Many times when you run into tough weather in the spring, as we did on our trip to the west coast when we were headquartering in Tampa, we ran into some rain two days of rain, and then we had some very cool weather. It makes it tough for the manager because it upsets the fishing rotation, and usually the youngsters who are trying to make the catching staff are those who suffer, and they're set back and lose their turn. So we're back on the good weather being right now, and the Yankees have taken the field, and there's Bud Daly, who's struggling to regain the form that he had a few years ago, and trying to gain a position on the Yankee ball club, but actually has to fight for a job. He picked only one inning last year, and that was in the opening game of the 1963 season

10:21in Kansas City. It was a very cool day, and something snapped in Daly's arm. Consequently, that led to an operation, and he has been on the comeback trail, he pitched five innings the other day, and it was a pretty good job.
