won one last none this year. His neck delivery is high but it swung on. And he can now one and two. Lifetime against Cometti has the best record of any pitcher who has not lost to the match. He has one six or lost none.
Don Drysdale has one more games against the match. He has one twenty one and lost three. One two pitch is taken in the dirt. It's two balls and two strikes. After Amos Otis that grain ball and Bob Johnson. Jogi bearer the coach at first base. Sully Parker the coach at third and the next pitch is in the dirt. It bounces away in the count full now. Three balls and two strikes. In the second game of the double header Boston now without a run. Baltimore coming up. Jose Santiago against feed record. Boston has yet to score a run in the double header. They lost the first game ten to nothing. And they have dropped out of first place. Minnesota and running took over first. Now the next pitch is outside ball floor and the match has their first man on. That brings up any grain ball. At the end of three and a half and he's craving one.
The white dog's nothing. Feeders and Tiant the opposing pitcher. In the second game of the double header it's no score after one. Roll it and very more of the opposing pitcher. Detroit won the first game eight to three. As Wilson got his twenty second win. Ed Crainball the better he was one for four in the first game and the first pick is hit down by the first place when I hit one play. Amazone is going to third and Crainball says it first. So a walk and one hit and the next job runner is the first and third. And Ed Crainball now is in an eight consecutive ball games and that brings up Bob Johnson with no one out in the bottom half of the first. Bob Johnson is not playing the first ball game. He's betting three thirty nine and eighty six games with five home runs and twenty five runs that it in. Crainball before the hit was betting two seven. Tell a red to care from twenty three eleven racing.

It's going good, man. Tell us who you are and what you do. I'm Dan Morgan. I'm an attorney and a managing partner at Morgan Morgan, which is America's largest injury law firm. That's pretty awesome. I think I saw Billboard years recently that said that twenty billion one. Twenty billion is insane number. Yeah, twenty billion recovered. It's actually I think somewhere north probably closer to 22, 23 after this year.
Twenty four seven three sixty five. Wow, Dan Morgan. From Morgan and Morgan, America's largest injury law firm. Thanks for coming by the show. Thanks for having me. Visit forthepeople.com for an office near you. Twenty three. And now blasting game with the first pitch to Bob Johnson. The right hand batter. It's blowing inside ball one. Dave Adley to catch your four. The actress. Doug greater is at first base. Rainbow being held there. And the left hander back and the pitch is taken high in the way. It's ball two. Two balls no side. Who do you'll go die as that second base? The short shot is leaveale.
The third base from Bob Aframani. Aaron Borner and Luffy O's. Jim Wrenon centerfield and rusty job and right. Two balls no strike. Bobby came back in the picture. It's fouled back out of the way. That's put to that two balls in one. When boy and outside left field a good breeze here at J Stadium on a cool evening. Now the left hander sets again and comes back again in the picture's high. A hard fastball. That's the three balls one strike. That's the three balls one strike.
Thanks God in field has been played back. And now the pitch to Johnson and it's in the hole. The deep short shot knocked out by leaveale. 100 to catch for the first run of the day. For the New York matches, Amos Otis and the Mexican lead won nothing on the one that it is by Bob Johnson in twenty six this year. Born down his second base ahead of the play. Eddie Crain Bull. Now that brings up Tommy Davis as runners at first and second and no one out here in the modern half of the first. Tommy was all for three in the first game is average at three oh five. And watching game was his first fish to Davis and it's lower inside ball one.
Now the ball is ringing in the dugout and on out to the bullpen and we're getting some action in the bullpen for the Astros. First three batters have reached. And Tommy Davis batting with a count of one ball and no strike. All day batters are given the message to warm up by manager Grady Abbey of the Astros. Batty game once again sets. There's pitch back to Tommy Davis's foul line. Well the count had one ball and one strike. Tommy did not play in the full game of the first game. After the Astros at a big read he was wrested by manager Saldy Parker who is going to run the ball but now the rest of him has become for the rest of the season. One ball one strike and the pitch. Change of almost over the top of the goal ball.
Dave Adelish the catchers. Five balls one strike. Blasting game hasn't pitched the ball game since July 26th. He's been bothered by a soul short soldier and I'm going to get that all followed. That's a word I never could say. Shoulder a bad arm. He's throwing hard here tonight. Next pitch back as high and it's ball three three balls one strike. Blasting game joined signs of not having worked off of this control. Bunched out in front of the plate before delivering the ball back to the pitcher. And three and one no one out runners at first and second. I run in in the bottom half of the first. Once again Adelish sends the sign. And Blasting game what's the pick? It's here in the right here in the base. It's on the third base. He's being dead in. Let's just stop fires of our home.
Bainful sides and he is out. And Bob Johnson plays the second base on the play at the plate. So the next move is the run on the base. The right center field by David. Has to get their first out on the base and then that's now have runners at first and second. And the batter is Jerry Bojack. Jerry Bojack played shortstop in a lot of part of the game in the first game. He was one for two. And he's playing shortstop in this game. Big play at the plate. The throw by it. Rusty Stauber's right on the note. Big play behind the play was Bob Johnson that going to third. Now the first fish to Jerry Bojack.
And it's one run straight one. The passing game is flowing down the face. I'm like, now get set and his fish back to Bojack is in the third. A breaking ball. It's one ball once tried. Jerry Bojack's batting two thirty nine with eleven home runs and thirty two runs battled in. Tommy Davis with that single with train bull in second base was betting for his 74th RBI. He could he get it on the fine throw by Rusty Stauber. Rusty has a good heart. The one one pitch is over the inside corner. Paul strike two on the play at the plate. Technically, if Johnson had gone the third, it would set up the fact for Tommy Davis to go on down the second. And the match would not have lost their base position. And he's going to have to go on the third.
And he's going to have to go on the third. He's going to have to go on the third. Their base position even though they had enough on the play. One ball to strike. And the pitch. It is it out the second base. A good shot for two goes die over the bail. So go on the first base. The rate is in time. A double play in the inning. The next goal one run on three hits. There were no errors. And one man was left on and the score at the end of one. The next one, the out throw is up. The final day of the season. You're a chase stadium. The last home game will be Sunday afternoon. One day after tomorrow in the New York match, take on the Houston Astros. And that will be fan appreciation day. Every fan, every boy, every girl, man or woman. You're a chase stadium that day will receive an attractive net.
Family hat. It's orange and blue. They met colored with white piping. And also as they meet met emblem. The cap will get all excited. And so if you come out to the ballpark on Sunday afternoon on fan appreciation day. You'll receive an attractive net family hat. And every member of the family will receive one. The match will finish up on Sunday and then go on the road. Playing three games in San Francisco and four in Los Angeles. The season finale will be for the match this year in Los Angeles. On Sunday afternoon, October 1st. Right here, we're going to the top half of the second inning and coming in once again for the play-by-play of Ralph Cain. Okay, Lincoln. Now it's the one nothing game the match in front. And Doug McGraw, who hits the first inning, hits the four batter. Check out two in lock one. Now getting set for the second.
His first man will be Crushy Saab, who had three hits and five times up in the first ball game. And this is fine throw that cut off a run in the first inning in the second ball game. Rusty batting 340, a left hand batter. This is five hundred and twenty first time to the play. Rusty is in a three-way tie with Nadia Lu and Tony Gonzalez for second in the batting race in the national league. Looks like the man is going to pick up his fourth batting title. Next fit to the plate after a strike is called a ball. One ball, one strike. Come any batting three fifty four this year. Now the pitch back called ball two, two balls, one strike.
The two runs which is I had it's ball three, three balls, one strike. Rusty's job has forty three, two base hits. He leads the national league in F for the department and leads. Come any was thirty six. He has a club record of a hundred seventy seven hits in one season. Now the next pick is inside ball four. Sigmagraw walking here second man and walking to lead batter here in the second. That brings up Bob Astromanic. Bob was two for four in the first game his average down even three hundred. Five on runs and fifty five runs battered in. In the curve ball by McGraw breaks over a call strike. Tyler Reddick here from twenty three eleven racing. Another checkered flag for the books. Time to celebrate with Chamba. Jump in at chamba casino dot com.
Let's Chamba. No purchase necessary. BTW Group. Boyd we're prohibited by law CT and C. Twenty one plus sponsored by Chamba Casino. I've got Dan Morgan here on the pod. Say hi Dan. Hey, how's it going today? It's going good man. Tell us who you are and what you do. I'm Dan Morgan. I'm an attorney and a managing partner at Morgan Morgan, which is America's largest injury law firm. That's pretty awesome. I think I saw billboard years recently that said twenty billion one. Twenty million is insane number. Yeah, twenty billion recovered. It's actually I think somewhere north probably closer to twenty two twenty three after this year. And each year we get bigger and batter and our army grows. So the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on. Awesome. So how does someone do in contact with Morgan and Morgan? What would I do if I got into an accident? Probably the easiest way is dialing pound law. That's pound five two nine from your cell phone. We are always open. Our call center is always waiting to take your call twenty four seven three sixty five. Wow. Dan Morgan from Morgan and Morgan America's largest injury law firm.
Thanks for coming by the show. Thanks for having me. Visit forthepeople.com for an office near you. A draw back in the one strike pitch is high and it's one ball and one strike. And the grass very first appearance for them at this year. He retired the first ten batters. But then he got wild and lost the ball again. The one one pitch back to ask for money hit right back. It doesn't reply. It throws the second base of Bob Johnson was lost the ball. But he picked it up and stays on the bag and also tags out. What he's got that's losing a possible double play. But he's acting you're now that second base for the first out of the inning. Throw was a perfect throw to Bob Johnson. He was in the hurry to get it off the first and dropped it. Now the battery is Aaron corner of the left fielder.
Aaron batting 195 a right and batter and he takes the first pitch. It's all right. The banner day parade involved 3,700 people and involved 2,300. 17 banners. That's the place between games here tonight. Next pitch is in the dirt. A change of bounce about three feet in front of home plate. Lots nicely by Jerry Grote and the runner holds it first. Bob asked for money there. Now foul ball in the next delivery out of play on the right side. One ball to each side. Now that's one the Astros nothing. Let's have one one and three if the Astros have no runs and no it's going to have a letter at first base. Bob asked for money there as a result of hitting it into the fourth play after a walk to rescue time. At the end of two Boston nothing bottom or nothing Boston yet to score
run bottom or one the first game 10 to 0 in the double at it. At the end of one and a half and he's Detroit nothing Washington nothing. Now the next pitch is thrown on and missed and then the raw with that screw ball picking up a strikeout is third in the ball game. After a second out and it brings up the catcher Dave Adley. In that first game Detroit one overwatched an eight to three Chicago playing a Cleveland the single game at the end of four and a half and in Cleveland one Chicago nothing. And a 33 California nothing after three Hamilton knocked out of the box Simmons now pitching for the angel. First pitch the day of Adley just bounced in the dirt again about two feet in front of home plate and again blocked by Jerry Grote and Bob asked for money as to say it first.
Two minutes away in the half of the second. That's one the Astros nothing first game one by the Astros eight to nothing. And the next pitch is thrown on and fouled back. All hit against the screen again now one ball one strike. Dave Adley just batting one fifty one. He has been in thirty six previous ball games as one home run and three runs better than. Now McGraw ready and the pitch back is the screw ball that's outside two balls one strike. So McGraw's labeled screw ball is not a screw ball per say like Carl Hubble it's a turnover change up next pitch the line driving to the left center field of base it. I go for two after the money goes to third base I'm the less than the throw goes in the second base and it's in time as Tommy Davis gets it off. And now the Astros have runners at first and third and they're
very first base in the ball game that brings up the picture away blasting game. Wait as a good hitting picture. Blasting game a left hand batter stands with a cold stand. Got his first major league home run against the net. Well pitching for the Milwaukee Brage. And tag McGraw with runners at first and third working from the set position in the first pitches in the call strike. McGraw should equalize blasting game as he is a left hand but you're pitching to a left hand batter. We talk of pitchers and being good hitters as pitchers it's usually always against a pitcher who throws from the other side. Now the one strike delivery it's in the dirt low like a slight in the dirt one ball one strike.
I don't believe you can name a pitcher that was a hitter that ever hit real well against the pitcher who threw from the same side of the plate to pitch a bad out. Now pitch in the dirt bouncing away from Jerry Rudy coming in from first bases ball back to the money he's safe. The throw is on by cut McGraw but back up nicely by Joe and the runner at first base Dave Adley got down the second base and had to hold there. So on the wild pitch it's a tie ball game that scored out one to one. And although Jerry Grote had blocked three before that one was out in front of the plate again and it got away. The count on the pitcher weighs lasting games two balls one strike after having run now on one day.
At least with a short made a second and now the pitch back to the plate is swung on and fouled back against the three two balls to strike. Jerry Grote the signs out outfield very shallow in center field left and right and the pitch it is just outside it's ball three three balls to strike on deck batter the second baseman who do you go tie all right and batting three and two two minute away a runner and second the score one to one and the pitch at three two it didn't there a call strike three and every tie has a side four strikeout for a draw but the Astro side up the ball game scoring a run on one hit. There were no errors a wild pitch and one man was left at
second base and the score at the end of one and a half any the Astro's one the next one and now here's the word from Rangol. You found a high spot you see up in the shade what a day the lead back with a head is tall and part of that two in the back. So extra drive and stay with the clear the end of the lead and still have room for me so make it miss the beat. I'm going out of the bottom half of the second inning the score tied one to one and that's coming up and the first batter will be Joe move the third base.
Joe left and batter former all around athlete and LSU and the first pitch by way blasting game that's going on and popped up on the third base side that's the money right near his third base position moves back and makes the catch for the out so flashing game gets an out on one pitch and we pause now for station identification this is the New York net baseball network. Do you think the mess can do it Harry strike bill here on W. G. White and on your dial and they could be New York. Well kinder along with Lindsay Nelson and Bob Murphy from Shay Stadium the score tied one to one first game one by the Astro's eight to nothing and now the batter for the next is John by the first pitch it's in there for a call strike bosses batting right handed against the left and his average one fifty five watching game back in the picture swung on in foul tip strike two.
Astro's one run on one hit the match that one run and three. Now blasting game back again and the pitch is down low one and two ball drop by the catcher Dave adnish and pick right up again. Blasting game takes the signs goes into the lineup kicks and comes back again and this time low again bouncing the ball off the plate to all two strikes Frank does a line has to go out and dust off the plate the home plate on fire at first base Dan Lennon's the second base Ed Vargo at third base. Augie Donatelle. Now the two two fits and it's one on MS strike three and blasting game gets his first strikeout and that's his second out here in the bottom half of the second that brings up the
catcher Jerry Grody. Washing bat in one time in the first game of the Finch hitter and had struck out. Now Jerry Grody comes up. He was all for two in the first game. He played the first part and Greg Houston came on to finish up once the match got behind. First pictures high a hard high fastball. It's ball one. Tyler Redick here from twenty three eleven racing victory Lane yeah it's even better with Chumba by my side race to Chumba Casino dot com let's Chumba don't purchase necessary VTW group boy we're prohibited by law CT and C's 21 plus sponsored by Chumba Casino. I'm an attorney and a managing partner at Morgan Morgan which is America's largest injury law firm. That's pretty awesome. I think I saw billboard years recently that said twenty
billion one twenty million insane number. Yeah twenty billion recovered. It's actually I think somewhere north probably closer to twenty two twenty three after this year and each year we get bigger and better and our army grows. So the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on. Awesome. So how does someone do in contact with Morgan Morgan? What would I do if I got to an accident probably the easiest way is dialing pound law. Now blasting game back in the one older lever. It's one on a mid one ball one strike. Now the signs are out and the pitch comes back in and it
gains curve is way up and outside it's two balls and one strike. I'm not up there in your back at two one and the pitch is fouled out of place. Two balls two strikes two minutes bottom half of the second and one one ball game and the pitch back is grounded fouls on the left side to Saudi Parker who is coaching the third base. He is ready to walk up one of the cute things we saw out here among the twenty three hundred seventeen banners that they showed was one that said well success foil. Saudi Parker now two to the pitch it is high and it's ball
three three balls to strike. All he is going to run the ball club for the rest of the season and that's it he prefers to be a coach and wants to stay in the major leagues as a coach. He played eleven games in the major league in his major league career now it's ringing the strike three and a one two three inning for weight blasting game with two strikeouts and the score at the end of one and a half inning the Astros one at the end of two and he's probably the Astros one the next one. Going out of the top of the third the Astros one the next one and the lead off better for the Astros coming up. I don't know what that was Lindsey but looking over to our left side big sheet of paper there's some wind blowing here the pool with the top of the television where Bob Murphy's doing the ball game and if that was his score sheet he's in trouble.
I saw Murphy just out of the mood. Now the first pitch to go tie has popped up and any rainfall has a shot at it in foul territory and he makes again. The guy had struck out his first time up he's old for two now that in two eighty four. Never have that happen to you Lindsey doing a football game or a baseball game a loser's score sheet. I've had it happen at golf tournament where you had everything died and the whole thing blew away and it gets interesting and then on you got to add live pretty crazy. Now the batter is Lee Bale but he takes the first pitch by Chai McGraw and it's all the ball. Lee walked his first time up one for four in the first ball game the raises average to one forty three. Lee has only played in 16 ball games now the right hand batter who is a switchitter strong and foul tip the next bitch is one ball and one strike. Well we know the banner numbers the banner parade
grand prize number twenty when spring comes the next ball halivision would you believe first division now a foul ball hit back over the top and he got one ball and two strikes. This banner was also a winner of more than two division. In the bottom half of the third a check swing in the ground ball hit out toward first base rainfall has it throws him a rock covering for the out second out of the any in a bottom half of the third bottom or scored two runs and the two run double by Kurt Bluffery and they have taken the lead in that second game to the nothing after three. Any hour go and record first game ball the more knocked Boston out of first place winning him and nothing. In the summer twins beat the eighties eight to two they are in first place no matter what happens tonight. Jim win the batter. Jim hit into a fourth play his first time up one
after four in the first game and his average is two fifty five thirty seven home runs in the first bits by time across inside he has to move away. The one o'clock is down low and it's two balls no strike. When spring comes a match will have a vision if you believe first division. The grand prize here better night now a hard swing and a miss two balls one strike. Jim wins fitting all the way around in the back slipping out of his hand dropping behind him. Jim wearing number twenty four and hitting a lot of time. In the infield the second baseman Bob Johnson
white on the bag and making the get to retire the time. For the first time one two three against the after and the score at the end of two and a half and the actual one the match one. They're all here and they're all at Armory garage central at call for an Albany the brand new imperial Chrysler and Plymouth cars for nineteen sixty eight are really automotive leaders. So stop in and see the stars. There's imperial the crown imperial and the most luxurious of them all the imperial the barren and then there's Chrysler with a New Yorker three hundred custom newport newport and town and country wagon. You'll see all the new limit the fury sports fury VIP and the new sports fury wagon. There's also the sporty barracuda and the economical valiant and valiant signant models. It's the biggest opening selection in armories forty nine year history. So don't miss the excitement at central and Calvin in Albany where Armory garage the largest
Chrysler Plymouth dealer in the northeast has taken the wraps off the breathtaking lineup for nineteen sixty eight. Going out of the bottom half of the third to mess her up in the first batter against way flashing game who has given up one run and three it will be time to draw the picture for the match who has given up one run and one hit. Doug coming up as batter twice before this year. He's over two. All the paid attention today thirteen thousand three hundred forty two three thousand one hundred seventy seven million met. The battered eight participants thirty seven hundred and nine the total twenty thousand eight hundred and fifty two. And the first fish to Chuck McGraw in front of the twenty thousand crowd is inside ball one.
Now the next fish it down the line is going to be a basic. I was going for two but I had that he might have a play the third second not in time as it drives in the second. I'm going to broken that base is the ball hit off the end of the battle with the top of the first baseman that you're die couldn't get to it and it's fair by about two feet and the best of a time breaking runner at second base with no one out here in the bottom half of the third and the batter coming up as aim is over. The oldest watch on four pictures is first time up. Thank you party watching the three two pictures first time up moved over the third on a perfect getting one play by Ed Cramer and then scored on a base it by Bob Johnson. Some more prizes on banner night in the one man division first prize but that's our King's Supreme for speaking to the burrow here and the
area where I met play ball and flushing first fixed to Otis's inside a breaking ball ball one. Second prize my mummy loves Robota so much she even has four kids which is a reference to his number four. See a lot of good humor out there one ball no strike out the brawl with a short lead at second base no one out and the fifth notice is it's out of the right side into the fan one and one. We're going to be talking and looking at these manners on our post game show here tonight after this ball game. Talking with the participants that made them up
and carried them around. Now time is call and aim is all the steps back out of the batter's box. Amos batting 294. Now blushing game goes to the rising bag and time is call as Otis again steps out of the batter's box. One ball one strike and the fifth and it's taken outside to change up a two and one. Bullard Mullin same carcass and Bill Gallo also darken and suffering on where the judges of the kind that. Bubble Wallace here from 2311 racing you know it's slower

I think I saw billboard years recently that said that 20 billion one 20 billion insane number. Yeah, 20 billion recovered. It's actually I think somewhere north probably closer to 22 23 after this year and each year we get bigger and batter and our army grows. So the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and

Wow, Dan Morgan from Morgan and Morgan America's largest injury law firm. Thanks for coming by the show. Thanks for having me. Visit for the people dot com for an office near you. Two balls one strike. Glassing game sets up again and the pitch. It is fun. It's our first day taking them all off a glass and game. He has a play at first base to the Raider. Doug Raider making the catch and on the plate. Some of the dog goes over to third. So on the sacrifice and it was sort of a gambling sacrifice. Because Amazon was trying to burn the ball for a base. And that's how the runner at third base for Ed Graemeville with one man out. Ed single his first time up. He now is in an eighth consecutive ball game.
That is average two seventy five. That is batting second in the batting order tonight. Infield is in the first picture style off. It's like one. After Ed got on base. He was thrown out trying to score from second base on a single the right field by Tommy David. Big play by Rutte stop. In this ball game so far. Four side one to one. And that's losing the chance to score on the fine throw. One strike out. Laughing game checks the third goes into the short one up and comes to the plate. The pitch is set out to center field. It will throw one and might be a base. Coming over to make a great catch is Gidwin. He now tries to fire at home. The governor's rise lies in faithfully with a go ahead lunch. Gidwin making a fine running catch catching the ball. Right off his good job for the one hand grab. Well, they go ahead lunch.
Gidwin making a fine running catch catching the ball right off his good job for the one hand grab. I had a good throw home after straightening up, but it was too late. And I have to now lead to the one. One better didn't for Eddie Grainsville on the sacrifice fly is fifty third. That will bring up the second baseman by a judgment. Bob singled his first time up an infield hit with the short shot and his average now 3.42 for his 2.19 times up that's a two runs on four hits the Astros have one run and one base it first fits the Johnson that teams up it's taken outside ball one one hole delivery is slung on a miss the
high fastball one ball one strike they'll have a run down of all the scores in the major leagues right after this half-ending now the pickback again a chain the chain serves in the same size two balls one strike that's now in 65 home days they've drawn a million five hundred thirty three thousand five hundred seventy six two one's it a pine is ball three three and one and comedy with on deck and that's about a single night game tomorrow night and state night is today sitting Tom Caesar against a justi time going for a 60s win justi going for his 12th and a single game on Sunday which is Manifestation Day. Groundball hits down the third base after money goes over to make the play in front of the short side it's all the first bases in time to dug right here
and the side is retired and the end of that score run on a base it there were no errors and no one left on base and the score at the end of three the match to the Astros one in the national league the cup is the Cincinnati three to two to help out San Francisco and their drive for first place and when he put it was Joe Nick Roblin losing picture was Billy McCool at the end of one half ending the LAN of one off mic so then same to the left side no coming up to that and against the master also scheduled to put it up against the Dodgers fit for against San Francisco in the American way Minnesota beat the Yankees to win their fifth consecutive ball game the winning picture Jim got his 15th win against 13 losses now set up my own losing he is now 14 and 14 so I had two home runs Mercedes had one home run and the twin taking over first place in the American like race no matter what happens tonight ballamore not Boston out of first place winning 10 to nothing in the first game of the double header hard in

for a military ballot you can do it for him that is you his mother or father or his wife or his adult child can do it and how do you do it by writing a letter and writing a right to letter well to your local board of elections or to the Department of State of the State of New York in opening if you have any questions write to me because we will give you all the information you need to do this your son is probably the most important person in this entire marry has a right to vote he's fighting for this government give him an opportunity write to me and about all the first it'll be Jerry Grady coming up to lead off for the Met Cleveland did not score in the eighths are going to the ninth inning the Cleveland Indians are leading the Chicago like that one to nothing and Lewis he out as a shutout going to this point
Jerry Grady's been up one time and he struck out way blessing game started he's been in all the way for the Houston Astros he went from Atlanta from the brave to Houston this year in exchange for cloud rain on plan to drive the centerfield for a fifth young man over excuses that plays it back Grady turns and holds the lead off thing over the next year in the fifth does McGraw coming up in a sacrifice situation McGraw has been up one time and he looks to double down the right to your line on a broken back swing at first base does great here comes over the hole here's the victim of Graw you square six inside Bob asked for my third mission to charge

popular thing to do but this isn't done any longer Leo de Rocher made a habit of running the club from third base behind Johnny Kean did it on occasion to Cardinal Jean Mock for the Phillies for a good stretch used to run the club from the coaching line to third he did it this will be a one two pitch he hit by the fish ball nifty men's side and Otis family is already runs on down to first place Jackson was so jokie baller down there he's exercising the left time to do it just nifty as well still ball use enough runners at first and second and break up and painful that's way to go smart just coming out of the net dog I'd see about him Otis to left

at the end of six earnings Detroit nothing washing to nothing and a strike call to the outside corner he was taking all the way making you always pitching for the Tigers and very more for washing to them they go to the seven butting scoreless a battling ball club the Chicago White Sucks shut out for eight innings they rallied for a run on the ninth inning to tie the ball again White Sucks one of the Indians one there in the last of the ninth red Sucks came from behind they hit ball them all of the fires part of the fourth inning red Sucks lead the Orioles six to two at the end of five earnings after bowing in the opener it didn't nothing and a pop foul hit back toward the crowd no play so it's free and two on rusty style final score can the city to be the California three to one five hitter by a jump catch these
Jack Hamilton was the starting and losing pitcher Hamilton is now one eight and lost six red Sucks have gone up with two more runs in the sixth inning in Baltimore they now lead the Orioles eight to two here's the three to pitch and it's high of all four and our tag magraha is in trouble runners at first and second nobody out and Saudi Parker comes out of the dugout and Jack's out of the mound to talk to Tag that is the third walk given up by a tug he had not walked a man since the second inning we have warm up action not for the New York match Dick Salma is cranking up let's now look for the bun runners at first and second nobody out and Jerry Grootie goes out to the mouth
Bob asked for money has reached on a fielders choice and scored the lone astro run his second time up the struck out when asked for money is struck out in the fourth inning for the final out it started the spring of six and a row by Tag Magraha now the pitcher on the way a full swing and a best rank one ready half mad asked for money is swinging away and he went after a curve ball failed to get it the on deck batter is the left fielder Aaron pointer he's a right hand hitter Doug Raider leading off second rusty stab is on first nobody out and the pitch bad tuggy bunched of all foul back towards the screen and over the screen so the family changed the tactics he was going to try and bottom over but he butted it foul
now Tag Magraha with a two strike count on asked for money now Tag comes to the start position the pitch on the way he held out just in time it was outside one ball and two strikes asked for money started to go for it then check the swing if the red sacks can split with the orals they will be a half game behind league leading a minnesota now the runners eduay the ones who delivery get on the air deep the left field back goes time he gave us back to the warning track he jumped it's gone a three run homer five asked for money could x for a three run homer now the s girls go out in front four to two
timey day of us went back to the ball pen fence jumpers as he could and it just cleared the wall and ball carried wall when it went off the bat it looked like it could be cut but it got up there and started to ride and timey day of us kept going deeper and deeper it went over the wall for a homerun for asked for money his six form run of the year he now has 58 runs batted in throw the asterose going front four to two and the batter is there and pointer it's by a draw a fastball outside in the highest ball one you ball off and no strikes on the left fielder air and pointer he has been a twice

number yeah 20 billion recovered it's actually i think somewhere north probably closer to 22 23 after this year and each year we get bigger and better and our army grows so the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on awesome so how does someone get in contact with morgan and morgan what what would i do if i got into an accident probably the easiest way is dialing pound law that's pound five two nine from your cell phone we are always open our call centers always waiting to take your call 24 seven three sixty five wow dan morgan from morgan and morgan america's largest injury law firm thanks for coming by the show thanks for having me visit for the people dot com for an office near you we got a two strike count on bob ask for money he hit a one two delivery over the left field fence into the visiting bullpen just and that has four runs on three hits off the outside corner and thug has a three and one count on Aaron pointer
dog was pitching brilliantly at a one hitter coming into the seven butting and a foul ball back no play nobody on nobody out three rounds are in the astros have moved into the lead 42 here's the payoff it's by the draw and it's low ball for any walks Aaron pointer that's the second walk the sunning and the fourth in the ball game protect now so the partner is on his way to the mound and we're going to get a pitching change next summer has been warming up in the bullpen Danny for a summer our bigger pardon jack fisher is also working in the bullpen now the draw is going out of the ball game and dick summer is coming in
for a six onnings third the draw was the complete master he allowed only one hitter that was a blue single by day of average and he struck out ten men in the first six onnings but suddenly lost his touch in the sun I had the tug as he leaves the ball game nobody out here in the seven buttings on the draw that you're facing at the moment it's given a four runs allowed just three he walked four and struck out ten dick summer coming into his thirty fifth game dick has one two and lost three his last time out if it's three scoreless things in relief to save the win for a less roar unless made his major league debut and got the win over the Los Angeles Dodgers so I have five saves to his credit
now the announcement by jack light cap putting dick summer into the ball game here on the seven-thunnings the greater led off of the clean single in the left field rusty style reached on a walk on three and two and bought asked for money he had a one two pitch over the left field fence into the visiting both in a free run homer air and point air reached on a watch so thought he probably then brought in dick summer and summer is throwing in his warm up Cleveland did that score in the last of the ninth inning but now they go to the 10th inning the white sacks one and the Indians won Stan Williams has come on in relief of Louis Tion Wilbur Wood is the fourth that you're called on by Eddie Stanky there in the seventh inning at Washington no score lowlych against very more he tried beta
wise he's got eight to three in the first game and the red sacks now lead the Orioles eight to two at the end of six unnings in the second game ball a more blank Boston 10 nothing in the first game Minnesota beat the Yankees eight to two this afternoon the white sacks did not score in the top of the 10 now Cleveland had batted the last of the 10th inning with a chance to win it and all four joy well done as come on to pitch for the white sacks and the pitch is over strike one call the day of end lich now summer up in pitching position a high pop fly in the very short right field Bob Johnson going out coming in his aim is to notice and notice makes the catch and they are most collided
Wade Blassing game comes up against big summer one out of one off laughing game has been a twice in both times to struck him up now they look for the bond as blasting game steps in and summer steps off he's around a body doesn't offer in the fastball of five ball one just in four runs three hits and no errors New York two runs six hits no errors he squares around and the pitch is over strike one goal one and one
Cleveland out in the last of the 10th inning the light sacks in the Indians go to the 11 the ball game tied one to one point well on Chicago's fifth pitcher and Stan Williams Cleveland's second pitcher Joe MOOC in closest third waiting for the but and the pitch inside the high two balls in one strike last double header of the year for the yard met the two one fits is low ball three and someone else behind the opposing pitcher three and one the Detroit taggers have broken his score this deadlock in the top of the seven
butting with Bill freehand driving in to run taggers are now leading Washington two to nothing in the seven butting and they're still batting four count three and two on Wade Blassing game the base runner is there and pointer one man down Joe MOOC in close still looking for the but and now some of steps off next summer relief last two United and saved the game for less roar against the Dodgers now a foul ball back into the screen laughing game hangs in the air with a three and two count if the taggers win two they will be one game out they will gain a half game on Minnesota
if the red side split there will be a half game behind Minnesota now Casey Cox has relieved very more for the senators in the top of the seven he bunch of fouls frankly blasting game trying to run on three and two bunch of all foul now there are two men away and Julio good tie is being called back to the dugout funny Jackson he is coming up to hit for it that's for the right hander Dick Saldon the game and so Grady Hatton is sending up the left hand hitter sunny Jackson
Julio good tie was over three now sunny Jackson he plays short in the opening game with him in the opening ball game sunny Jackson had one for three he stole a base he was his 21st field last year as a rookie he's wide 49 if for sunny each has been very good this year he's still in 21 basis has been caught only seven times now the pitch by summer a foul ball back toward the screen no play three runs are not a three run homer by Bob asked for money and the Astros have taken the lead four to two 40 Troy two runs across in the top of the seven betting at the end of six and a half Detroit two Washington nothing taggers won the first game eight to three with Earl Wilson winning his 20 second
ball game there goes the runner hit the run a foul ball back towards the crowd no play two thousand three hundred and seventeen banners went on parade between games and the double header tonight banners seem to get better and better every year Tyler Reddick here from 2311 racing another checkered flag for the books time to celebrate with chamba jump in at chamba casino dot com let's chamba no purchase necessary btw group void by law ctnc 21 plus sponsored by chamba casino i've got dan morgan here on the pod say hi dan hey how's it going today it's going good man tell us who you are and what you do i'm dan morgan i'm an attorney in a managing partner at morgan and morgan which is america's largest injury law firm that's pretty
awesome um i think i saw billboard years recently said that 20 billion one 20 billion is an insane number yeah 20 billion recovered it's actually i think somewhere north probably closer to 22 23 after this year and each year we get bigger and better and our army grows so the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on awesome so how does someone get in contact with morgan and morgan what what would i do if i got into an accident probably the easiest way is dialing pound law that's pound five two nine from your cell phone we are always open our call center is always waiting to take your call 24 seven three sixty five wow dan morgan from morgan and morgan america's largest injury law firm thanks for coming by the show thanks for having me visit for the people dot com for an office near you now so much ecstasy's runner and the pictures outside the high one ball two strikes Aaron pointer is on first he reached on a walk so all my has come on to retire day of at least and weighed blasting game it's now pitching the pensioner
sonny jackson by spraying rather shallow toward left center against jackson and it's inside in the high two balls and two strikes use the picture in the way the runner goes a swing in the middle of the strugging out dick summer strikes out sonny jackson will start again out of the ball bend to get three interviews in a row three runs two hits no errors one left on at the end of six and a half the Houston after all four the yard must do they're all here and they're all at armory garage central at coffin and Albany the brand new imperial Chrysler and Plymouth cars for 1968 are really

in the Houston infield sunny Jackson is now playing shortstop and lead bales has moved over to second base down by we'll be leading off of the New York mess against Wade Blashingy in the last of the seven buildings the Astros taking the lead four to two on the three run homer by bob ask for money lasting game has allowed two runs given up six of Bob Johnson singled home the first met run in the opening inning after Houston had tied the game one to one Eddie Crainville sacrifice fly put the New York in front two to watch and Doug McGraw was working on a one hitter going to the 7th inning but in the 7th inning a single a walk and a free run homer by ask for money put Houston in front not ready to happen that comes out to the mound just as Blashingy him will set the start
out and he's going to make a pitching change ready to happen coming out to talk to Blashingy I mean I think he asked him about his arm and the answer that he got indicated to him immediately that he wanted to make a pitching change Carol Sembera is coming in from the bullpen and he will be given adequate time to warm up it shouldn't take you too long however because he has been working down there so Blashingy him is leaving the ball game after pitching is like that he gave up two runs on six bases walk to and struck out to use the pitcher of record as he leaves the scene Carol Sembera coming in Sembera has won two and lost six this will be his 44th ball game
he has relieved three times this year I guess the New York Met Sembera has the young pitcher out of shattertexers It's 26 years old, a six foot area weighs about 160 pounds, and it's a six foot area about 165. Last year he divided the season between Oklahoma City of the Pacific Coast League and the Houston Astros. His nickname is the Postal because he's pretty slender. He will be given as much time as he feels that he needs to get his arm good and ready.
The Astros in front 4-2 and they won the opener of the double-edder 8-0 on a 5-it-scun-out by Mike Quayard. Now some very assesses he's ready and Don Deis comes up to hit. During Groney is beyond deck better than the pitcher of Dick Soma is scheduled at. Jack Fisher continuing to warm up in the New York bullpen. Now some bear on the right hander delivers and gets a strike on the outside corner. Bias Switzerlander batting left against Carol Sumberra. Jortori was hit by a pitch in the Atlanta State Lewis game that I hadn't had to leave the ball game but never lost catch as this the injury is not considered serious at all. Sumberra has a two-strike count on Don Deis.
Now the thin right hander winds and pitches and his sinker is low one ball to strikes. That's about hit the Astros 6-3 but they trail 4-2. The Astros getting the one not family long hit. Pitching one and two. Inside and low Bias let's go in his two balls and two strikes. Now Don Deis will face the Astros tomorrow night and Les Roar will start his second majorly game on Sunday afternoon. Les started and pitched very impressively against the Dodgers on Tuesday night and got his first major leg win. The two two-pitch round ball hit toward the hole galloping fortously Bales he hasn't and
he throws the rater in time for the out. We pause for station identification this is the New York Met Space Ball Network. Sounds like a great Met Space Ball game Harry. All right Bill here on WKY10 on your dials connected to New York. Bob Murphy with Lindsay Nelson and Ralph Keiner were in the last of the 7th inning Houston leading 4-2 and Jerry Grody takes a breaking ball outside ball one. Jerry's single to center his last time up. Strike out victim his first trip to the plate. And a curve to the silver strike one ball and one strike. Carl Sender has taken over for Wade Blassing game in the last of the 7th inning. In Boswell it's him out on deck at the same center. Brown ball bounced to short handled by a funny Jackson but pegged to Doug Raider to men down.
Now Ken Boswell is going to hit for Dick Soma. And another excellent release job by Dick Soma. He came out of the ball pen and retired 300s in a row. Getting Dave Adley striking out Wade Blassing game and striking out Finch hitter Sonny Jackson. Ken Boswell takes inside his ball one. Ken he got the first hit off Mike Coyar in the fifth inning of the opener when he doubled the left center. And a pop fly into shallow left field. Aaron Pointer glides and he's under it and he makes the catch the side is out. Let's get on one two three and there half of the 7th. No runs, no hits, no errors, none left. At the end of the 7th, the Houston Astros 4 and the New York match 2.
In the national league, the Chicago Cubs had adored their first first division finish in 20 years. It'd be the Cincinnati this afternoon. It'd regularly feel free to two. Brookier right hander Joe Negro only a second year in professional baseball. Tyler Reddick here from 2311 Racing. Another checkered flag for the books. Time to celebrate with Jamba. Jump in at JambaCasino.com. Let's jump up. No purchase necessary. VTW Group. Boy, we're prohibited by law. CT and C. 21 plus sponsored by JambaCasino. I've got Dan Morgan here on the pod. Say hi, Dan. Hey, how's it going today? It's going good, man. Tell us who you are and what you do. I'm Dan Morgan. I'm an attorney and a managing partner at Morgan Morgan, which is America's largest injury law firm. That's pretty awesome. I think I saw Billboard years recently that said 20 billion one. 20 billion is insane number. Yeah, 20 billion recovered. It's actually, I think, somewhere north probably closer to 22, 23 after this year.
And each year we get bigger and better and our army grows. So the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on. Awesome. So how does someone do in contact with Morgan and Morgan? What would I do if I got into an accident? Probably the easiest way is dialing pound law. That's pound 529 from your cell phone. We are always open. Our call center is always waiting to take your call. 24-7365. Wow, Dan Morgan. From Morgan and Morgan, America's largest injury law firm. Thanks for coming by the show. Thanks for having me. Visit forthepeople.com for an office near you. When all the way in the 3-2 win and one is 10th ball game, Gully McCool was the loser in relief of Jim Maloney. Tonight, the St. Louis Cardinals lead the Atlanta Braves to one of the end of five, getting a master pitching for the Braves. Jacqueline Maeve has relieved rookie Mike Torres in the top of the sixth inning. So the Braves may have something going. Philadelphia had lost Angela's later tonight, and Pittsburgh had San Francisco later tonight. Jack Fisher is coming in to take over the New York Met's pitcher.
In the American League front-end race, Minnesota stepped into undisputed possession of first place. By defeating the New York Yankees, 8-2 this afternoon. Johnny Scott pitching a seven-hitter, one of his tough teams' games. Well, Stado Meyer was the loser. So far, Homer twice and Versailles had won. Baltimore, with Jim Harden on the mound, blanked the Red Sacks, tended nothing in the opener of a double-header tonight. They beat Jerry Stevenson, and Baltimore jumped out to a two-nothing lead in the night gap. But the Red Sacks exploded scoring five runs in the fourth inning. And now, at the end of seven, the Red Sacks lead the Orioles by a score of eight to two. They have Jose San Diego on the mound. If the Red Sacks go on to gain a split, they will be in second place, one-half game behind Minnesota. Detroit defeated Washington, eight to three in the opener with Earl Wilson, hurling the complete game for his twenty-second win. Frank Virginia was the loser. In the night gap, no score at the end of six and then Detroit broke through,
getting two runs on the top of the seventh. Mickey Lulley pitching for the Tigers. Casey Cox has replaced Barry Moore. If the Tigers sweep, they will be in third, one-game behind Minnesota. The Light Sacks and the Indians are now playing in the last of the 11th inning, and the game is tied one to one. Hoyt Wilhelm is the fifth pitcher used by Eddie Stanky. Stan Williams, the second, used by Joe Edgott. Kansas City beat California three to one. Now, Lee Bales is the lead-off batter as we go to the eighth inning, and he tries to funny his way on. Bust-of-all foul. Jack Fisher, nine wins and 18 losses on the year, up there in his 38th game. An aligned rise foul down the left field and no play at two strikeouts. This is only the eighth time all year that Jack has been called on in relief.
From here until the end of the season, the youngster will handle the starting assignments. The two-strike delivery, ground-all to shortstop, gliding to his left to smoothcheck his up, but it throws the first in time for the out. One-o-way on the top of the eighth inning, the center-fielder, Jenny Wen will be coming up. One-for-five on the open area has gone open three in the second year. He's been winning in the open area, eating nothing on a five-hitter by Quayar. He won his 15th game of the year and his 15th complete game. Curved outside ball one. And a curve ball by Jack Fisher is outside, two balls and no strikes. Breaking ball again is outside, he goes behind on Jimmy Wen for you know.
Rio delivery, fastball right in there, free in one. And a breaking ball in the outside corner, three and two. Washington did not score against Big E. Loweach and Detroit in the last of the summer. This is foul ball bag no play. At the end of the seven, Detroit two, Washington nothing. Cleveland out in the last of the 11th inning, they go to the 12th inning with a game tied, one to one. One out of nobody on, Saturday eighth inning, the Astros leading, four to two. And a fastball just outside ball four.
In the eighth inning, at Washington, none in case has just no murder, nobody on. So Detroit has increased its lead over Washington to three to nothing. And the Red Sacks got two more in the eighth inning, their leading ball to more 10 to two, after seven and a half innings. And a quick throw to first, not in time, Jimmy Wen steps back. The batter is dug greater, the first base winning clean up better. He started Doug Begross downfall in the last inning when he singled the left field he got. Here's the picture in the way, a wild pitch by Jack Fisher. Jimmy Wen moves to second base. And good, he throws the ball to second, now to play a third, he is out. Bob Johnson to Joe Moose.
Jimmy Wen took a long turn around second after the wild pitch. And Jerry Grody pegged it from the back side. And the minute he turns the throw loose, it looked like Wen was fading him trying to set it trap for Grody to do that. He turned it on thinking he'd make third base. But Bob Johnson took Grody's strong throw and pegged over to Joe Moose. And Wen, with the head first slide, when he got there, the ball was waiting for it. I drive his deep, the left, back goes Tommy Davis on the warning track, he's one hand. Good grab by Tommy Davis, ball well hit by Doug Reader and he went on the warning track. Back into the corner and reached up and grabbed it with one hand running in full speed. No runs, no hits, no errors, and none left. At the end of seven and a half minutes, the astronauts four at the New York Mets two.
Now here's a word from Rindle. The fishing rod bends to give him some play. He's got to be a ten pounder, going to be a big day. Yeah, you're really making it, making it big. So, we're in a six pack of Mr. Beats. Rindle, make it Rindle, and you make it big. Rindle, make it Rindle, and you make it big. Rindle, Mr. Beats, when I've told Crawford, as well as the big blue on your line, Rindle's dry, so extra dry you can pick a strike at the strike and still have you for more. So, make it Mr. Beats. Rindle, make it Rindle, and you make it big. Rindle, make it Rindle, and you make it big. Bottom half of the A's on Hanger York to the hand of Amosurus comes up against Carol Semberg.
Amos has reached on a walk, sacrificed, and has been hit by a fish. So, he's been up three times tonight without an official time at bat, and he takes a breaking ball low and away ball one. Amosurus is in good, 94. Down comes the pitch by Semberg, inside in low ball two, it's two and a half. Eddie Cainville on deck and then Bob Johnson. Houston four runs, three hits and no errors, New York two runs, six hits, no errors. So, this is over at the knee, he is for his strike two and one. Now the pitch on the way, a foul ball back upstairs, no play. The white sacks did not score in the ball finish.
He really has to head into the white sacks. What a battling, scrapping ball throw. The end of seven and a half, the Tigers lead Washington three nothing. The white sacks are fighting for their lives tonight. Here's the pitch by Semberg. It's three and two. If the white sacks lose their battle with slavery, they will be two full games behind Minnesota. Swinging the most, the ball is dropped picked up, throwing the first five days, at least one away. And the lost got him. The margin would be the same, not two. If the white sacks can win that battle, they'll remain just one game behind.
Eddie Crainbrill is the hitter against Carol Semberg, and the breaking ball is overstrike one. Eddie has one for two, an RBI picked up on a sacrifice slide. Strider hit down the first baseline, a fair ball taken by Rader, he steps on the bag to Minda. So two outs in the last of the eights of it. For the Astros in front, four to two. Tyler Reddick here from 2311 Racing. Victory Lane? Yeah, it's even better with Chamba by my side. Race to ChambaCasino.com. Let's Chamba. Don't purchase necessary, VTW Group. Boy, we're prohibited by law. CTNCs, 21 plus sponsored by ChambaCasino. I think I saw Billboard years recently that said that 20 billion won.
20 billion is insane number. Yeah, 20 billion recovered. It's actually, I think, somewhere north probably closer to 22, 23 after this year. And each year we get bigger and better and our army grows. So the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on. Awesome. So how does someone get in contact with Morgan and Morgan? What would I do if I got into an accident? Probably the easiest way is dialing pound law. That's pound 529 from your cell phone. We are always open. Our call center is always waiting to take your call. 24, 7, 365. Wow, Dan Morgan. From Morgan and Morgan, America's largest injury law firm. Thanks for coming by the show. Thanks for having me. Visit forthepeople.com for an office near you. At the end of eight years now in Baltimore, the Red Sacks lead the Orioles 10 to three. Minnesota and the Red Sacks. We'll meet head on the last two days of the season in Fenway Park. Now the pitched-about chance is over for a call strike.
By the way, those two games are the only remaining meetings. As far as the contenders are concerned. Now slowly down the third, no chance to get him. It's a base hit for Bob Johnson. Now Tommy Davis comes up. He'll be the dying run of battle. So when you're making it big, grab onto a wrangle, Mr. Bear. So dry you can bring glass after glass and still have rooms for another. So make it Mr. Bear, make it wrangled and you make it big. And the pitch. Tiled off the leg of Tommy Davis, that one very. Tommy hobbling around, tried to shake the paint out of his leg. Tommy has won for three. He's flingled the right field back in the first inning. Eddie Cain's goal, trying to score from second on the base hill, was thrown out by Rusty Star.
Bob Johnson is on first with an infield here. Slow grounded on the third base line. Some bearer came off the field in the near of the line. But the time he turned looks, it was too late to throw. And a grounder with a big hop, him to the upfield for a base hit. Bob Johnson starts his second, the dying runs right. Tommy Davis hitting down on the ball and hitting it hard. It took a high high. The underage of S for money in him to the upfield. Tommy's second hit of the game, he's now two for four. He won open three in the open air. Leon Jones is coming out, the running for Tommy Davis. Now the time runs run with New York behind four to two and the hitter is very good.
There he has good power and he gets a hold of one. But that's why it's a bearer. Get high in the air to left field, it's well hit. Back to the wall, his pointer, he will be able to get it down. Here he boots at putting the yard mess back into the lead with a three run hummer. A powering fly ball that landed in a visiting bullfin and left field. How Joe Mook is up against him there at his ball one. For Jerry Booch that his ball boomer out of the air.
He raises his RBI turtle to 35. Jerry is now tied with Ryan's Kubota for a second place on the ball club in the home run. Founcing ball in right back to the mound, field advice and bearer. He throws to first in high. But the net's grabbed the lead on a dramatic three run hummer by Jerry Booch. Three runs, three hits, no errors, none luck. At the end of eight earnings, the New York nuts five, the Houston Astros four. The ninth earnings rusty style leading off against Jack Fisher. Fisher will have to say style, ask for money and pointer in the top of the name. So that's waiting five to four on Jerry Booch's x-free run hummer. Leon Jones is now playing left field. So the nuts have Jones, Bish and Otis in the upfield. A minute of the mail. Eddie Crane voted for his five Johnson's second. Jerry Booch seconds short and Joe Mugat third.
We have landed not score on the home ball stunning. And now the white socks in the NDS go to the 13th inning tied up one to one. And the pitches inside the rusty style is ball one. They're going to the ninth inning in Washington now. Detroit leading the senator is free to nothing. That's Mayo Smith Tigers bid for a sweep on the double header. And a line drive, they set the left field and tying runners on. There on the ninth inning in Baltimore, it's 10 to three red farts. Baller down the third baseline, a foul ball. Ron Taylor and Jerry Kusman are warming up in the New York Met's bullpen. Jerry started the first game at that, but was hit by a wildness in the second inning. Rusty stop on first, nobody out. Let's trying to protect a one run lead now the fits. He bunts it.
It's a fair ball, Jerry Grody after it takes it out. The play goes to first. In the end. And now the tying run goes over the second base. The left fielder and pointer is the batter. He struck out twice and reached on a walk. The first inning is tonight. Tug McGraw had about as good a step as you can look at. He struck out 10 in the first inning. Look at the turn right now is Aaron pointer. Right hand batter waiting, the pitch by a Fisher is high at ball one. Fisher is now the pitcher of record and has the chance to pick up his 10th one of the year if he can protect the lead.
This is a record of Jack Fisher and Carol Sembera and the pitch is over at the knees one ball one strike. Rusty stop on second base one men out. Now Fisher deals a ground ball hit the shortstop. Now boot check holds the runner throws the first to down. They have Adleris is coming up to it. Adleris has one hit and three times in fact. He's finger a lot of center in the second inning. Now Fisher looking in the jury gritty.
Two men away top of the ninth inning. Here's the pitch on the way fast ball over strike one goal. Let's have the off field astride to left against Adleris right hand batter he bends the weights and the pitch on the way low and outside grabbed by jury gritty. One ball and one strike. Now how king has come out of the undexercil the bad for Carol Sembera the one one delivery. Now a ball that pitch was way inside and Adleris was found to bail out and the ball it is back. So the Mexican a break on that one one ball and two strikes.
Trying to split the double hand came from behind the last of the eighth inning on a three run homer by Jerry bootcheck. Jerry's ball from run of the year. Pitching one and two. Curve it on the ground toward the hole. Boot check boots the ball to go across the line against the tie-duck. Stop comes on. Jerry bootcheck racing into the hole. Had he fielded the ball clean he could not have thrown out the runner but the run would not have scored. But it is face to try and pick it up. It went against to his chin. He kicked it across the line and over into fouls there at jury. Now how king is coming up as a considered. It will be a base hit all the way and it drives in the tying run. It's now five to five. Now the pitch to king the left hand hitter who had a bigger in the minor leagues.
It's all tied up five to five. And the pitch to the left hand hitter a swing and a miss hold as he big as swing. He has thirty-five on the run to the minor leagues this season. which is America's largest injury law firm. That's pretty awesome. I think I saw Billboard years recently that said a 20 billion one. 20 billion is insane number. Yeah, 20 billion recovered. From Morgan and Morgan, America's largest injury law firm. Thanks for coming by the show. Thanks for having me. Visit forthepeople.com for an office near you. In the hole by Dave Adley's. There was no way a boot check could have thrown out Adley's. And the curve has popped up. Newer second base. Bob Johnson takes it to the out.
One run at two hits. No errors. One left on and at the end of eight to half an inch, the Astros 5 of the mid-spire. Last of the night that hang here at J. Stadium, again tied up five to five. On the mound before the Houston Astros. It's all right hander Tom Dukes. Tom has been in 15 games since coming up to the Astros. All 15 appearances have been in relief. He was pitching in relief during the regular season with Oklahoma City and the Pacific Coast League. With the Astros he has won none and lost one. But he has pitched well in relief. Last 10 games he's been scored on only twice. Don Vaish will lead off against the right hander Tom Dukes. Do you think he is?
New York five runs, nine hits and no errors. The Astros five runs, four hits and no errors. Now Dukes into his wind up and the pitch is low and away ball one. This has been a see-saw battle. The Mets led one to nothing. The Astros tied it. The Mets led a second down two to one. Then Houston grabbed the lead for the first time on the three run 100 by Astros for money. The Mets came back on bootchecks three run 100 to have the lead for the third time. The Astros bounced back again and tied the ball again. For three times the Mets have had the lead in the Mets came. Houston has had the lead on one again. The one one delivered by Tom Dukes all the way over the catcher said and to the backstop. Two balls in one strike.
Two one delivery. A drive in the air to center field. Jimmy Wynn, cutting over toward Love Center, ready to make the catch. Ball hit a wall by Don Byes, but it stayed up there and Wynn had it all away. Now before Jerry Gritty steps in, we stepped out for space and identification. This is the New York Mets baseball network. Let's really playing a sturdy game, Harry. All right, Bill? Here on WG White, and on your dial. Rod Murphy with Lindsay Nelson and Ralph Canter were in the last of the ninth and the fifth to Gritty turns him away. One ball in no strike. There's the last of the ninth inning in Baltimore where the Red Sacks leading the Orioles 10-3 ball and one on the first game, 10-0 nothing.
Swinging a miss on a curve ball, one ball in strike. Larry Stahl has come out on deck. He's going to hit for Jack Fisher. Ron Taylor is getting ready in the bullpen. The one on fifth to Gritty, swinging a miss on a breaking ball, one ball to stretch. Fitting one and two, it's outside and low and Jerry lays off, so the count is two and two. Jerry has one for three, singled back in the fifth inning. The next score is single runs in the first and third and three runs in the eighth inning. Fitting two and two, and a foul ball sent back into the crowd.
The Chicago White Sacks Cleveland game is now the last of the 13th onnings at up one to one. At a pop fly outside third and foul ground, as for money right over to the railing, jumps up, gets a glove on it but can't hold it and Gritty gets the life. Bob Thoughteball was going to require him to lean over the offense over the railing. He jumped a little bit too soon. That is thank you now as Roger Nelson and the game on the last of the 13th onnings. He's called on six pitchers. Bowler against the just protectors of the play that Brian Frank does the last. Anyway, you look at it, Minnesota is in first place. All by themselves at the moment, although their margin is very scant.
Here's the pitch on the way. Queen of Mercy struck him out. Well, the White Sacks just lost a tough one. Tony Horton has just rumored to break the game up in the 13th onnings. Cleveland winning in the bottom half of the 13th onnings and the White Sacks are two four deans behind Minnesota. Now Larry's crawl is going to hit for Jack Fisher. Fisher got a tough break on the ground ball that was booted by a boot check, although Jerry could not have thrown the hitter out. And he just fielded the ball. The runners would have been at first and third. Fisher then got the next hit or out of that would have been the ball game. Larry's ball is batting for Jack Fisher, facing the right-hander, Tom Dukes were in the last of the 9th inning. And the pitch gets high, he lays off.
Detroit got a run on the 9th inning. They go to the last of the 9th leading Washington for nothing. And it's on the inside corner. It's all strike one and one to Larry's tall. Ron Taylor will be out to pitch in the 10th unless the Mexican wanted here in the bottom half of the 9th inning. The one-one pitch, Jack slaying in a foul ball. Over the dugout, Ruth ran into the ground. We've run the fit of the light strikes 2-1 and 13th on a home run in the 13th by Tony Horton. That I'll believe is his 10th home run of the year. Stan Williams, the winner and release, he came on in the 10th. And Roger Nelson, who came in and the 13th inning gave up the home run and his losing pitcher. Pitching one and two, and he pops it up. Sonny Jackson on the skin part of the dam and is calling for it.
And between second and third, he takes it for the off. And that's out in order facing Duke in the last of the 9th. No runs, no hits, no errors, and none left. So at the end of 9th, you have a hankachiff and a cigarette. Well, try this. Blow a stream of smoke through your hankachiff before and after inhaling the smoke from your cigarette. See what happens? The stain on your hankachiff is a substance contained in an inhaled cigarette smoke that's known as tobacco tar. It's dangerous. Because it's deposited in your lungs by the cigarette smoke you inhale. And all too often, the result is chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Emphysema. It impairs the action of your lungs, cripples your breathing apparatus, can often kill. But the risk of being disabled, perhaps dying of emphysema, can be greatly reduced whenever a heavy smoker stops smoking cigarettes.
Such a simple solution, such a simple decision. For more information on cigarette smoking and its relationship to emphysema, write the U.S. Public Health Service, Washington, D.C. for your free booklet on emphysema. Could be very important to you. Ron Taylor is now pitching for New York. Ron is one three and lost six. This will be his 47th bargain. Ron has five saves to his credit. Jack Fisher worked two innings. Give up one run, allowed two hits. Walked one and struck out none. In the 10th inning, Sonny Jackson, the lead-off batter and shortstop will be coming up against Ron Taylor, followed by Lee Bales and N. Jimmy Wynn.
In extra-ending bargains, the U.S. and Astros have been involved in 17, and they've won seven and lost ten. The nuts have played a 16 extra-ending bargains this year, winning eight and losing eight. Sonny Jackson, batting for the second time since he came in the game. And the pitch is down around and he is ball one. He was struck out as a ten-shitter in the 7th inning. He doesn't spade in the ball game, going to short and leave Bales. Tyler Reddick here from 23-11 Racing. The rush of racing, nothing beats it, but Jumbo Casino comes close. We are always open. Our call center is always waiting to take your call. 24-7-365. Wow, Dan Morgan. From Morgan and Morgan, America's largest injury law firm. Thanks for coming by the show. Thanks for having me. Visit forthepeople.com for an office near you. Go over to second. It's right in the air for a call strike. One ball and one strike. Houston has been a tough ball club for Ron Taylor. Joe Mookin, close to third. He ran up a gifted one, but didn't offer it. It was low inside, two balls in a strike. When New York met five runs, nine hits and no errors. The Astros 5-5-0. The pitchers of record now are Ron Taylor and Tom Dukes. And right over there.
Put two under-livery. And it's nice to short, caught by Jerry. Good check, one man down. A shoulder high line drive. Now Lee Bale, the second baseman, comes up. He has reached on a walk. Otherwise, gone over three. He's talking about despair. Bow ball into the Houston dugout. Boy, oh boy, what's that? A shot. Bale's beyond deck battered. Lifted up to his main. He's bailed out in the hurry. Oh, that was a wicked shot going into the Houston dugout. Speaking of despair, Eddie Steggy brought Roger Nelson in to face Cleveland and the last of the 13 dunnings. He threw exactly one pitch. Tony Horton hit it out of the barks the game was over. Here's the pitch on the way.
And a soft liner caught by Joe Moose. Saw a shoulder high line drive. Two men down. Now two away in the tent that brings up Jimmy Wynn. It's all over in Baltimore and the Red Sacks and the Orioles split the double header. Boston came from behind to win the nightcaps 10-3. They were trailing two nothing in the end of three. Fendiago the winner and Pete Rickard the loser. Baltimore won the opener 10-0 on a five-hit shot out by Jim Hardton. He beat Jerry Stevenson. So the Red Sacks by splitting are in second half game behind Minnesota. Swinging a miss by Jimmy Wynn. The Tigers are winning a double header. They're on the last of the ninth inning leading Washington forward to nothing in the second game. It's by Ron Taylor drives the hitter away one ball and one strike. He had to get out of there.
Detroit with a sweep will be inferred at one game back. At a swing at a miss one ball and two strikes. And Jimmy Wynn is not making any pretenses about what he's trying to do. He is trying to hit it out of the ballpark. He almost jumps off the ground of that high pass ball. It's one ball and two strikes to Jimmy Wynn. The White Sacks in fourth place two games back. Good thing Wynn do and a line drive caught like your most society's eye. We line drives all we're caught as a side is on. You'll move caught two and Jerry Bookcheck caught one. No runs, no hips, no airs, and none left. After nine and a half an inch, the after-ose five and the next five. There are now more than a quarter million potentially poisonous products on the market. Presented in the interest of your family's help by the American Academy of General Practice. Now the last of the company. Amosotus waiting off against its all right hander, Tom Duke. And the curve is hit foul. It comes up in his photos on the lake. Amos has only one official time at Baton Aboggy. And that was in the eighth inning and he was struck out. Otherwise, he has reached on a walk, sacrificed, and it hit by a pitch. Nuts are flying, they're 17th overtime game, the Astros are flying their 18th.
Eddie Crane will on deck, then Bob Johnson. Now the line to by Dukes and the pitch notice, a fastball over strike two. It's all over in Washington, the Tiger's sweep. Winning the night kept four to nothing on a four-hit shutout by Mickey Loli. So the action is all over now with the contenders on the American lake. Two strike delivery and the curve low and away. One ball in his strike. So Amosotus beat the Yankees 8-2 in a day game. Baltimore and the Red Facts Clip. Detroit swept Washington and Cleveland defeated Chicago on a 13th inning home run by Tony Horton, foul ball bag, no play. Amosotus wins are in first place. The Red Facts in second and a half game back. Detroit is now in third at one game out.
The White Facts in fourth are two full games back. Good thing one and two. Swing an overseas strike him out with a curve ball. Tom Dukes in relief has now retired four on a roll. That's his second strike out. Eddie Crane's roll has flingled the right. Driven in a run with a sacrifice fly with a line drive to center. Top to second and bottom to first. Eddie won for three in a run, batted out. Last ball taken high. One ball in no strike. Breaking ball off the outside corner. Two balls in no strike.
No one away, it's ball three. Three o'clock delivery at all strike on the outside corner, three and one. Three o'clock delivery by Tom Dukes. He has kept down it up to the line, but it's going five. Fails over into the field boxes, and we have a full count on Crane's roll, three and two. The Mets without hit the Astros nine to five. The Mets were leading five to four, going to the ninth inning. The Astros got a run with two down on the top of the ninth inning to tie it up. And a fly ball hit the air to the left field, and finally moving forward to the line,
is Edward M. H.A.C. to the off. He went away, Bob Johnson coming up. Bob has two hits and four times up. Here's the pitch on the way. And a fly ball hit toward the gap and writes on her field at the end for a base hit. Johnson is around for his sonny's weight of striking, and Bob bulls in a second with a double. The winning run is on second on Bob Johnson's third hit of the game, along double the right center field. Leon Jones will be coming up to the first time. He came in the game in the eighth inning to run for Tommy Davis.
How about Halton is coming in the ball game to run for Bob Johnson? How about Halton running for Bob Johnson? Here is Leon Jones. Here is Leon Jones. He is coming in the second game. He will be Cleanson's first time in the game. Enter the chance to win it here in the last game. It's not going to happen. Two hot doubles in the right center by Bob Johnson. Bob Johnson is in the ball hard all year long. Now, clean up, count the O's of that, box it off the right shoulder, and the pitch by Tom Duke secure about five ball length.
Tom Duke saw right in, or pitching it really. He had retired five in a row and released, when Johnson hit the long double to right center field. Now, hell's in the pinch run, early draw seconds. Here's the pitch on the way, breaking ball outside, two balls in no stretch. Three, two, three, two, three. Jerry Bouchek waiting on deck. In the eighth inning with a match thrilling, four to two, Jerry had a free run homer, sending New York in front five to four. The change to an O, curve the swing on the left. Two balls in the strike, to Leon go. Leon hitting two, thirty-seven, has five homers, and thirty-nine runs better than him.
But hell's in the, is the one he run, building a lead off second base. Now Duke checks the runner with two on the pitch. Here's the swing on, foul depth. It's two balls and two strikes to go. Followed half of the tenth inning. Yogi Barrow coaching at first, Zoli Parker running the ball club off the coaching lines of third. Duke's pitching deliberately with the ball, again hanging in the balance. Now, Dave Adley's, says for the pitch, and now Duke's take so much time, the clear on John Vassbrick down, he steps up. Here's the stretch by Tom Duke's, the two two delivery.
What's up, John Vassbrick down, he steps up. Here's the stretch by Tom Duke's, the two two delivery. Tom Dukes, the two-two delivery, fastball highest free-and-do. 4.0 free-and-do, the Clean Jones. Tom Dukes, the runner, and the payoff is a foul ball back into the crowd and we do it again. Tom Dukes had two for four, a lot of it was in the ball again. Tom Dukes had a big hit on the edge on it.
After O's had the off-field rather deep and has stepped the left against Clean. The free-to-fits and a blupper hit down the right field line with a sweeper. Fireball! Missed fire. Halson was all the way home. How many times have you heard the man say as the game evidences? You couldn't have put an egg between where that ball landed in the line. Hit off the end of the bat, a blupper down the right field line, beyond the reach of Rader, the first-based one, but just foul. So on here and yet so far. Free-and-do once again, on beyond. Halson leads off second, Dukes end of the stretch.
Here's the pitch on the way, ball four. Very good check, Tom Dukes. One of them first in touch. Oh, you can't hardly say he's due. He said he's due to the last time up. Here he hit a free-run homer in the eighth inning, fired at that. He hit into a double-play, walked and bounced off. One for three, a free-run homer. Five to five, last of the time coming. Two men down, runners on first and second. Here's the pitch on the way, and a foul ball hit back over the screen, strike one.
That's a wonderful feed on the baseline, but Halson and Clean Jones, the only one they need, is to get Halson home. It's about any kind of a hit that was scoring the way he can fly. Here's the pitch on the way, and a high fly hit deep, so that's the way back. It's going out of homerun. And that's what it was on the second free-run homer by Jerry Burschett. It was very easy to swap in 13 homers, and driven six of the eight runs across the plate. And that's what it was by a final score of eight to five. It was almost too much to expect, as there was anybody in the lineup not to, it was Jerry Burschett,
having hit a free-run homer in the eighth inning. But he hit a curveball, and he hit this one further than the last one. Well, back into the ball, then, and the next one, it's by the score of eight to five. In the 10th inning, three runs on two hits, no errors, and none left on. So for Jerry Burschett, it is quite ahead. He hit his 12th and 13th homerun. He raised his RBI total from 32 to 38. Jerry also puts his name in the match record book, saying the old record held by Frank Thomas for our most runs batted in in one ball game. Six RBI. Burschett, grabbed a bomb, six of the eight runs, and the match get a split of the double header. On the batting heroics of the Navy of St. Louis, Missouri, Jerry Burschett. The line score, as the match won the overtime game,
for the New York match, eight runs, 11 hits, no errors, for the Houston Astros, five runs, five hits, and no errors. The winning pitcher in relief is Ron Taylor, and he deserved a break because he's been fishing without many good ones. Ron wins his fourth game against six losses, and the losing pitcher in relief is Tom Duke. He now has won none, and lost two. So all the battenite double header is split, the Astros won the opener, eight to nothing, on a five hit shutout by Mike Quayar. The nuts came from behind to win the night gap. They were trailing by score a four to two going to the eighth inning, and in the eighth inning, Jerry Burschett hit a three run homer putting New York out in front, five to four, with two down on the top of the night, and the Astros tied the game, and the nuts went into the last of the company on Burschett's second free run homer. The nuts from the Astros, again tomorrow night,

Senator Edward Brook of Massachusetts, and Clifford Case of New Jersey, accused the Johnson administration of not demanding a greater effort from the South Vietnamese themselves. Brook said there is no question that the United States commitment is a worthy one, but he said this is not our war. Case added the administration bears responsibility for not getting a greater military commitment from the South Vietnamese themselves. Here's the truth.
