You know when people try a new food and suddenly it's like, okay, hold on. I got a new favorite food. That's the reaction a lot of people are having when they first try Cupid Mayo. Yeah, it's the one with the red cap and the little baby on the bottle. You've probably seen it at the grocery store and this Mayo is different. Most mayonnaise uses whole eggs. Cupid only uses egg yolks, which gives it this rich umami flavor. It's smoother, deeper, almost buttery. Once people try it, they start putting it on everything. Egg sandwiches, fries, burgers, chefs use it, restaurants use it, people who really care about flavor use it. Put it on just about anything. Then you'll understand Cupid, the original Japanese mayonnaise. Our mission is 24-7 access to fresh food for all. This is Hota Kati from Joy 101 with Hota Kati.
And that was Jalea Hemings. She and her husband created nourish and bloom market. When we decided to open this 24-7 AI grocery store, people thought we were crazy, but our first store was completely community-funded. And when your family and your friends bet on you, it hits a little differently. And the city of Atlanta took notice and decided to be part of the change. But the city actually put dollars behind that change. And so that the big box stores won't come will build our own. One community-funded store became several, but eradicating food deserts across the country takes more than a village. We won the AT&T Small Business Contest Gramp. And that was what we needed to open the first AI-powered shipping container, that grocery store in the country. Having a powerhouse like AT&T stand behind you, takes it to a whole new level. Connecting changes everything. AT&T. This is Troy Millens from Earnier Leisure. On Earnier Leisure, we're all about smart money moves. And here's one most people skip.

You know when people try a new food and suddenly it's like, wait. That's the reaction. A lot of people are having when they first try Q-B-Mayot. It's the one with the red cap and the little baby on the bottle.
You've probably seen it in the grocery store before. And if you've ever just walked past it, some people would say that's a huge mistake. Because this mayo is different. Most mayonnaise uses whole eggs. Q-B only uses egg yolks, which gives it this rich umami flavor. It's smoother, deeper, and almost buttery. Once people try it, they start putting it on everything. Egg sandwiches, fries, burgers, some fans even swear by dipping pizza crust in it. And once you notice it, you start seeing it everywhere. Chefs use it, restaurants use it. People who really care about flavor use it. Never try it, grab the bottle with the red cap next time you're at the store. Put it on just about anything, then you'll understand. Q-B, the original Japanese mayonnaise.
I sent you away with the compliments of the F&M's taper brewing company of Brooklyn. Brewers of America's oldest blogger, Bares taper. And also with the compliments of the American tobacco companies. America's leading manufacturer, cigarettes, on behalf of Lucky Strike. The best-facing cigarette you ever smoke. Now as the game gets underway for real enjoyment, have yourself a foaming glass of paper. It's real bare. We have a meeting at home right now between Manage Your Wall, all-Soonhan Manage Your Mail. It's meant to form parts for the night's ball game. And look, nationally excused for the dodges and the fillings is going to be open up there in just a very few moments. Let's give you a rundown now on the starting run. For the visiting dodges, it will be Jim Gilliam, at second place. Geno Saloli in La Fille. Duke Stutter in Sutterfield. Charles Fervillo in Whitefield. Gil Hatches at first place.
Randy Jackson at third. Roy Campanella. Will do the catching. Don Zimmer at shortstop and Don Nukham on the mound to do the pitching. Big Don, of course. They will fight over a player of the year last year in the nice league. 127 games and lost 7. For the fillings, it will be Richie Aisburn in Sutterfield. Chico Fernandez at shortstop. Ed Busci at first place. Rip Ropovsky in La Fille. Willay Jones at third place. Sam Lopada the catcher. Bob Bowman in right field. Chad Cazansky at shortstop and Robin Roberts on the mound to do the pitching. Those who have fired for the night's ball game. Dusty Boggets at the plate. Tom Garmin at first place. Hal Dixon at second and Ken Bertart is at third base. Brad now, Robin Roberts burning down a few warm up sauces and we'll have the nice
early season for the fillings with Idres underway. In the back of the room, the other club has got busy. The pirate speed to Giants 9-2. Milwaukee beat the Cubs 4-1 and St. Louis Speed Cincinnati 13-4. In American league activity, the Yankees beat Washington 2-1. Boston beat Baltimore 4-2. Chicago beat Cleveland 3-2. And Kansas City beat Detroit 2-1. So now on the mound, Robin Roberts, tune it up with Cazansky. Sam Lopada the practice place is second base. And standing by, ready to call the play by play for you for the F&M. Shaffer Brewing Company of Brooklyn and Shaffer Beer. Here's Hal Helfer. Hal, let's go with the season. Alright, Jane. Thank you very much and hi everybody. The 82nd National League season about to break forth and fill it out. You're where the first major league ball game was played. The first game in the National League. Was played right here at Philadelphia on the 22nd of April in 1876. Robert, why is the first picture to Gillian for Strike 1? That's what this one has begun.
Jim Gillian, who last year had an even 300 with 6 home runs and 43 runs better in. Is that there taking the next picture? That's what you're for Strike. The Robin Roberts seems to be those sharp self here tonight. As it begins, the season for the Philadelphia Phillies. Jim Gillian, standing in, hitting left hand, against the right hand of the Frings of Robert. There's a little fast for one honor hit deep to right field. Bob Bowman is going back on the Finder track and holds it down for the outs. So the 1957 season has now begun. One after the dodges here in the top half of any number one and the batter coming up is Geno Somole. This sort of culminates for Somole. A tremendous attempt this year to become a member of the dog your vult today. Geno Somole, who when he came to spring training this year, made one statement, very quiet. When he said one night we were sitting around talking, he said, this has got to be my year.
I've got to make it this year. We said to him, Geno, do you think you'll be in a starting lineup opening game? He said, I'm going to give it everything I've got. Geno Somole ladies and gentlemen stepping up to the plate. He hit 111 last year for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Had four runs battered in. Twings on the first pitch and hit the highest foul ball off the first baseline. That goes to the roof into the lights now out of play. This will be quite a day or a night as the case may be. A couple of young fellows on the field. That's Somole is one of them. Robert comes in with a side arm picked this one on him. A lot of the right of the plate. A little put a jigging over to the stands. Can he get it? He cannot. It's in the box. Somole is still up there swinging with the counter strike too. Lucky Bargit from Play Them Pyrrhm gives out a brand new baseball to Robin Roberts.
We're in the top half of the first inning. The opening game of the 1957 season. Robert comes out of to Somole. He's picked this one on him lined in the center field. Richie Aspern has arranged on it and holds it in. Somole hits them all well but lined up right to Richie Aspern in the center field. This is Troy Millens from Ernie Leisure. On Ernie Leisure we're all about smart money moves. And here's one most people skip. And it starts with and sheriffi. Most of us never shop our car insurance. The policy renews every year. Never try it, grab the bottle with the red cap next time you're out of the store. Put it on just about anything, then you'll understand. To be the original Japanese mayonnaise. Hey, it's Kelly Rowland. You may not know this, but I have eczema. So I get how it can steal your time. I let eczema take over when you can talk to your doctor about ebglyss. In the top half of the first inning, there are no base runners. Coming up to the plate now is juke's nutter. So during these prings I'm as is his cut through. Hit well a lightly. But the bell has rung and the chip does all their big and blue. Snotter has a determined step to which jaw these days. Rubber delivers the inciner swings and cuts the file off to the left of the plate and comes through the top of the roof out of the way. So balls one strike to come on juke's nutter. Shaper bear, very happy to be sending it to you tonight from Connie Max-State, Eman's from Adolfion. Well if you're relaxing right now with a tall two shaper, that's real bear. That unpacked ball is going on. Felt the third base run. Coming over for his young, good, the fans and he's got it. So all the first half of the first inning is over. And for the book's window, you have nothing to draw.
And the score at the end of the top half, all the first inning. So the dodges nothing, the not coming to that stomach of the fillet, have nothing. Gary's got something, that's my new man here. You know when friends stop into the first inning, it's part of the American way to make them sit right back and kind of feel at home. Man, that's where shaper bear does your proud. There's just so got away to make the folks feel welcome and the past around tall, cool golden amber glasses of shaper bear. It's your way of saying you want your friends to really enjoy themselves in your home. No question about it, because shaper is there at its best. Bear that's screwed only up rich, barley, and all. Tangy hops and others find not grill ingredients. Shaper, that's where you get the light, lively, satisfying flavor you want but don't always find. The little and the little of truly great bear. The next time you expect to plan all the neighbors together around your living room, make sure you have plenty of shaper bear on it.
For real enjoyment, make it shaper. It's real bear. Well, a couple of reals and solar that's working here tonight, Robin Roberts in the first inning didn't offer up a ball. It's the old strike. John Newton has a real good arm as far as that's the strike going to concern too. So here we go, last of the first, right back down. Richie Asperg and coming up as a lead off man for the Philadelphia Phillies. Last year he hit 303. Had three home runs and 50 runs better than. The children of the bus supplier and Mr. McCann, and has always a threat to drop the bunch down the third base wire. Busch Randy Jackson plays up shallow at third base. The Philadelphia playing straight away and up to deep to ask Bernie's big darn new complexity sign from Roy Campanella. Now let's see the Dodgers defensively for 1957. There's the fastball fired through the globe for ball one. Richie Asperg and to be followed by former Dodger Chico Fernandez, and then by Ed Bootsie, the first baseman up from the Miami ball club at the internationally.
Malcolm chicken dirt out of the mound. The Dodgers defensively don't you come on the mound 27 game 1N. He's better in 8th row at Campanella. Don comes the next pitch basketball. Five ball two. Two balls in those tight. The Dodger unveiled of Hodges at first place Jim Gilliam at second. That shortstop Don Zimmer, a big night for Don. And if he said just prior to the ball game, he said he was deeply thankful and grateful for having the opportunity of playing at shortstop for the Dodgers. But he hated to do so at the expense of a grand-guy name re. Therefore, his over to these first strikes. Which is really hope that a captain Reese is listening in at the St. George Hotel in Brooklyn. But he knows just exactly how the boy taking his place and out on the field feels about him. He wants him to come back just as soon as he finally can. Because Zimmer, well, Reese happens to be his either.
Bitches flung on there as a five-off hits the left field. You know, it's the only open-air ball line holds it in. You know how that one plays just right. That's when jumping in outside, bitched on the left field line and some old-age play to tight. Oh, there's one away in the last half of the first inning. Randy Jackson asserts for the Dodgers. That's when police are infield. The upfield of Gino Somali in left. Duke Snyder in center and Carl Perillo in right. Chico Fernandez, stepping up to the plate. As a Dodger last year, he hit two-twenty-seven. Hit one home run, man. Had nine runs better than him. He takes a crossfire that's under the ladder is good for his strike. Fernandez, the right hand here, batsman crowds. Dan's about three-quarters deep at the plate. This is a big opportunity for Chico. He is starting his first big league season as a starting. That ball, going on the Chico and popped back the foul to the stand.
Strike two. That's for us, I'll ever forget to look on Chico's face when he was informed that he'd been sold to the Philadelphia Phillies. Sort of mixed emotions. He didn't want to leave the ball, but who would want to leave a bunch of guys like these guys? Overhand curve ball is tied to Chico. I'd off the face for ball one. Two that moving into Philadelphia, where they were hungry for infield talent, he would have an excellent opportunity to play a lot of baseball and start his career solid. So he's done it to play right now, number 45, leaning over with a count of 1 ball to strike, with Don Uber. Big Don starts his pumping motion, here's the 1-2 pitch. Overhand fast ball, swing on and just down into the ground foul. Count space, 1 ball and 2 strikes. Boymoses, during the coaching Don at first space for Philadelphia. At third, form a dodger pitcher with low weight. Mayo Smith, runs his ball club from the bench.
Now look at the sweatings. He's 1-2 pitch to keep open and down it comes. That ball inside off the hip, ball 2. Two balls to strike. The way it's been throughout the road, to see Fernandes in the red and white uniform of the Phillies. The Obatuto delivery. You can pop it in there and Fernandes takes the tensile out of chest ball 3. No score in the ball game. We're in the last half for first inning, the Phillies have 1 out, no base runners. Fernandes footballed it with the count of 3 balls and 2 strikes. The Don Yusum out on the line from the dodges tonight, starts his motion.
His 3-2 pitch is whipped in there. Over the whole strike three. Open and this badly. Ferns in walk away. Yusum wrecked up the first strike out of the ball game. Coming out to the plate now, we'll be Ed Souchi. He spells his name B-O-U-C-H-W-E. Edward Francis Souchi. Souchi. I think the pronunciation for his name actually is Souchi. It was recalled that the Phillies from Miami on the Fourth of September last year. Left hand hitter. Flings on the first pitch and spouted it to the roof off the third base side, just like what. War was born in 1933. All that living in Montana, you know, was the Miami Florida way played ball last year. Graduated from the worst and quiet high score out in Spokane back in 51. Swings on the next pitch and dribbles up the first base line, Paul.
No ball to strike. The boy who went to Washington State College and then went to Gonzaga, played baseball for Paul basketball. Ed Boucher French Canadian English descent stands about three quarters deep at the plate. Take a look at a picture, not just one ball on two strikes. Souchi began his organized baseball career with Paul Can, although it came in the National League, 52, and then he was on the National Service List until 55, when he came back to his connective in the Eastern League. 56 years was with Miami and was up for nine games for the Phillies last year. Swings on the slow curve and Paul took it. One ball on two strikes. Last year with Tomadolfi hit 273 and with Miami as the International League,
he paired 144 ball games in batter 294. That's Mayor Smith giving him a good look over this year and an opportunity to start tonight as the Tomadolfi regular. Ed Boucher. No complexity swings come into the pass ball and it's up above the shoulders. Two balls to strike. That's the count on Boucher with two down. No base runners in the last half of the first inning and no score and Schrefer beer sending it all to you from Connie Max Stadium down Tomadolfi way. Hope and take tomorrow but come Thursday. It'll be the home opener with Pittsburgh Pirates, that it's for you. Hope you've got your ticket. Two to three, every fastball. Call strike three. Fire right in off the pitch. Welcome. Nice to walk off the mound as he picks up his second strike out tonight. And the first inning for Tomadolfi nothing across the score at the end of one. It's a dodger. Nothing. Just Tomadolfi's fillies have nothing.
But now, Jerry, what do you got for it? So you don't have one of the handy things about the Schaefer 6 pack is that they're so easy to spot in the store. You just look around for scenes of folks doing the things folks do fishing, having a picnic, working in the stop, watching TV, enjoying a glass of Schaefer beer in each of these situations. Those are the pictures right on the sides of the Schaefer 6 pack. Pictures of enjoyment, real enjoyment. Naturally, they go hand in hand with what's inside the Schaefer 6 pack. The real beer flavor that gives you so much enjoyment. So when you stop by the store, pick up the Schaefer 6 pack or two. Just look for the white background and the pictures of young folks enjoying themselves. You'll enjoy Schaefer yourself. It's real beer. Well, there we go on the second inning car for alone.
The skill hudges and Randy Jackson first free-do the face drop in Roberts goes right back down. Last year in the National League, Brooklyn's right field of car for a little, very study ball player. About a 289. He had 21 home runs and 83 runs better than in. Against the fails, he hit 268 and the spring time after a late start. He settled for a 254 batting ever. Carle right hand hitter standing in and Roberts. Big square shoulder right hander delivers. Let a fast ball that misses outside for ball one. Rubbin Roberts on the mountain stand little pad of behind the plate. At Bushia first base, Deczosanski second. The short shot, Chico Fernandez sent a third for the Phillies. Puttin head Jones. Let the outfield for you in a moment. Side on curve ball, as outside and low. The Uralo's count is two balls in no straight. Aught of left field, Ripper Falski for tomato, a new face here at City of Bradley Lov.
In center field, Richiaz Fern and right field Bob Fomens. Roberts ready, delivers two and nothing. Side on curve and burloh fouls it back to the screen. Two balls one straight. Those scoring this one here tonight. However these scores with that, the new and head, Milwaukee beating Chicago 4-1. St. Louis defeating Cincinnati 13-4. And Pittsburgh taking the Giants 9-2. Roberts ready, two and the plate for burloh. Take the pitches outside by shape of ball three. Three balls one straight on curve burloh. Who now looked around and checked up with Herman, coaching down the third base. See what kind of sign is on, if any. Roberts, two to the three one delivery. Down it comes, fat ball, rep deep into the left field. Back and up forward is a ball, you can't get it. He can not hit in the left field, fans. Is it not, that's why it's not quite make it.
Right up against the board. The left fielder was able to make three jump and make the catch. The ball repulsed, he handles that one. He started to look up, go that ball were gone. And then suddenly reached up and nailed it. The off rillow was out on a high fly ball driven deep to the wall and let's feel. Kind of hard that ball settling down out of the night to see exactly where it has gone. Really have to watch the fielders. The battery is wedged with one out, it's on top of the second inning. Roberts, liver's fat ball, it's low enough side for ball one. The ball looked almost to the moment. The off rillow had really got to start it. The 11 rubber, ready to pitch again now to Gilhazoo on the 1-0 count. It's just one on, there's a hard fly ball hit out into short set of field.
Coming on for the goal, spring calling for the goal, spring making catch. So two out, and the top of the second inning. The bottom out will be Randy Jackson. Randy Jackson hit 274 last year. That's nine for Sonny's points more than Hodges. We've preceded him here in the bottom order tonight. Had eight home runs and 53 runs better than that Randy. Right hand hitters, takes a lot of fat ball over for strike. Two down, the bases are empty, there is no score. Roberts back with a 3-4 over hand fastball, and that's fouled into the stand. Off the first base side. The ball is too straight, we can't remember many on Randy Jackson.
Two out, that on Bet you up there. Number two, Randy Jackson's the plate. We're in the second inning, there are two outs, there's no score. That on, the spring calling for the better roller down the third Jones off. We've left place it up to the first, the first and that's all for Jackson. Broken back roller to third base. Are they hardest and modest hit for home? So far off, the sky raven Roberts with burritos drive deep to the wall and let's feel. Look for the moment his old was all the way out. Let's see if that's the second is over with nothing at cross for the dodges. In the squad at the end of the inning and a half, it's without you, nothing. The solid health you fill in have nothing. Gary, get off as the mark of a great picture is being able to give the catchers just the kind of a pitch he calls for.
And when you think about it, well that's the same way with brewing beer. The mark of a great brewer is being able to give the customer just the kind of beer he calls for. Well, that's exactly what the safer people have the noise while well over a century. You just give the signal for a tall golden amber glass of safer and you'll get exactly what you like in there. Yes sir, the light and dusty flavor you want, the boat always finds. That's the way safer is brewed. It's brewed carefully, expertly, to develop all the true beer caricature and smooth, satisfying flavor you expect in there. This is Troy Millens from Earn Your Leisure. Second and ink will pulse you the battery under your genders out. So pulse you hit the mart handed. Last year it's about 277, had 11 home runs and 55 runs started in. Look at marty, comes to him with a back ball, a little high, but ball 1. Last half of any number two, repulsed you to be caught by Jones and then by Stan Lopez. So far this has turned out to be quite a duel.
Fire switches are concerned. Duke of money, comes down one and all. With a fastball there's a line shot given to the sales. You know some only cases over near the line of the wall. Up with it fires in and it's a long single. War is a pocket. You're the fillings and a pocket gets the first place blow. In the meeting of these two clubs tonight. Coming up now is Jones, third baseman, right hand header. Jones lives here hit 277, had 17 home runs and 78 runs started in. A pocket leads to first, but it just made to the plate. The line of fastball is over for strike 1.
By just holding the corner at first base on repulsing. We're up to ready to move. No conjecture. Now the liver's a plate. Jones looks at the slow curve and that thing's outside. One ball and one strike. Jones checking up signs, who went a little wide down at third base. The repulsing is first as he stands also. Wall of Moses searching him off down there. I just hold him on. Looking to the liver's the one of those at the pitch out. We're capping all the fires down the gill in the second baseman. They're down in and then the ball is off. And the baseline is immediately put on by hand victim. The overpulsing draws his life at second base on Jim Gilliam's error.
So I can't for another. It's fired at ball in there and they had him. Overpulsing is on and second base. They're on Jim Gilliam. First arrow of the beat. Jones up there with a count of two balls, one strike. Down right at the pitch, one on and off to the right field. They hit coming over the top realon. The round is rounding third and coming into the score. Fighting in the second with a double. Jones. Two on number one off to him and the fillet is laid in here and they last that. At the second inning. But the two of one did up in Jones and second base having doubled in the run. And lost out of the catcher standing in for his first that baton season.
He hit 267 last year, 32 home runs, 95 runs, set it in. That's my very severe thought. Right hand hitters, foul pit for his pitch into the ground. One. One of nothing filled it out here. Last half of the second inning. Newf him to the stretch to check other runner at second. Switches the place, low padded takes, the slow curve is outside. One ball one strike to stand on catcher stand, low padded. A single followed by an RM. And then a double the right field by Jones. There's scored, go it out of his first run. And there's scored the first one of the ball game. Newf him takes a look back at Jones in second.
Deliver the play to the baton on the lead up curve ball and his swung on and fouled back to the screen. One ball to strike on stand, low padded. All this could be a hair raise in evening down here from it up in. Hope you've got plenty of shaper on hand. Lean back and relax. Stay right with it. Two comes one, two pitch. Down the right. The third ball is high. Two balls to strike count on stand, low padded. One deck to go next to Bob Bowman. And gate to just tuned in with this. We're in the last half of the second inning. And the fillers are leading one to nothing. With Jones the second base, nobody else. Two comes that, delivers two, two. There's the pass ball, swung on, fouled.
All this will come to the room. That's out of place. Two balls and two strikes. In the very first inning, when the dodgers came to bat, Gillian fly to right. Somali lined up to Ashburn and Center, and there's Smatterfowled out to third baseman Jones. But nothing across. The delays went gladly as Ashburn flies the left. The Somali and the Fernandez and Bouchie both struck out. Then the dodgers went down one, two, three in a second. Last ball hit down across the sharpest shortstop. The play by Zimmer is to Randy Jackson for the target's third base on the runner coming in. So it's a fieldest choice. Having Jones down from Zimmer is to third baseman Randy Jackson. And I'll play the low zam and by Randy Jackson. I'll have to front runner and play for that on it first base. One away here in the last half of a second. That brings on Bob Thoman, up from Miami.
He was in six ball games last year for the Philadelphia Phillies. That was 188 for him. So come deliver to this right hand hitter. That just outside for ball one. For Miami and internationally last year played 126 games in their outfield. About a 278. If 19 hole runs for him, had 81 runs batted in. Daniel come with a little of a pressure taken off his shoulders. Now the front runner having been gotten. Looks over low pattern at first base. Then delivers the plate beside on pass ball and it's cracked over the corner first strike. Bob Bowman hitting number seven in the order. He's the Philadelphia right fielder. As a wide spread stance. Stand about three quarters deep at the plate. This might be open stance. Hold that that weight out of the mouth.
But up there for him. He's going on. Hit down the jack. And he knocked it down as he goes through his left. Now he gets it. He can make no throw. At a goal as a single and we have runners now at first and second. That's the number three. Bob knew come all three of them coming here into second inning. Go with one half. The Philadelphia Phillies now have runners at first and second. Their batter is pitch advanced. Their big 12 second baseman. Go with his left hand. Last year there's a two batter two eleven. No come checks his runners. Deliver his curve ball. His answer swings positive in the right field. Coming on for it is far for a long runner's buckle back to the bases to hold on. Number two. The second inning and the batter coming up now will be Robin Roberts.
In 2019 and losing 18 last year. Wicked up a batting percentage of 200. He had one home run and eight runs batted in. And Robert went to Michigan State. And we've been college now university. He was the first baseman. And we're just a point of young man when his college baseball coach insisted he'd become a pitcher. Runners at first and second. Six two left hand hitting Roberts is low when I've got ball one. Look him gets that again. And second and second. The second and second.
There was one in line. There were two men left on. The score at the end of two full running to play tonight at 20 max stadium in Philadelphia. The home standing Philadelphia Phillies have won. Ask your doctor about ebglyss and visit ebglyss.com or call 1-800-LiliRX or 1-800-545-5979. Here's how. Gory Campanella standing in. As you might have heard it. Gory Campanella has tried to solve curveball and this is with an outside to ball 1. Campanella had 2-19 last year, was a rather disappointing year. For Rory. But it's hoped that he's in A1 shape now. He swings on his pitch and hits a high drive to right center field for a ballman. Back to the scoreboard, leaps out and holds it down right to the scoreboard. Ball was back. The ballman was able to get under it. Oh, one off. It's off the third inning.
That'll bring along Zimmer. Don Zimmer last year hit 300. And he was, uh, sent with the National League champions to run spattered in Novo Mrundi. It's 2.75 and spring exhibitions and tagged the ball well. Robert's liver's doing the pitch is outside of all 1. Do you know that hand hitter? If you're keeping score with a sanayate-be run, they've come it off. He's picked up in the first inning. It's not figure 2 have been earned. So none earned run. They lead one nothing. Robert's liver's dim swings. I'm going to get the whole of this long drive deep into left center field. A well hit ball and it is in the left center field. Stand for a home run for Don Zimmer to tie up the ball game. What a little fellow really leaving him about.
That's the first hit and the first run off Robert. And I can bet you right now, Mr. Doggett, that the fellow cheering a lot for this kid who just hit that home run is Captain Fee Wee-Ree. Well you're right Al. There it is. Sean Newcombe feeling better about the entire thing. Thank you. It was up there right now. Robert comes in and he'll come a big left hand hit. And he jumps back to take a fastball, brushing the chest for ball 1. Well the Dodgers have begun their home run spree. Police let the manager Walter often hopes to be a home run spree. The 1957. Best ball the Newcomer's high in account. It's two balls no straight. Well let's see, Brad, the one that was just hit by Don Zimmer and the National League had posted four home runs for their openers today. Thomas hit one for Pittsburgh.
Logan hit one for Milwaukee and Bobby Swift and Wally Moon hit four of the St. George Cardinals. That on fastball the Newcomer chips the football. Like no scouts who balls in one strike. Boy I bet you the happiest guy in the world is that Don Zimmer sitting down at the bench right now. He was all grinning here to here. This is happy as he can be. This is happy as you can be too if you want to look at that shape or happen. Enjoy it and the ball game same time. The shape is real bear. Two ball one strike count. Robert deliverers, Newcomer's Queens and Todd has one to set a field that he has been going back to field going back. Reaches up in the night and holds it down. Shoot down in the third inning. Dodgers they scored one time to tie it up.
Don Zimmer, Lena Nendorone hitting all run. We had occasion tonight to ask Don Zimmer in an interview. He was standing in against a fellow who was throwing at fastball. I didn't bother him because of the true beating he's previously had. He said no, he didn't. He proved it tonight. Jim Gilliam up there swings on the first trick and hit the high fly ball. The deep right field Bob Bowman back on the center track. All good in. All the Dodgers there and they top half for third inning. Tie it up. One run, one hit. Don Zimmer's home run. There is nobody left off. For the score at the end of two and one half innings of play. It's kind of like stadium in Philadelphia. It's the book from Dodgers one. They're home standing, so get out of your fillies, have one. What do you think they've fallen? You've got your popular score. There are a lot of reasons now, but I guess they all add up to one thing.
People enjoy it. You can say the same thing about shape or fear. Many reasons why it's good and people really enjoy it. Oh sure, it's just your pleasure made out of the finest natural ingredients, including rich bottom all than the most electable hot blossom stone. And it's made in a slow careful way by skilled room actors. It's back with all of shape is 115 years of experience. So, Jeremy, or it's got flavor, man, and that light, that's the exciting flavor you always want, but don't always find it. Oh, no wonder people enjoy it. It's beer at its best. The brother, why don't you join the happy throng? Try shape or bear. You'll enjoy it. You'll always enjoy shape or bear. It's real bear. Well, the Dodgers have the long range artillery going. That time, against Mr. Robin Roberts, two fly balls deep to right, one deep to center, and one lost in the Westfield stands,
and the side up ball game has one and one. So, we're ready to play an hour on the bottom of the third right back to Owl. In the last half of the third inning, it'll be the lead-off man for the Philadelphia Phillies. Richie Ashburn starting to second, batting around. Ashburn flies the left in the first. Flashball, far dual uphand hitter is inside off the hip for ball one. Good game, Seth. The liver is Richie Ashburn. Flakes the flashball, far through it, and he is in his counter-one ball one straight. Randy Jackson playing up tight. A third base. He's starting against the bun. That field fans slightly around the left and playing rather shallow.
You can deliver one one, let up that ball, as it passes them on, the second base, Gilliam. Double to that, far is over the first and time in which he Ashburn is up. So, in the bottom of the third inning, one out for the Phillies, then coming up will be Chico Fernandez. Struck out in the first inning, born, down your foot. You can have two strikeouts, has given up three-day hit, has walked nobody. Robert has given up one hit in one run, that was Jimmers' home run. He's walked nobody, and has struck out no one to far. Chico Fernandez, sitting right handed, takes the fastball, far through one to the letters for strike one. Double to that one strike. You can take your son from Campanello, starts his motion, kicking throw.
Down it comes, overhand fastball, wants it out the right field, so all four of them are off, and his right comes up three steps. You have to. Shoot on, last half of the third inning, about an hour's end, Boche. The first placement, struck out in the first inning to retire the shot. That Boche standing in, a stand hitters light, he opens stance down the first baseline. Duke and pumps one, kick-fine throws a soft curve, and floats it right through there for a strike. Duke and gave him all the motion in the world, no speed whatsoever. You've got it up there. Shoot on, last half of the third, no base runners. They always won the Dodgers one.
Start on back ball, that's right under the chin, who's a hit through the earth. Come on, an open date for the Brooklyn Dodgers, but on Thursday, well that's it. Opening day at Epitfield, the split pirates are in time, they want those giants today. Let our pitches go on outside, count to two balls one strike now, on Boche. Final score, that ballgame with Pittsburgh 9 and New York 2 and Antonelli was the losing pitcher. Antonelli, Grissmann, Jones worked in that one and Bob Flynn went all the way for the pirate, promised it a whole month for the buckles. So he got himself started in the right direction too, it was like Zimmer. Let our pitch slung on and fouled it. Two balls and two strikes, we count on First Basement Bush and the number three hit him in the Philadelphia order. The base is a empty in the last half of the third inning.
Philadelphia's Dupers blood tonight with an under and run in the second inning. Zimmer went right back out and got it back for Brooklyn. He drilled one into the left center field stands. Well, man, two to pitch, which a take close like three, tied right in off the pitch. So that's all for Philadelphia in the last half of the third inning. And for Newcoma first strikeout, scored the end of three, from it off you one man, Brooklyn has one. The Milwaukee waves behind Warren Spahn beat the Chicago Cubs for the one. The Lions go on Milwaukee four and they hit snow errors and Chicago won run for its one error. Rice got Valentinetti for Chicago and Spahn all the way for Milwaukee. Johnny Logan the home for the braze and the sixth would win on. And St. Louis, the clockwork Cincinnati 13 to four as her Wemar won all the way against Johnny Clifstein, Tyler, growth Freeman.
Bobby Smith, the home and the sixth one on for St. Louis, while they won on the eighth was two on 13 17 0 for St. Louis, 48 and one for Cincinnati. In the American league, the Yankees beat Washington two to one, two on seven hits one error. While the Yankees and one on six hits one error for Washington was four against Rob. And Boston beat Baltimore four to two, Chicago beat Cleveland three to two and Kansas City beat Detroit two to one. That's the scores on the shape of scoreboard now back to play on here again as well. In the top half of a four thinning, Gina Somole who lined sharply to center field to reach the Aspern and first and in comes up for a second at bat in 57. Robert Cutspies him and Mrs. Lowen outside for ball one. Gina Somole to be followed by Snyder and then by Forrillo. Robert's back with an overhand curve ball and some... We'll come and help you one run three hits. No errors for the judges. One run, one hit, one error. All tied at one a feet. Do you know Somole?
No errors. The lead off man in the floor. Looked to the slow curve. A little outside. Two balls and one strike. The off field for Somole. The rest of the word has gotten around. They're playing him deeper. Then they would have played him last year. The two one delivered to Geno. Fastball. Geno wraps it. Align shot. Right into the drop of second base. Because ask you who makes a life-leaving catch. One out. Drop half before thinning. But twice Somole is hit the ball well, but he's hit it right at somebody. Here's Duke Snyder. That up. The curve is over the blow to Duke for ball one. Snyder retired. Decided in first inning, fouling out the third baseman, Willie Jones. Swings on the next pitch and fouls the back off LaPada shin guard. One ball and one strike.
Is a guy now on Snyder. Last year Snyder had a grand total of 43 home runs. They hit in 101 runs. About a 2.92 and against Philadelphia. He hit 277. Rubber strives the fastball and this is low on outside. Do a left hand hitter. Two ball one strike count on the Duke. One out top of a fourth. No base runners. All locked up at one of these. Shaper beer. Very happy to be sending this to you. From Kahnemak Stadium in Philadelphia. Rubber stitches. Let up. Here's high. Snyder's count three balls and one strike. Dersity the openered home. And Saturday. That's Lady's Day. Fitzburg and Sunday big double hitter. Fitzburg par. Fitz is hung on. They do the other side of the swing. There's a line drive over the upcut double first base.
And push that into the corner. Joe Snyder is digging for seconds. He finds he's in there with a double. A double ripped up the right field side. Snyder is on a second base with a second hit off. Rubber and Rubber. That push he went up as far as he could go. Ball goes over the finger tip. The ball hits off Rubber and Rubber's head to the next two base blows. John Zimmer's home run with one out and nobody on in the third inning. And it was hit with a 40 end of left center field fan. And now Snyder's ripper up the right field side for two. The better is Carl Farillo, who almost hit a home run in the second inning. Slide deep to the left. Robert Reddy. Deliver his side on curve ball. Farillo hammers it out on the right. That's gonna feel like it could be in the alley into the scoreboard. It is up against the scoreboard. Farillo's digging for second fighters, who open around 30, coming on into score. And it's a two, the one ball game in favor of the Dodgers.
Farillo doubles up the alley and right center to the scoreboard. So giving the run better then. That is hit number three of Rubber. Run number two and the Dodgers lead it. Two one. With Farillo in pretty good scoring position second base field Hodges. He's gonna fly ball to center field of Richie S for in a second. Coming up for his second at that. Robert checks Farillo at second. Deliver the plate Hodges takes the sweeper over for a strike. Robert's right back with a let up curve. That snaps off outside. One ball and one strike. That's the count on Hodges. Quite an opener in Philadelphia tonight. The 82nd year National League play.
That I'm clear was outside. Ball two, the count on Hodges, two and one. That's as far as age has concerned. I just begin to match up with Jay for the first time. I'm going to play in the second half of the season. I'm going to play in the second half of the season. I'm going to play in the second half of the season. I just begin to match up with Jay for the first time. They've been going 115 years. That's real bear too. That's as old as what? That I'm clear just outside Hodges for ball three. Down the ball pen. Got some Philadelphia activity. Got a right hand right there for the one. A jumbo jim her. Formerly with the giant. Now Robert's ready. Side on touch ball and Hodges.
Trucked that up and gipples it up the third baseline foul. Three balls and two strikes. Due to one in the score, the Dodgers lead it. The silly scored and then earned run in the second. And the third with one out and nobody on. Jim were hitting number eight in the Dodger quarter. The right with one in the left center field stands to tie it up. And here on the fourth inning with one out, it's not her double. Down the right field line and frillers. Hit him hard. But this one on the hard just goes along. Dry it's even the left field. It's starting to play soft now and both foul. Oh yes Mr. Dodger. I just say that when they do get the number on the ball here tonight, they're really spanking it. Three hits the Dodgers for that. All of them extra base blows. Home run and two doubles.
Off we're low stepping off the second base. One out. Robert's flippers aside on pitch. And Hodges starts to go check himself in time and takes the pitch low for ball four. Now there's the first three-ticket. Robert's toss it up. Shoot a one. There were the Brooklyn Dodgers here and it's not half for four-thinning. Randy Jackson. A bit of all wide of third and Jones made a nice stop and threw him out. Jackson's coming up now for his second at bat. One out. Runners at first and second. Camp another on deck to follow. Robert's in a jam. Big Jim Hearn and the Philadelphia Bowl fan. The side on curve. Jackson laid in there for a strike. Robert's 60 signs from the batter.
Hodges leading off at first, follow at second. Side on first ball is dribbled up the third base line. After all, that's foul. Jones picked it up and fires it back to the mound. The Robert. Hold 36. Robert and Robert. Again, he was organized baseball career in 1948. Wilmington in the state league. He went up in 1948 with some of the Philadelphia two. Jackson after the next pitch hits the foul ball to the light tower off the first base side, so on top of the roof. Jackson's counter strike two. Those of this guy, Robert, has been a fixture with these Philadelphia players since 1948. He's good in 20 games for them.
He's been grinding them out every cent. Fires in there and Jackson again dribbles it away. Again up the third base side, foul. Now, it holds right on to round each strike two. Drop the fourth inning one out. Sniper doubled down the right field side right along the line over first base. And Fred O'Hitwin at the alley and right center to the scoreboard for a couple and that's up snaiter home. Fred was on a second. And Hodges is on a first now having been walked on the free two pitch. Robert's red eight checked up for the winner. The winner is the liver. Jackson takes outside ball one. Jim Haring continues to crank up down on the Philadelphia both end. But doesn't too often you see somebody backing up Robert. Usually, it's Robert's backing up somebody else. One to delivery. A low curve ball outside.
No matter how you get out of the knee to block it that's ball two. Got on Jackson to ball two strikes two on number two at that. And the score is two to one and favor the dodges. I don't see what Robert's stoppers up the Jackson right hand here. The two to pitch down it comes. Jackson's wings are it and pops it up. This one falls round off the left of the plate coming down as Jones and Jones had it. That's the second dodge drop in the fourth inning. Daniel Patta could have handled that also but Jones had a better shot at it and the Le Patta kept calling him on. Take it. Jones did. But that and how is Roy Campanella? Campy's thankful well in the third inning is first time up. It is deep to right field and ball went one and back by that high board center. I've sent Jones board tonight all of them.
Swipping curve ball to Campanella is low and outside. Ball one. 329 feet down the right field line. Here's 334 down the left side. 447 is center field. Big of dodge ball part. Robert's delivers Campanella takes. Stuck that ball by a two first try. One ball and one strike. The ball lights are in right center by the 42 foot scoreboard. 405 feet. So the odd field is in the wrong particular either center field or right on curve. The Campy's come out of it. Roy spinning all the way around but he didn't get that one. One ball to strike. It's down on Campanella here in the top half before sending with two down two long one runs. Go out in the dodges leading to the one. I'll just go in right first. We're all in right second.
Tight on let it come out of the strike freeze. All right. Robert, we got this first strike out of the night. This is Troy Millens from Earn Your Leisure. One run. There were two base hits. We know errors in two men or left on. For at the end of three and one and a half innings of play. It's the Brooklyn Dodgers 2 and the homestanding Philadelphia Phillies have won. The end of the last round is about any number four. Rip or a poke coming up there. You got the first hit off. You come back in these fucking innings. You alive at second. When Gilliam dropped the ball from there. Take a pitch outside corner for strike one. Then came in the story on the run. When Jones doubled the right field. Rip or poke in right hand here. Seems to carry all of his weight on his right leg.
Leans into the pitch and swings on it. From the high fly ball into sharp left center field. The center comes over and calls for it. We've flown away and the center takes it to the out. One out, last half of the fourth inning. About an hour Jones who doubled the right field. The drive in. Rip or poke in. Willie who started back in 1947 with Sarah Ho. Got on bad form. One run hit down the short. Got him. Up with it. Fires the first base and that's all for Jones. So everyone has gathered around at Faw's not for that base and identification. This is a booklet on your radio network. Dial 1460 W.O.K.O. All the name of the capital district's most talked about station with downtown studios in the hotel Wellington. It's now 9 o'clock W.O.K.O. Time. Keenson, Jambo, 8 tomorrow night. From 8 until 10.30. The batter to play now is 2 down.
Nobody honest and Lopetta. Right hand hitter. Batting from a crash takes its curve. Slow and outside the ball one. Lopetta was the base runner in a second on the field as choice when Zimmer came up with these hard smash-and-shut stuff. And fired to Randy Jackson's third base for the day. Out. On Jones trying to move over to third. You won nothing to deliver to Lopetta. It's taken low and outside the ball too. We said we'd tell you why we always alerted the boys around the network. I might remember many times going down the hall for a glass of water or something and all of a sudden somebody's seen through the network. They're lying to you and why don't we somebody there to make station breaks. What's the don't think you like that too well? Let up curve ball is over the load of Lopetta on it. Ball three. Three balls and most of them.
Jerry laughing about that business of the standby identification. But you miss more than one do's here. Three nothing to deliver to you. A pass ball and Lopetta inside off the chest of ball four. Now what's true down Lopetta has walked. That'll be the first base on balls given up by Newcom. Each such an eye is to render the base on balls. Bob Bowman, right hand hitting right fielders. Come striding up to the plate. Another single wide of third space. Randy Jackson was able to knock it down but he had no play back in the second inning. Bob Bowman aware of number ten. Looked over first base and par to the plate. It's packed when it's through there first strike. This is not the only year that Bowman has had a look over by Philadelphia.
You may recall that in 55 he played three games. For the filling. For the Syracuse for 141 ball games in 55, 56. Miami and Philadelphia for six games. Swing on the fifth and hit the line to add in the right field. For the runner comes in to play it on the ship. The patta goes to second base and holds on quickly as for low slow comes into Gimgillia. Bowman the single and right field. For the fillers who are trying to touch their way back into this one in the last half before winning. They have two down two on and the batter is set to Zanci. That slide to right field in the second inning is over one tonight. This is all of the best he's had. Another par to the whole for his target is a base ball for him. Three highly. And it's back in 51.
Climbed up to Philadelphia in the early 53. Goal can even end it. Looked over for par to ball and hit second side third and it's on there for a base hit. The patta comes in with four to side up to the goal. The ball goes in to third base. The comment lies in there moving around from first. On the single and left field. Goal's out up. Number five, bring number two up. Fluffing out of it. Fluffing out of it, get the round of the ball.
All side of two of these. Run as the first to third and two down. And the second to sixth to Robert. Low ball one. Down comes the fifth to Robert. Take the floor one for two. Another wing thing going here tonight. Down comes the fifth to Robert. Take the floor one for two. Another wing thing going here tonight. The ball game has been tied up and the situation has been set up at two or down here in the fourth inning. Robert's waiting.
Do nothing. Go over. Do I have a swing? Hit the slide ball. This right here is what I'm going back to. Back to that. That's it. The ball for the ball. Robert's is digging for a second base. He makes it in a stand up. Two five and two in the score. Down in the book and both and right handed down fifth and gets up and starts to work on Earth. Three runs have been scored here by these skills and the fortenies they can run back to take the lead now. Four to two. Four runs on six to two.
That's up big. You. That's your two runs on three hits. Robert's the second after Dr. D. S. Burn. He's also two tonight. You come right in. Do you live with a soft curve and I've pointed to low wind side of all one. Actually I put forward of the weight. Actually ahead of it. Robert's plays off like a new conjection. I'm going to pass ball. Nice one. Take it across the Bernice for a strike. One ball and one strike.
So for the second time in tonight's ball game, the fort out the city is leading it. Now four to two there. They'll come checked up a second and then deliver the soft curve. It puts over the outside twice as many as the cold strike two. I've been carrying around and mumbled something to play down par at the F.D. Bucket. Sixth man have come to bat. The fortenings this is the seventh. Bill's a scored three times. Three basic. You come back ball and I swing. It's on it and I'm going to feel a line. Three hits in the walk mat. Mixed in there with a pass ball. And given the fort out the city is an opportunity.
They see the bonnet in this now for two. They were of the mayor's mischarges. Now the fort to jump and see if it changes. Soft curve ball. Some line and line after right field. Willow coming on makes the grab. So action is up. Finding out the top willow in right field. So three big ones for some at all. One three basic. It was a man left who know where it was the last one pass ball. The fort is in the fourth. The fortenings are played. The fortenings have four. The fortenings have two. The first half of this game was shot to you by the F&M Shaper Brewing Company of Brooklyn. Brewers are a shaper bear. America's oldest blotger bear. And I would be dodged straightening and it's when they come to back the top half for their spinning. It'll be a little dime dimmer stepping up there but stepping up to the microphone, four lucky striking for the play by play. Here's your red auction. Thanks, Alan. Hi, again, everyone. Zimmer stepped in at a home run last time. First picture is going on. Zimmer will be the third baseline bouncesbyl, played by Jones and it's just a long strike
for Zimmer. A little dime making his big league debut tonight with a home run and the lowest fans in the third inning. The Diju 4 and the two and the 24 and the Phillies got three runs in the fourth inning off, Downe Nukam. And the Dijus were real busy against Robin Roberts in the top half of the fourth but let's two men stand it. The Phillies got their runs in that fourth after two outs. Zimmer back with a strike one count. Downe Nukam on deck and then Jim Gilliam to follow. Line cloud on hand and added Philadelphia. Robin delivers and it's a little on the outside corner hit the corner for a call strike. And on Zimmer it's nothing in two. Robert Roberts on the firing line for the Philadelphia Phillies. Jones for an endous defense can foresee the infielders. The post-gay expert in bowling in the upfield. There's a curveball up high and it's ball one strike two.
One and two at Zimmer. The Phillies are going to have six basic but Idris have three. The one two pitch on the way. Outside again with a pass ball. The count even just two two. Two balls, two strikes. Number 23 shortstop down Zimmer. And it's come curveball. This is again in the count so full now three and two. So the string is out to Zimmer. Jim Gilliam is in the on deck circle off to the right side. The Nukem is doing that. Idris occupied the dugout back at first. Here's the pitch to zoom.
Outside ball four and Zimmer is on with a walk. That is the second walk given up by Robin Roberts. So the Idris have one on. Nobody out and down. Nukem comes up out of the dugout. Down here on deep to set a field. Down here is a number thirty six on the man. Robin Roberts likewise. Number thirty six. Nukem's point left. Robert also points left. And Robert's children should they run through the double to the right field wall. And the bottom of the fourth. Four to two of the field leads. Nukem waiting. Runnin' on first Zimmer moves off. Here's the pitch. Robin a drive to right field is gonna be into a base hit. Dome it over to cut it off. Here's Zimmer taking the third and it's been standing as Nukem rips the finger to the right field.
And the Dodgers now are trying to get something going. So Don Nukem is first hit for the Dodgers base hit number four. Runnin' on its first and third and it's gonna be to Gilliam. Gilliam has tied out twice the right field of Bob Bowman and both fans fairly deep. The Gilliam steps in with two on. Nobody out. Stop at the fifth and he's. Gilliam's got one in a second and three in the fourth. But I just got one in the third and one in the fourth. Robert's got the third now. Let's catch your stand, little batter. Nukem off first and we're off third and here's the pitch to Gilliam. Pull on him. It's strike one. Robin Roberts has one strike out of walk two and there's a lot of four base hit.
So he doubles the batter in furlough and the homerun by Zimmer. Here's the drive to right for a base hit. Zimmer in the score and look him goes the second base to turn and holds on there. As the Dodgers turn, pull the political officer to four to three. Gilliam's flopping a single right field his first to the game. Nukem in the second base. Zimmer starts to score the third with them run. And again, Zimmer gets good in the ball center for Philadelphia down in the field. Up now will be Geno Somali and stand with Patta goes to the mound to have a talk with Robin Roberts. Jake Triller talking to Gilliam with the first base bag. And Gilliam Herman standing alongside the third base, switching back, saying something up to Don Nukem. And now we'll see how the others are going to play it.
Brucey and Jones on the corners move in and I expecting a bus from Somali. Nukem at second, Gilliam at first head, job to pitch to Geno, but it's foul. It's played right in the batter's box. I'll fire Dusty Bob and pitch it up and fire the back out. So it's strike one to Gilliam. To Somali, Gilliam at first and Nukem is at second. Somali lined out the center and lined out the second. Please note for sure in the night game. And the fill is looking for the bus. First and third, checking in close to pitch pull on and fouled up to the wire. And it's strike two as Geno had a cut that time and drilled her back foul. So now Jones of third and Brucey at first will back up. Fernando's in Kazanski play a double playup that's scored in second. And the outfield is around to the left a bit on deep against Somali. Gilliam's got a very fine spring and a very determined effort as one in the left field job.
At least for the present. Here's the O2 left, Robert's delivery. Behind inside the ball and the count one and two to Somali. On deck it's tighter in the hole for a little. Four to three. Gilliam's lead and the dodgers have the time one on its second. The lead run is the first. Robert's with the stretch of the look. Here's the pitch to Somali. Breaking ball down on that start. It's ball two. Even up now it's turn two. Good ball, two strikes. And while we're right in that end, as a close stance, the front foot pointed a little bit towards first. Two to offering. One on the drill, right back to the middle for a base hit. Look at the turn third. It's home.
Now here's the throw coming in. It'll be not in time. And on the play, Somali goes to second. Gilliam's third, the ball game is tied. As Somali rubbed the ground ball right back to the bottom. Look at the round third and the score from second base on the play. Gilliam went to third and on the third of the place. Somali down to second. So we've got a brand new one going here and this matter is that. Let's do it and nobody else for the dodges in the scriptening. So for Somali up base hit and run back at him. And a four ball game with matter coming on. And Jim heard a busy boy down in the ballpen. For the solid up base hit and run, it strikes and in your all reactions. From the first element solid up here and this side is going to get a special one.
The answer is reason how about that. It's through the fans really let up a real foul as the manager took the free pass. And that will be the third one given up by Robin Roberts. Base is loaded now. Not a purposely pass. The load him up and he brings on for all of the double to the scoreboard and right center and drawing a run in the fourth inning. Roberts and Jim dodges that two in and three on and none out.
All for all. Had a real fine spring and had one for two tonight. Wait. And three the long side ball the right side of the field. You have to go for the right turn. Runners are tagged. Here's the grab and in the score comes Jim going the third and down the second. Out of second base is better. So the third not inside for Somali. All the runners were moving and the latter is caught in the shafts going in the second base. Back when stroking the fifth and see for the tag out there. So for all of sacrifice wise gets to the run but it also gets better going to second. Digig Lee five to four. Somali in the third on the play and across the place the score was Jim Gilliam. No play was made on Gilliam the play was made on sweater. So Gill for all of sacrifice five. And how about that? I don't know. I'll be asked for double play on that case. And a double place for the field.
Eight to four. One of the few runners who run a batter can get a run better than for double play ball. Sacrified fly by Horserillo and Smetter out during the second. Sederfield is richly explained to the second base from Ted Gisanti. Somali on third. And the fifth to Hodges. Strike one. Robert deals again. Gilliam checks up for the ball one. Heave it up now one one. He runs in and the dodges lead five four. This is Troy Millens from Earn your leisure. On Earn your leisure we're all about smart money moves. And the dodges go down in the fifth inning. They still free run. On three basis.
No errors and had one man left. So at the end of the top of the fifth inning was scored. The dodges five. The fillers have four. We'll find you the words that cure a real smoking joint. Yes sir. Well everybody, we're very happy tonight to be able to salute our honor hospital. The VA hospital is somewhere up in New York with a quarter of 10,000 free lucky. Being here much for them. And some of the near marks. We had a home run. We had a double play. So the ball had even started to fill us in. The thing that all more comes. More play by play too. And here's here. ECO Fernandez first batter up. We followed by Ed Bruce A. And then we're both new come deliveries and Tico takes it up five ball one. Fernandez is struck out inside the right and two tricks tonight. Miles and four, Dodgers lead each side the six places. The fill is get three and two second and three more in the four. Dodgers got one and the second two in the four. And three in the fifth. There's a pass ball for a strike on the outside corner.
The cancer Fernandez one and one. Tico heading in the number two spot. And as just in the close to become the regular shortstop for Philadelphia. Getting the opening night bit here. One one wind up and catch. File ball straight back from the count goes to one and two. Now the fine crowd on hand and I did county max stadium in Philadelphia. And this could be an opening night opening that attendance record for Philadelphia. The previous record was twenty nine thousand and seventy four. That in nineteen fifty and a ball game of the Dodgers. And we don't see too many empty seats here tonight. Here's a file ball upstairs off to the right and the count on Fernandez says that the ball on two strikes. So just remind you to be out Thursday.
When the Dodgers open up against the pirates that have a feel Thursday afternoon. Big dawn winds and fires. A roll of hit on first base line. Look up with it. So it's not in time Fernandez might get out for a base bit. One and top that's along the third base line. And before Nucham could make the play Fernandez had a beat out. The T-code is very fast. Make one out. Get number seven for Philadelphia and it brings on it. Who sees the first face and you struck out twice. Let's check it out. Nucham has three strikeouts and Roberts has two. Nucham has walked one. Roberts has walked three. One of those was an intentional fast. It's not it. So the fillies now come right back in the fifth inning and put the time run on it. Nucham is on the third base line for a base hit.
Nucham now out of a stretch delivery. Fastball comes in tight. Ball won the blue team. Ripped the post cheers on. That was Willie Jones down in the hole. Nucham is on the third. Nucham ready. Highs T-code first. Good to fall on it. Get it along the right side line for a base hit. Fair ball into the ball, then. Fernandez coming around second. That's the third, around third. And in the scores. Who's seen how it's the third. The relay from Gilliam is not in time. The ball gets tied up. Fancy. Head to the C building a line drive down the right field line. Fair ball about two feet. Let it feel off into the dodged roll.
Fend if you fall for a little bit. Make a place. Who see has come around the third and Fernandez is scored a tie-up. Now the goal ahead run is the third. And hard just come over to the mound to talk to. Nucham hit number eight to pull it off. And down best of now gets 50 again on the dodged roll. And down in right field. Whip the post you will be up. Only Jones to follow and stand about after that. So Robert and Nucham having a little tough time and driving it tonight. They've done one edge and five. Then field in a pop-up back over the top strike one. The entire end field with the captain of the room playing it upside. And Don weighs back about three steps. Back one count on refolking. And this is how it is developing a real old-fashioned scoring bee here tonight.
Nucham wide and five. Pull it in this picture. Whip the post you to clean up better on left fielders. Right two counts. Dodger and field up tight to roll the runner third. It will see you simple to drive in Fernandez and tie up. They've done one edge and five to the post you. Fast ball is up side by one. One and two. One ball to strike. Very enthusiastic countered and added. County Max Stadium. They're really open it up. Now the one two pitch.
Just as that side and it can't even just turn to. Don doesn't find a way in without your bulls in the right field. The two two pitch through a post you. Stopped foul lots of left to the plate and count to three for a turn to. Dodger's five, so they're five at County Max Stadium and so that up here. Lovers against Nucham. And the hitter is still far ahead down the middle of the ball game up to this point. Here's the wind up in the two two pitch. Pull on a stop-pile again at the plate. Camping up and picks it up.
Look on the side the first three men in the pitch. You're going to need to strike for a base hit on the run in a second. Lovers decide the first seven men before a different one to tie it up. And from that point on the hitter is taken over. Nucham had a one two three and he in the third. Here's the two two pitch. Change up, bounce the third, get it up with the holes in the runner. Go for the first end time and it's one away. The Pulski bounces out third to first. And up now they will be shown. It's doubled in the second round and out in the fourth and well. What is the fifth real take? Have you seconds for a second or another? This is the Brooklyn Dodger radio network. The W.O.K.O Albinay at the Capital District's most talked about. They tune with downtown studios in the hotel Wellington 933 W.O.K.O. time. Team time jammed rate more than eight until 1030.
Way down's up and in. One for two tonight. And the Dodger's play at up close again with one out. Nucham goes to the winner for the liver. Last ball, off guard, all wins. I'll be updated to the left now against the right end batter. Infield up close, yelling back a couple steps and room return is back about three steps rather assured and Jackson is sure to back about two. So they give a little against the nose. Nucham delivers low and it's all good. Five five four bottom of the fifth inning. And the field's with Dodger is having it an opening night. This is Troy Millens from Earnier Leisure. A lot of people are having when they first try QB Mayo. It's the one with the red cap and the little baby on the bottle. You've probably seen it in the grocery store before. And if you've ever just walked past it, some people would say that's a huge mistake because this mayo is different.
Most mayonnaise uses whole eggs. QB only uses egg yolks, which gives it this rich umami flavor. It's smoother, deeper and almost buttery. Once people try it, they start putting it on everything. Egg sandwiches, fries, burgers, some fans even swear by dipping pizza crust in it. And once you notice it, you start seeing it everywhere. Chefs use it, restaurants use it, people who really care about flavor use it. Never try it, grab the bottle with the red cap next time you're out of the store. Put it on just about anything, then you'll understand. QB, the original Japanese mayonnaise. Hey, it's Kelly Rowland. You may not know this, but I have eczema. So I get how it can steal your time. But why let eczema take over when you can talk to your doctor about eczema? Eczema, labor kizema, LBKZ. A 250mg per 2ml injection is a prescription medicine used to treat adults and children 12 years of age and older, who weigh at least 88 lbs or 40kg with moderate to severe eczema. Also called a topic dermatitis that is not well controlled with prescription therapies used on the skin, or topicals, or who cannot use topical therapies.
Eczema can be used with or without topical corticosteroids. Don't use if you are allergic to eczema. A allergic reaction can occur that can be severe. I problems can occur. Tell your doctor if you have newer worsening eye problems. You should not receive a live vaccine when treated with ebglus. Before starting ebglus, tell your doctor if you have a parasitic infection. Pay partnership with Lili. Respect your time. Ask your doctor about ebglus and visit ebglus.com or call 1-800-LiliRX or 1-800-545-5979. Look at the wind up and down it comes. curveball, top draw foul. That is the plate, camp, and other gravity. And the two balls one strike. Two and one. As far as the eye can see, the pain is in its ballpark.
All the way around. Looks like a real capacity crowd. Here is the two and three. Now ball, it's back to the eye. It's back to the heart of the face. The run is in the field, please. Don't make the picture and hold up now with a spindle center. And ball, just beyond the opposite slope of down camera. We see in the score and it's now 65-0, Jones the first face to the final. And then La Paracumpton. That is hit number nine of downers and free the sending. A little roller by Fernandez, started a triple-pop scene and a down single by Jones up the middle. Then La Paracumpton is nothing to wonder. Now it's one. So the run was on the field of choice. So La Paracumpton had that one out here in the fifth inning. Looking for the stretch in the fifth. Triple high foul on the short left.
Zoom it back up. The ball comes on. Zoom it, raise your morphine, and has it for the out. So La Paracumpton's Zimmer in short, but he'll show away. Here's Bob Bowman. The lucky right builder is that tip of tune and I came to score one run. The roll was too out. Jones on first. The fouls raised 65. Now the stretch by Big Newton and the pitch to the play. The curve ball is in first try. The victim has been scoring up a bit in the last couple of hitters, leaving the fastball and going into the breaking stuff. Right corner on Bowman right hand batter. That's again the down on the pitch.
That's ball raise, watch the right field. Frillown is sacchewing in two steps. Now pounds the gov and he has it and the side is retired. So for the fouls and the fist inning, there were two runs picked up. On three they picked, no errors and the left one man on. Short the end of five to score, the fillet is six, but does your five. So with that five and he's a player this one night, and here you're total. Four book and five runs six is one error for the fillet is six runs nine, it's no errors. Randy Jackson to the place to start to pick. Alright, Jerry, ready to go Randy is over to tonight. And Robin Roberts on the firing line, what is going to have a conference now with catcher Stan Lopata. This suggestion is outside high ball one. Randy over to his cap and a long deck and then done, zoom with a follow. And it's six to five. Randy over to his cap and a long deck and then done zoom with a follow.
And it's six to five ball game through the first five. Serve ball, this is roll and it's ball two. Two and nothing. Two all counts. Robin Roberts, set the pitch to Jackson. And the best ball finds inside, totally outside corner is two and one. Two balls, one strike. Robin Roberts ready, Jackson waiting. Two and a fifth. Swirling a bounce to short stop. And the last one is long throw is inside. One of the most. The Jackson bounces out just the first. And it brings on a row of camp and a lot.
But I'll be trying to strike out in two tries. Now it hits for full of out the air and fixed it for the dash. And one and a ball game, zoom with a roll. From camp and a long, with both of you in the second inning. The both of you later scored and what was the none and run. Now Robert's ready to go to campy. Wild ball coming back upstairs and this one is just under the press box. Strike one on camp and a lot. Very fine, very spot here, Philadelphia. And the first ball is just under the roof looking right down on home plate. With an angle off on the first baseline looking down the line. Campy takes a high curve outside and it's ball one. One ball one. One strike to camp and a lot. Zimmer on deck and then nuke him to follow.
The game is in the six inning. The pitch is fouled off and here comes one of our way. And the second ball goes bouncing back down to go. It is one and two on camp another. One and two the counts. This one right here and the band. Just missed. Wild ball, captain on a, chopping one up there. And the second right to get an opening day baseball, Fulviners and Tony Max Stadium. So this is the campy. You can't be even way over there about ten feet. Here's the pitch. Right three. A campy one over. Try to check this wing. The ball chips off the bat with a head on by La Patta and it's strike out for Robert. Camping on a balance. Strike on a pile chip actually.
Strike out number three. And by Dusty Bargis gave the foul chips time very quickly. Here's Dan Zimmer up now, home run in the walk-in, zipped the score twice a minute. Wild ball, hit off to the right and into the Dodger's dark out on the first face side. Strike one. The silly trick and the Dodger's five. Robin Roberts. Time him in. The job is 37,600 and 62. We got a much bigger strike still. So we were close to a record but not quite. Let him in. Over a record way over. 37,000 and the record was 29. I'll see you later. There is a real fine job. Well, Robert Saphari is a dry foul now on up the line.
37,600 and 67. The previous record was 29,700. So that's a new record by 8,000. Time's up for the opener tonight. Here's the pitch. Two points. This is a strike throw down the goal. And I'm going to have a try every time. I've got number four for Robin Roberts. So for the Dodgers and the trick-setting, three up, three down. No runs, no hits, no errors, and none left on. So that's the end of the top of the trick-setting and the scoring ball game. The fill it off the fully six. And the Brooklyn Dodgers out of five. Well, stepping up the speak is no other than that baseball, great hand-renum, and a lot of the other. You know what two questions folks ask me most. First is, who's the fastest pitcher I've ever caught? That's easy.
Don Nookum. That man is really quick. The second question is, do you really smoke luckies? Of course I do. And do you know why I smoke them? Because luckies taste better. That's all there is to it. Well said, Mr. Campanola, make fun. Because the luckies is a genuine figure-out. All figure-out. All fine tobacco. Naturally good tasting tobacco that's close to the taste even better. Taste the signal from all the campanola and declare a light-up time. Be happy, go lucky, right now. That was a good last of the six-thinning. It'll be Ted Cervansky, Robin Roberts and Richie Iceburn. They're up there to face Don Nookum. And a six-to-five ball game. Going to the left. Okay, Cervansky up one for two.
And big time, it is a five. The light-up and the first six. Over for a tall strike one. Good pass, Ben, on the outside corner. Look him ready again. Got science from the teammate, Roger Campanola. And a pitch to Cervansky. Up high, how's that, the ball on the count goes one-one. Jackson came charging at the third that time. Halfway expecting Cervansky to set up on. One-on-one. It's Don, rocks and fires. Full curve with upstairs at a fall two. Turned one. Jackson Zimmer. William and Hodges on the infield. Somali, Snyder and Perlone.
The Dodger outfield from left to right. The offense, I just somewhat over the capacity of the ballpark. There's a ground ball back headed by Jackson at the third. But the first is in time, nice play, the Randy Jackson. Hard slice is down there by six events. And Randy just wheeled over and back in and made the play. The other time, record, and the fill it up your ballpark. It was 4740 against Brooklyn in 1947 for double header. Night game, like it's 40,000 against the scenario in 1946. These wrappers coming on and get the nice hand, this is steps in, Robin Huff and stuff in the core, and if you have any more of the double to drive in, two runs. So Robin Roberts up now is leaving the left side. Nucleom goes into the wind of fan down its cumps. Adoncer foul, tickles off towards the doctor, will dug out in the strike one. So we are finally opening my Scott here at the LLFIA.
There is a long fly ball, a high fly ball, a setter, other, assuming going out, in for a cumps, similarly a left setter and he's got it for the out. So Robert got on a high pop fly in the short left center, ticked off by Jean O'Semola. Here's Ice Cream coming up now, Richie is all for three in the right scheme. Line the left, not in the second line, the right. Ice Cream nothing for three. Nine hits for the fouls, six hits for the dodges. And he fixed the foul ball again, on the bottom of the fixed turning. Here's the fixed, fastball high inside ball one. Nucleom checks the turn and some camp another.
Ice Cream wait. The curve ball is in and over for the strike. Scout even to one one on ice cream, there are two outs, no no on fixed turning. Lucky strikes coming, you play by play from Coney Max Stadium in Philadelphia. The 1957 open between the dodges and the fillies. One one fixed on the way. Ice Cream bounces one wide of three, Jackson one handed. Way to first in time for the outside return. So that's all for the fills and in the fixed turning both sides, grip and down the notice. No run, so let's know where is him left on and so if the end of fixed turning deflare the score, the fillies fixed for the dodges five. Well, let's get up to date here on what happened around and all the other open is around the baseball world today. So from the lucky strike store board, here's how. But otherwise in the national league at Fitzgird, the prize defeated the John's 9-2 behind Bob Quinn.
Fitzgird nine runs, eight hits one error. John's two runs in its three errors, and Denelli started, he's a loser, Grissom in the eighths and Jones in the eighths. Thomas at home run, he's first in the year in the second with nobody on for the Fitzgird part. No lucky defeat at your double quarter one, no lucky four runs, eight hits no errors, Warren spanned all the way for the victory. Chicago one run for its one error. Rush started, drive from seven, then Denelli in the ninth. Logan had a home run in the sixth with one aboard for the Milwaukee play. St. Louis defeated St. Louis 13 to four on 17 hits, and no errors. We mile all the way for the St. Louis win. Cincinnati four runs, eight hits one error, except Stein, Paul in the sixth, Gros in the sixth, screaming in the eighths. Bobby Smith in the sixth with one on, while in the eighth with two on, hit home runs for St. Louis. The Yankees defeated Washington two to one, the Yankees two run seven hits one error, poured all the way. Washington one runs six hits one error, stops all the way to take the loss, the battle of bulletin.
Sievers hit home run for Washington in the seventh, with the bases empty and bear a hit one in the seventh with none on, for the New York Yanke. Washington defeated Baltimore four to two, Boston four runs nine, it's no errors, Baltimore two runs nine hits one error. And in 11-0, Chicago defeated Cleveland three to, Kansas City defeated Detroit two one. Alright, Jones, down here can wait and swing the foul back into the sand, strike one. Robin Roberts on the firing, random result just now come up on the seventh inning, need a run to tie and two to go ahead. Six to five ball game here, put it off here tonight. Newcomer has one hit two tries, single in the fifth inning and then scored a run. Takes outside, ball one, the count even to one one. Robin Roberts, who leads all like his national league write-in is in career, the Chris of 179, and I did the first player in modern baseball, the pitch in eight, season openers. Last ball, that's Newcomer right man, it's ball two, strike one.
In the seventh and three, this Robert says one four and one three, he's beaten Brooklyn three times in opening day efforts. The Dodgers have not beaten him. There's a top up on the first baseline, Edward C comes down in the bag, and I stepped across the line and makes the draft for the up. So Newcomer fouled out to the first place when Edward C, and up will be Jim Gilliam who has one hit three tries. Robert Street's the Dodgers 9 to 1 in 19 60 and in 19 51 five to two, last year he beat the Mesa six. He beat Newcomer twice in 19 50 and last year. Gilliam waiting, here's the pitch. The curve ball in close to the ball one. In 19 55 Robert Street the Giants scored a two and had a no-hitter for eight and one third innings.
There's the pitch. Last ball, lower and side and the ball two. Well I just maybe Bob Follower was the last pitch of the pitch in Austin big no-hitter, Ellen, that's all right. We're going to have no miss here either, here's the pitch. Now it's your foul at the first baseline and Jake Tutler makes this first play of the new season. Lobs it back in the Roberts. The Camps of Gilliam two balls, one strike, one out, no-no on top of the seven. Those leads six five. Robert's into the white-up and down it comes. There's a ground ball this foul down the first baseline. There's all the way to the wall and bounces along and a couple of fans went out and grabbed a baseball two in there with a nice opening. Junction.
Robert's ready to the pitch to Gilliam. So, Ellen, this one is real foul down the white-peel line and bounces up against the box-y-witting. And the count stays at two and two. Johnny Mac City has doubled that all the way around. And there are no fans in white-peel. In other words, the field's roundabout fans on three sides to the foul back upstairs up to the first step and still two and two. Fans, the fans go all the way down the left-field line to the plate and all the way down the third base line. The first one is the foul. The first one is the foul back up. The first one is the foul back up. The first one is the foul back up. The left-field line to the plate and all the way down the third base line and then all the way across the field at the centerfield. There's nothing in the right field, just just a small board at the high wall at all the way across.
As they drive it right back to the middle for a base set, Gilliam is on. As the field's for three fires in the second base and Jim Gilliam gets a long single and then the left-side of the field. That's for Gilliam hit number two in four of the dodgers, number seven. And here's Gina Somalia. Line to center, line to second, single to center and draw the run. So Gina has one for three in the night's game. The dodger left fielder, one out one on. Robert's now with a stretch to let. Here's the picture, you know, a strike call on the outside corner. When Anderson's advanced key player didn't stop for two now and double play that, Jones fairly close in a third and Bersi of course holding Gilliam at first base. Top of the seventh, one out one on. Robert deals a swing in a bit of strike two on Gina Somalia.
You've set her on deck and then call for a little foul. No two-fitch. Swirling a roll back to the bottom, Robert's downhand. If those first place didn't tie them at all the play, Gilliam goes into second. Robert slipped and came up from around just in time to barehand the ball and make his play the first place. That no chance for a play on Gilliam. So the time one looks to second base and Duke's matter comes on. Tiled out, doubled the right hand was intentionally won. The fire up now, where the photo on deck and the second base is Gilliam with two away. Six fireball game and favor of the third off the stools over the dodger. That's coming next statement for the dodger.
Robert's now with a stretch. Now the liver is pressed ball up high outside, ball one. One ball on the strike. On Duke's matter. Here's the pitch to do. Ball ball right up here underneath this and out of play. One in one. Schneider had another one of his miserable swings hitting 177, but as Duke says, he never hits on the swing. He just waits till the ball rings and then off he goes. He's swinging at a bad speed. The Duke actually can off to a good start here for the season on their way. Move one back towards the third base out of the mound. Robert's just told him to stand for the out. Nice play by Robert Roberts, the team of the third base line.
Looked as he grabbed the ball, pulled from one knee and got his man for the after-exile. So that's all for the dodgers and the seven-dunning no-run. One hit, gore-ers and one man left on. That's the end of the top of the seven-dust score. So filly-six, the dodgers, five. Well, seven-dunning stretch. Here's how the double-throw all about it. Yes sir, that seven-dunning stretch is coming right up in H.R.A. By the way, stop me that stretch, I'll let you squinty-four. Okay, here you go. Ah, thank you. And now for a match to see you. Right over here, it will be cheek-off and enders. The scratch finger on the third baseline started the studies off to a two-on-ending in the trip, meaning they put them out in front. The bill scored first in a second, but as you started the third and went ahead in the fourth, they all came back to three and the fourth to make it four, two, the doctors got three and the fifth to make it five and four. The bill got two and the fifth to make it six and five and here we are. For now, there's got one for three tonight. Eppglus, see you on deck and lift the post to the follow. Newtoman Roberts have gone all the way. In fact, we have not had a line up change on either side. Roberts, what are the lines right? One half to seven. But for this play is in time. Nice play by Don Zimmer, a line drop, one half and one of them done. All those ends up him. He knocked it down, retrieved in time to get the three cheek-off and enders for the first round.
Roberts and his innings on the mound have walked three and struck out four. Newtoman has walked one, struck out three. Nine hits for the pills and seven for the dodges. One out, here's Eppglus, see you up. The line up in the pitch to the rookie first place, one apopable, one. Brucey struck out in the first again and the third, but in the fifth inning, he shuffled the right field. Jules and the third one, and then came across to the lead run on a single by Willie Jones. Left turn better at Brucey. Took him one and two fires. Change up his high and it's fall two. Two balls, no strikes. Outfield swing around to the right against the left hand batter. And the infield way around, got some way wide of third. Zimmer, line up almost behind the second, dealing with the edge of the grass on the right side.
Passball, high, it's fall three. Brucey, one of the rookies on the Philadelphia squad and it might be it'll take the teams around the league a while they get a book on him. Well, they might have a pretty good idea already. Some time to do. Passball, it was over first, I can just three and one. For some of the clubs that'll look at Brucey and Bowman last year at the tail under the air in a few ball games. Sometimes it takes longer than that to get things figured out. Three one pitch for big done, foul off on the ground, it is three two.
Newcomer against Roberts, they've met 12 times. Roberts won seven, walked three. And was not involved in two decisions. Newcomer was won three, lost nine. So all games he started against Roberts. There's a long drive to right set a field, not a huffling back for it. Back down turns, he's got it. Right in front of the store board and right set a field. Brucey, walked down one, but Snyder was able to get there and hold it down. So it took on nine, it's Riftable Pulse Key that I'll see there. It's playing good slide out and round it out. Riftable Key got in, about it. Newcomer wins and fires. Don't forget to have a fair baseline foul, strike one. Newcomer has retired, the last seven men in the roll, since Jones and Goose,
in the fifth and in the center cross to go headrun for seven off. They've done the liver, curve ball for strike, nothing in two on Riftable Key. Lucky strike, sending it all to you from Coney Max City and then fill it up here. Hope you got plenty of luck he's on hand and enjoy the ball game a little better. The O2 pitch, fastball strike three call on Riftable Key, out on strike. And for Newcomer, now eight men in the roll have been retired and had a strike out number four. So the fouls go up and down in the seventh and eight, no runs, no errors and I'm left on. So at the end, seven full of knees to play at the score. The silly six, the Dodgers have five. Now let's pause for six minute ramifications.

Ready to go for the first batter and take the curveball and a little ball one. Wow, fly to left in the second, double to the fourth and drove in a run, and at a sacrifice fly to center in the fifth one. There is one for two in the night scheme. The opposite of the wind up, but here is the fetch. All strike curveball at the letters and it's one and one. All state of mind, and Thursdays that Dodger's open up at Everfield, so I hope you'll be there. The fetch first average command, here, see the guest dealings that Dodger's open up at season. That's all, way outside and it's all true.
Then there'll be an off day on Friday, good Friday, Saturday, ladies day at Everfield against the Pirates. And from the big double header and next Monday, the opening with the fillings at Jersey City. A lot of baseball. It's a 50 for all of his effort strike and it's 2-2. Now, likely to be the catch the whole opener at Everfield on Thursday. Game time 130. There's a roller hit for third, in fact comes Jones. Up with it, so the first in time is up roller. Roller rolls out Jones to go shade. Well, he had to come very fast to make the play of that time and get rid of that step in a half.
One away and here's what he's got out, walked and struck out. Seven hits for Brooklyn and nine for Philadelphia. Three to five ball games, half of the evening. Last ball on the corner for Strike 1. Both Roberts and Newton were on the ropes early in the third, fourth and fifth. But now, settled out in the last two in season and it really been final away. With a high fall feeling off and back into the frame, well, Patrick comes back to give it a try, but it's into the first row of box seats. So on, I just accounted strike two. Well, the dodges to hit by Gilliam one but some Olesnider for a roll, Zimmer and Newton.
Well, Philadelphia two of these for Jones and Bowman, one for Fernandez, Bocee, Ruposki, Gzanski and Roberts. Strike two count, I just wait. All ball straight back to the line, it's still nothing in two. Standing room count of 37,667, any match, stadium and Philadelphia. One out of eight, thening. I just went in the long run of Philadelphia, just going down, just for the effort, that's added to a tie to fall game. It still has just so far ahead, it's tied up by Patrick Cicic.
So, we've got a bramble enjoying now, the A7 of Gilliam has just ripped off his first home run of the 1957 season. And since a thousand, luck is along with the V.A. Hot Siddler's son, Fiyot. And that's the third thousand luckiest we go tonight. Two home runs and a double play. Here's Jackson of that now, the six football game. Ready to take the first touch. Strike one. Jackson nothing for three in the night, game. One out of that all. This is Troy Millinson, Earnier Leisure. On Earnier Leisure we're all about smart money moves. And here's one most people skip. This is Bowen Yang from Los Cultures. It's Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang. You know when people try a new food and suddenly it's like wait. That's the reaction. A lot of people are having when they first try QB Mayo. It's the one with the red cap and the little baby on the bottle. You've probably seen it in the grocery store before. And if you've ever just walked past it, some people would say that's a huge mistake. Because this mayo is different. Most mayonnaise uses whole eggs. QB only uses egg yolks, which gives it this rich umami flavor. It's smoother, deeper, and almost buttery. Once people try it, they start putting it on everything.
Examages, fries, burgers, some fans even swear by dipping pizza crust in it. And once you notice it, you start seeing it everywhere. Chefs use it, restaurants use it. People who really care about flavor use it. Never try it, grab the bottle with the red cap next time you're out the store. Put it on just about anything. Then you'll understand. QB, the original Japanese mayonnaise. Hey, it's Kelly Rowland. You may not know this, but I have eczema. So I get how it can steal your time. But why let eczema take over when you can talk to your doctor about eczema? Eczema, the LBCZ. Paid partnership with Lili. Respect your time. Ask your doctor about ebglis and visit ebglis.com or call 1-800-LiliRX or 1-800-545-5979. Our Robert, into the wind up. Now ball on the ground off to the right of the plate. Strike two on landing actions. Houses in simmer have been overrun. And the one with jails is tighter. When the upper deck and left field. Here is the pitch. Low for ball. Allergic reactions are the most dangerous. The biggest thing is the unastallable soft-of-home run. 40-6-home runs. Last year, a major regret.
The home runs allowed or. Get off of it. Anyway, you want to flip. Flip all on the front of the board. Strike three on landing. Turning. Turning and walks off. Got a word to say don't fire. That's too bad. This is the championship. Too much. That's for Robert's strikeout number five. And it's oncoming now. We'll be Roy Campanilla. Roy has struck out twice and fired out to right field. First pitch, sure. That's right. Ball one. Let's press ball game here in the evening. To the iron nut on, Campanilla wedding with Jimmer on deck. And loop in the fall.
The Dodgers' strike, Robert's for 12-home runs. And 55-1-3-10-1-1-1-1-1. Here's a swinging and a miss. Right two. Camila Bion, who has bettered the ball fans, from going down to the Dodgers' strikeout now. And maybe he's going to go to work here in the last evening. Campy takes outside the ball and the count evens a two and two. To ball, two strikes. Campy swings and it's a line drive. Right two second base and set to Zensky for the opposite. Which I have to drive. So that I just pick up a tie run on the A-turning on a homer by Joe Hodges. One run, one hit. No errors and none left on. Start the end of the top of the A-turning with that a brand new one going.
The score is a dodges six and the 30s has three. Well, we've got a door here and what to say. Well, we've got it going here too. Really something. I want to have a closer going. I can see him right now though. Good back in an easy chair, dial-als at the base ball. And the back of luck is where you can reach him really. Man, you've got to make for a perfect evening filled with lots of real deep down smoking enjoyment. That's just smoking enjoyment. One thing you can always be sure of with a luck. It stands for reason too because a luck is all cigarettes. All finds my soul. Naturally mild good tasting tobacco that's close to the taste even better. Greener, brushers, scoop. So friends, why not light up a lucky right now? When the clock here says up south, eight minutes, that's 10 o'clock.
Well, that's light up time here and so it helps. The only light that luck here if you'll find it's the best tasting cigarette you ever smoke. Well, we've had seven and a half and an hour of the ball game. All tied up now. The dodges six runs, eight hits one around. And they sum it up. You silly six runs, nine hits, no air. It's a change of pitchers on the mound for the fendard juice. So they give us all the information. Let's get right back to the tip. Femla buying coming on. 10 and six last year and against the fillies the last time mark up seven and six. But then they can give way after going seven and the last six runs five runs. Nine hits, struck out four and walked one. First thought it for the fillies will be one of these zones with super three in the night's game. Femla buying. Number one five in the four days. Put them down. Three in the eight. Femla one and five.
Challenge the past call. It's in first strike one. Look them a lot nine hits but the fillies were only able to punch them in three. Three in the second. Three in the fifth. Three in the fourth. There's a curveball for strike two. Nothing in two on Willie Jones. Femla pat on. That's going to be the bottom of the follows. The ball game tied a six in six here in the eighth inning. Femla checks his time with Roy Campanola. Down it comes. Cairball, one outside for ball and the count one and two. Jones doubles the second of the drive and runs. Feggle the defense in the drive and the run. He's been a real strike for the fill tonight.
Femla checks his time. The one two offering. Flashball chopped down foul. A plate on five dusting bog is fixed it up and rubbed it up. Those are back out. One and two on Jones. Big number six on the back of Willie's point uniform. Here's the pitch. A bunch of hit right back to La Banda one on one off. Play the Hodges and it's one away. One up one down. Here's Femla pat on. He's done for two tonight. Born on the field of choice. Wolfton scored and popped out. Femla pat on the big backstab for the left. They play him around the left. Last half of the eight and a quick, quick ball game.
The barn ready delivers. Sure ball. I'll try ball one. One. One deals again. Overarm curve is in first strike and it's one and one. The barn is like to mix up the curve balls overarm and three quarter and once in a while that arm. But not too much that arm. And one of its most effective pitch is the course of the trinket ball. One one. A wide open pitch. Fast ball. Bounce the line to the left side. Zimmer comes in just a big hop. So the first and time that it is, it's going up and through down. Oh, is there really just rid of that ball on a hurry? Every time he finds that ball over there, he thinks that run is going to be there.
Usually out by about six or eight steps. The zoom waits no time. And on the other hand, you seem settled to have the ball and have a real fine arm. And they're kind of look at it. And then finally they'll be to run about about a step or step and a half every time. Will Serena the cut one guy who would do that? Shoulder reads the straight mark and then whether it's rips. First pitch is outside ball one. Billy Cox. Same way. One old pitch. Curve ball. Interest strike and it's one and one to Bob Bowman. Two that in the eighth inning. Newcombe had retired eight and roll from the fifth inning on and now LeBine has stacked on two more. So the fills with them 10 up and 10 down here against LeBine and Newcombe.
But one one pitch. Now ball to the left side. Silver skeets over his wide up for the long throwers in time. But again, they're so close to up and down in order. Nothing was caught from the eighth inning three up three down. No runs, no hits, no errors and numbers gone. So at the end of eight we've got a new ball game all tied up at 66. The dodgers and the fillings. Now what you say there? Well, let's give the folks your tolls reinvading in the side of ball game Jerry. For coming out the six to one, it's no errors and for different six to one, eight hits and one error. The fillings scored one in the second, three in the fourth and two in the fifth. Four to six. Well, the dodgers have scored one in the third, one in the fourth, three in the fifth and one in the eighth to tie it up. Otherwise, this score is today in the national league. Pittsburgh defeated the Giants 9-2 for in beating Attenelle. They're walking defeated Chicago four to one one spawn beating Bob Rice, Logan home run. St. Louis defeated Cincinnati.
We might be eating clipstriens, Smith and Moon hitting home runs for the side most. And in the American league, the Yankees defeated Washington two to one. Four to four beating stops with Severs and Sarah hitting home runs. Boston and Baltimore are a sector for Boston four to two over Baltimore with four beating whites. Chicago and Cleveland in 11-1. Here's some score one all the way. Chicago won that over Cleveland three to two. And Kansas City defeated Detroit two to one. Morgan and Larry going all the way. Morgan beating Larry. And certainly you're hitting home run in that ball game for the Kansas City ball grab in the sixth. But when it's well, that's about it as far as all the scores and so forth are concerned. We'll see if there's going to be any more score on this one. As we go to the top of the ninth inning, Don Zimmer coming up to the plate. Let's get back to the game. Little Zip has a home run or walk into strikeouts. These ones for two is scored twice. Robert St. Louis, Zimmer's playing the drive to La Fille to center base set. The post-key over the plate fires back in and Zimmer's on with September 9th for the Dodgers.
That's two for them tonight. In the bullpen now for put it up here Bob Miller. All right, Andrew. The vine coming on with one hand in the ninth inning. Zimmer leads it off with a single La Fille. So now Gilliam and Zimmer each have a fair base. The Dodgers have nine. And the tolls are almost identical except for one error on the Dodgers side of the Nigerian men for Philadelphia. And Bruce Lee pointing the bag against simmer ready to break down the first-based line. Here's the fridge butted part off on the first-based side, strike one. LeBine trying to make Bruce Lee play the ball because germs is right in on top of him. The hammer moves on back to first. On the barclay, everybody moves. The right feeler is over on the line, backing up first space.
Second is moving towards first, first list with down the line, etc. Here they go, the pitch butted on the first-based line and again foul. Bruce Lee opt to make the play on it. We have this before the ball has a chance to get back in. So it is strike two on LeBine. About the only player is not running when the butt goes on like that, the pitch in the catcher in the hitters. But everybody else in motion. Nothing in two will see what Clem is going to do now. The pitch is around, the brunt takes the call strike three. The bar is not on strike. And for Robin Roberts, strike out number six. Now we'll be Jim Gilliam, the single-wise, flat-out-wise. Driven in a run and scored a run.
Six-six ball game, nice inning. Gilliam waits, here's a picture of him. Pass ball is in first place. Gilliam waiting, nothing in one chance. Jim went off first. Jim backs up from a low-pass ball and it's one-on-one. One ball, one strike. Dodgers up on the top of the line, top of the batting order. Gilliam and then Somalian and Smeater. One out, one on. Roberts ready again, looks and delivers. That's where he drives. It's still the hole in the right here for a base hit. Jim or turn seconds, next person. There's a throw across, it'll be set up, phase in time. It's getting on two and Jim or his hot-up serve.
It looks like the net is going to set it up. And at the last two, we let it go through and it was in time. We got Jim or his running to third. Great throw by right through the ball, Thomas. All of it through. At the last instance, what a job, Hunter, to plan is to let it go and he did. Planetic is in the middle of the end field, it cuts that throw. And Jones told him what it can do and it came one hop through into the surface with Jones and he put the tag on Zimmer. Outside, they go first and throw it on a perfect take by Bob Bowen in the right field. There's great play. Here's Somalian up now with Gilliam on first and two outs in the ninth inning. Jim was digging, came in, hit first and it took a perfect take to beat him and that's exactly what Bowen offered up.
Here's the pitch. Swirl on and foul, chip back, strike one. Well, that was a fine throw by Bowen. Strike one count to Somalian. Two outs. Gilliam dancing around off first, picked to Somalian slow and a liner hit over short and left side of fifth for a base hit. Gilliam turns and holds up that second base as the throw for Maesprin, coming from Vindufer. The branches have had three singles this inning but now have one of gone as first in touch with Duke's batter coming up. For Somalian hit, back again with the game. Gilliam now has three and the branches have a total of 11. Neither of that has had one hit, three tries. He doubled in the fourth inning and the later team in the score.
Gilliam has on second. Somalian on first. Gilliam and I tried to go for third on a beautiful peg by Bowen that possibly kept the dodges out of the scoring column. At least to the opponent. Not a waiting. Robert delivers Duke takes the hard side. Bowen, top of the line. Two outs to one. Bowen is all knotted up that, six in switch. Robert again with a stretch and now Snyder steps out. The second base from Chavezky's point about two steps on the grass and right field. Now back to another step. Who she is right on the line and way back at first base. I'll feel shifted one round against Duke. There's a high top foul, so it's not going to be a lot of play up on top.
And on Snyder's account, one in one. Infield shifted way around against Duke. The outfield shift is not too great. In fact, Ashburn is almost straight away on Snyder. So I'd like to have Bowen as pulled over a bit toward the line. Here's the one one looking, the pitch to Duke. Swatland and foul kept out of the foul as well, straight to one and two on Snyder. Duke had a real big cut. Robert Roberts, but again, Snyder waiting. One is poised, the pitch. One and a half minutes. Snyder goes down like other to seven, four. Robert Roberts. Four and a nice, four, but no runs. Three hits, no errors, but was too little to score. The dodges had a real sense that it didn't, but Robert Roberts was equal to the occasion and got out of the game.
So that's all for the dodges on the top of the line. And at the end of eight and a half minutes, you'll play a score. The dodges six, the fillies have six. Right down to the clutch, Jerry, how about the last half of it at nine? Five, it'll be set to events, key, Robert Roberts or a hitter. And then Richie Ashburn. Fast to the ninth, the bind, almost firing, line, lines and delivers. The events, he takes the strike, nothing in a one. Well, the dodges had a lot of ups in that stop with the nice ending. After the simmer load off, had the bind been able to move him across, that had gotten around, and had a moment throw an up and throw two to the mark, getting similar to third. It's a little back to the mound. The bind comes off, makes his play in time for the first shot, one away. Had the throw the nut quite to good to get simmering, let it had a run. But as it is, put it off, he came through there and held him back. And now Robert Roberts comes on and gets the tremendous round of applause from the fans here.
Robert Roberts in waiting, left hand swinger, the bind delivers, set ball for strike one. Well, Phillies have now been retired in order by Britain Fitching. Newton got eight, the bind nine has four. Robert's run up to one and takes the strike, nothing in two. All in two count on Robert Roberts, last half of the ninth inning. The bind winds and fires, Roberts takes loads of all in the count one and two. Well, the dodges of course now pull him from overtime ball game. Open again to the shot at him in the champ.
Here's the pitch. Pulling a ground ball to start the start, Liverpool jumps up fires to high to him time for the outstool away. Robert's out on the ground ball and starts the first. That brings up Richie Aispern who has known for four in today's game. You'll recall the Phillies and the four thinnings scored three runs after the first two betters have been retired. From the final loss, Wolens and those devancies think a little Robert's double. Oh, hold on to your hat. Last half of the ninth, two outs, scored size, six things. And the bind, ready to work to the left hand, better Richie Aispern. The wind up in French. That ball comes down low and it's ball one. Well, the fans on hand and I here at ConyMax fit him and really have their money as well. A real fritter all the way. A little bit everything in this one.
The bind, ready, pitching to Aispern. Low wind, side for ball, the count goes to nothing. Aispern chokes up on that bat. That truth rinks us off the end. A real fritter. A three-old three last year. The bind with a two-old pitch. In the first strike and it's going one. He has a lifetime average of three-thirteen. You can idea what he can do with that bat. He's almost a magician. Two and one, the champ. Two outs, none on night-thending. Lebine into the wind up, deliverers. A little high off of ball and the count goes three on one now. She's got Fernandez on back. The capacity crowd in fact, standing room crowd,
denied it to the dog. And a really highly enthusiastic crowd. Really open it up. There's a liner hit one hop to Zimmer, great stop. Turn two, not inside. Aispern is on the ball, both the way from Rogers. And it'll be a base hit. Fines played by Zimmer, breaking equipment to his left. Came up with a ball on our great stop. Wheels and fruit, but was not in turn to get the flying ice. This is Troy Millens from Earnier Leisure. Earnier Leisure was all about smart money moves. And here's one most people skip. Your eczlas for the string will end up in return for a funneled out. It brings on sheet-toe penandes, whereas once before, you have an infield here in the fifth money. Ask when have that play beat. Even though the ball was a sharply short stop. Zoolim had a great play on the ball, but at the time done to turn and throw. The throw was not in time, and even though it was low, it bounced away from hydrogen. It's scored at the base this. The name is Wedding Now. The vine worked out of a stretch for the first time this evening. Here's the pitch.
Roller pile off to the right and it's strike one. Two outs one on nice and in the police batting. Two outs one on nice and in the police batting. Come on, taking plenty of time now, wants to be careful with sheet-toe. Check from the levers. They lift their hips back in the middle and the set-up fell for a base hit. Asks and goes into the back and it holds on and the W's have looked and gone now. It's still out to the money. For an empty section hit, as he just reached out and clapped one in the middle of the year. Asks for an in the second. And up will be at the scene, who has struck out twice, double and flat out.
If you're going to run in the fifth and quarter run, you're going to put the fillies ahead up the time. Roger's tied that one with a woman behind you in the evening. Left hand batter looking for a station in Bruce Lee's bat. LeBine looks, checks the runners in the levers. Careball or Jim's side, ball one. In all my hands to Bruce Lee. Left hand in her waiting. Asks for the second and he can fly. Fernandez is on first. What's lucky is ignore him. The big run is the second. Good to be asked for. The final the stretch to look. Now pick off side, throw back as not in time. Asks for sliding in ahead of the tag by down the boomer. Sixth ball game right down to the wire here in the last of the night.
The final the stretch to pitch. The low outside of ball two. Asks for nothing now. Red Bruce Lee. He's the tiller lucky first place on batting in the number three spot. Because Benzkin rovers the first two better's retirees or even the ice fring at an instil hit the short stops. And Fernandez looks to flingle the better. So the pills have two outs, two on and a two on can of Bruce Lee. As LeBan comes to the stretch. Careball is in five ball three. Straight up in now. LeBan trying to work on him. When one stand lost six last year and a seven and six last time against the police. Now the look, second and a fifth. In first strike with a pass ball. And a three and one.
And LeBan didn't fire that one right down the middle. He came in around the knees on the inside corner. And want to give him anything fast. Three ball one strike. Left hand better waiting. Asks for an off second. Here's the pitch. Pull on a drop foul off behind the plate. And the count is pulled and we can turn him loose now. Stay until and throughout last of the night. Here we go. Okay, a tight spot all the way around. Fistures on everybody. The runner's ready to move. LeBan ready to fire and Bruce Lee standing at the plate. And the ground waiting. Extracted play. Here's the three two pitch now on the way. Ball four and look at him a little more. Walk the line and walk into the one.
In the third goes last one. Second goes for LeBan. Up will be repulsed. He has one to four. And now comfort to the man. Jackson Hodges and LeBan gather around the talking over. Bottom of the net and that's two outs. LeBan is ready to fire. The line's getting in the trouble. Two singles in the walk to fill them up. And the flip-off key, the cleanup batter comes on. And now we'll see. Short side, six quick, line's half of the line. And the big run is the third. And the line's time to get the big out here in the bottom of the inning. The wind of a victory approach. Up high from all one. Time's all the tough one I want to go out and talk to him.
The line takes his time. Walk slowly out, rubbed up the ball. Doesn't feel worried. Talking to him. It's going down a bit. Get him a little time. There's him up, out on the arm and comes on back. All right, here we go. Ball one, count on a repulsed key. Base is loaded. Goal is on every strike. Bottom of the net, six six ball games. The line ready into the lineup. Down it's turn. High top of the end, feel the charge. Dimitrium's in, wait the step pounds the goal. He's got it and will have overtime tonight. As the fall key pops up to the charge.
Throwing the night inning. No run. Two hits. Throw a rhythm. Three left front for the 30s. In the night inning. So that's the end of the line and the score is all tied up at 6.6. Make the first six and Rillow walks at balls and center field with the expert and going over off to his right, calls it down for out number one. One away in the top half. Many number 10. By the way the Dodgers of strand of six face runners tonight and the Comet of Filly have strand of total seven.
Yill Hodges got this ball back, this ball game back on an even footing with his home run in the eighth inning. One of the two home runs here tonight. One hit for Don Zimmer and one hit by Yill Hodges. Both solo appears. Yill is moving in now. He's one time and he's one for three. Take the curve ball it's over for his strike. Start on fast ball. Get right back to the mound. Robin Roberts knocked it down and it knocked him down too. He makes his play and is filled out on his hands and knees on the diamond. That ball could have hit him in a fit of a stomach. It was one hopper back to the mound. Good Robert. He stayed with it. Knocked him down and he made his play. He's up walking around now. Robin is wishbone. Had any ratchet chips. He's gonna be alright. The hard smash right back to the mound.
Go two down and the top half of the centening. Bob Miller gets up and starts to throw her. Lay down and they throw it off your both end. Ball, lengthy right handers. Coming up to the plate now will be Randy Jackson with two down on the bases empty in a six-six ballgame. There was another extra inning ballgame today. That was over in the American League. They took 11 innings before they white socks were able to be clevened and score three to two. Let's just one on the Jacksonock Dr. Ma. Robert's stuck to the top on the grass. Fix it up. Our first match is... Oh Robert, you got a rough time of it. Nothing across for the Dodgers here and they top half of the centening. Robert just reserves the round before he's getting right now. For the end off, not in the half-an-nings of play remains. But Dodgers six that come out of your fillings have six.

He's sat it in a couple of runs for them. The bind ties up fast curve. I mean, it moves it over waistline. It's like one. Jones night has doubled this thing golden four times. Up in the driven into run. The bind goes to fastball and Jones left it. Part is running into very short. Right field coming on is sharp, rill, all. And makes the gap. Well Jones goes on. First better up in the last half. It's been a number nine. That will bring on standalone pattern. San is forced on the alley. He's walked. He's popped the short and he's rolled the short. So all they're talking about the catch is night is almost three. One out the basis and the last half of the 10th inning. Wouldn't you know that the judges will get one started like this? Six and six were in the last half. Well, any number 10 that's running next, 80 minutes, talk about it. Shape or beer happy to be sending the extra inning down.
Set on fastball to crouching or paris taken outside for ball one. This is a bind ball game to win or lose just as it is robin' rubbers. Ram was given up two base hits, delivers. These pitchers outside the low paris for ball two. So then got himself in a whale of trouble in the ninth inning. So in the two men on, he walked Bochet to low the bases. But he's four down then to get the big rip propulski to pump up the short. That by got out of the inning. Those rubber arms out there now are working the 10th. He's got one man down. There's nobody on behind him. He's got the count with low paris ball two. He delivers an overhand curve and low paris lean back and takes one flipped in first strike. Got a low paris out two in one. If you haven't seen low paris at best, you'll have a guy about to sit down and get his luck and share somewhere. That's where he gets done.
What's that, Jerry? The way you swing it off the air. Now the two on delivery on stand low paris. LaBon comes in with it. LaBon backs off and takes another fastball in there right over the fifth. For balls like two. Two balls and two strikes. We're back in the other scores of today's openers. As soon as we get an opportunity right off the paper scoreboard, many of you may not have heard all of the final scores. Overhand curve, a paris takes, low paris out of the fourth count now on stand. Three balls to six. One out in the bottom of the 10th inning. There are no based runners and scores here. It's locked up at 16-6 to 20-max stadium and took it out. Opening day activities. For the Dodgers and the Phillies. Everything else is over.
LaBon gets ready to bend at three-two pitch in there. At 20-0 and it's outside and half a ball for all the pad of shots off the first phase. That'll be the second based on balls given up by Sven. Coming up to the plate now. We're in the number 10 on the back of the shirt by a fallen right stiller. Here's driven in one run. Two base hits for a beautiful right fielder and four times up tonight. Jan LaPada and up two-three to four is on the first base. LaBon, back over his left shoulder with a branching check to that base run. Looks down to this right-hand hiter now and is ready to go to work. He delivers a fastball, is low and outside. One ball and no strikes. Six-six here otherwise in the national league. Pittsburgh defeated John Simeon too. No walking defeated Chicago for one and St. Louis took Cincinnati 13-4.
Look at the American league for you in a moment. Now they won an old delivery. In a cum, a sparse ball, a woman swings on it and fives to that. Blake half an hour lost for the moment. Now he has the ball ground up to the left of the fighting hall to them. Should've seen Duffy Buggers, but now the way of that. Duffy couldn't move that fast last year. He weighed about 45 and 40. He does this year. Boy, he's trimmed down to a mere nothing for Duffy. I took the impression that it went around and flimmed him up a little. Yeah, I know. You scared it out of him, Jerry. And you rock the boat, I hear. I've got to play now. Set Kizansky. For better still at first two down. Kizansky won hit him four times. Got to single-wheeled up field before fending. But behind the liver storm, and Kizansky backs off and takes the shooting surf ball over the outside corner for strike one. There's something that George Good on those fishing trips during.
J. For beer, you bet you're life. Now the O'One delivery on Kizansky. So, for better at first place, the pitch in there for a cold strike two. Find rear back. A blind set. Looks a little better. Kizansky starts to go and changes his mind and the little pass ball is outside. One ball and two strikes. Five five. All of any number ten. Over time, no to fair at Sommar Elf. People along remember this one. They got it the which way the cat happens to jump. Six five, six runs in the 11 hit.
The blindelars, Kizansky takes the curve is just outside. Campanella thought it was in there. Turns in, says something over shoulder to Dr. Bargit. Got a two two count on Kizansky. The number eight hiter in the 4th out of the quarter. Robin Roberts will be the next man up here to meet it. Now the two two pitch on this right hand hiter. Feed wide split of quarters to Zansky. The better takes the lead at first place. Down. I went this way out of this one. Strike out it. Now Bargit, that's his first like that. And in the tenfinning, for Philadelphia, no runs. There were no bass hits. They leave a man they stand there. Short at the end of ten. But out you're six, lift on it out of your fillies. All right, if you go here in the 11th inning, Roy Campanella standing in. Roberts comes into him with a curve ball.
It's blowing outside for ball one. Down in the Brooklyn bullpen. Got a left and right hander warming up. The left hander and the right hander is done. Side on curve, bone Campanella drills it to centerfield. Atchburns off to his left, still going back. Reaches up and holds it down. Campanella, a long fly of all. The centerfield for the first up. In the 11th inning. Coming up to the plate now. A little down Zimmer. Down is warmer. He's walked. He struck out. He's single. He's driven in one run. Two hits for three at that tonight. Roberts comes into him with a curve ball. And Zimmer after it's a foul. Right back to the screen. Just like one. Six runs, 11 hits. So the dodges, six runs, 11 hits for Philadelphia. One error committed.
The dodges have that chalked up on their record. Good Zimmer has won on a mix. For the second strike. The dodges have stranded six men tonight. The thought of the delays have left on a total of eight. Roberts out there, still going. Guns the ball in the genders, Zimmer. Side on pass ball. And it's low enough side. One ball to strike. Well, if you've got plenty of shape for on hand, the ballgame could go on for quite a spell. Side on pitch. Outside. Roberts trying to cross far on Zinn to get in the fight at it. Two ball to strike. One out top of the 11. The base of the ramping. Zimmer the batter. Roberts pitches to him. Outside and high above all three.
So having got not in front of Zimmer, he's wasted three now and it's the full count. Zimmer standing just off the plate. Midway in batter spots. Roberts checking up with low pad of the sign. Now comes the three to delivery. Side on pass ball. And Zimmer pumps it back, fouled over the screen. She arrives in the three to down in the ball pen for Philadelphia. Bob Miller gets duck and starts to throw. One out top of the 11. Three to pitch by Robyn Roberts. Side on curve. Again, his pump back fouled. This is what points off of the roof. Three to count on Dunzimmer. One out. No base runner. Top half of the 11. Three to pitch. Curve ball is in effect.
And he hits toward the mines. He's trying to check his swing. Roberts comes off among fields. Five to losing. And that's all for Zimmer. Those aren't tried to check his swing on high curve ball. All hits about anyway. And it's a close back toward the mines. So all the two out. Drop out of the 11th inning. And batter will be clean. Levine might hit for himself. This is Clemens ball game to win or lose. He's been on a couple of jams. But he's been able to stay right in there. Move out of them. So this kind of set to scene doesn't it for the Thursday opener with the Pittsburgh Pirates. That it feels come Thursday. Game at 130 will be on the air with you at 125. Hope you've got your tickets for that one. That should be a 4-2. Those parts taken in John's today, 9-2. Curve ball to Levine. He checks it. This is Troy Millens from Earnier Leisure. Plenty and takes it out for ball one. And Bob Friend went ripping right through today to be Johnny Antonylli, one of the best left handers in the business. Right on curves one on by the buying and miss four strike one. One ball one strike. Two down the base is empty top of the 11th inning. The ball game tied at six and six. The buy on the right hand here to wait. Rubbish tries to curve and one home, object. Strike two. A set of throws right on the back one. Now Roberts was ready again. The buy on wait. The one to delivery. Side on curve is head back to the mound. It's locked down by Roberts. The skampers have to stick to up close easily to first.
And the buy on is up. So Roberts has a couple of engines and a flip-sick busy fellow. Not only buy on the field. Nothing or cause for but then top of the 11th inning. Rubbish. Start on right hander is a switch hitter. And of course tonight he's been batting all the way as a left hander. Coming out to meet Glenn LeBine here in the last half of the 11th inning. Pretty good hit in pitchers. Roberts. In case you're tuned in with this light we'll set the book from defense for you. Just a moment. The buy on the left is Robert Daphrick. Curls one up the first baseline. Power. Strike one. When LeBine who came on in the eighth inning out there to win or lose it. For LeBine he's better made his right camp another. LeBine released. Big John Newton. At first base is Gil Hodges. The second baseman is Jim Gilliam.
Short step dimmer. Third base round ejection. She knows some oldie left field. Snighter in center. Curls a little in right. The buy on his ready. Deliver's all won. Just pitchers one on and I'm not in center field. Snighter comes up to it. Nice catch. Oh Robert's out. One away in the last half of the 11th inning. Richie expert in comes moving along. Now to start another batting go around for coming out here. All got to two six. Nice burn is sort of the best he's tight. Lead off guy and you'll punch him. You'll work for a walk. Straight fast. To move well. LeBine ready. Deliver's to him. The nice burn hits the right back to the mountain. One off LeBine. They should turn sparse the first net to all for Xburn. Oh two up. Two down. Last half of the 11th inning and the battle coming up is Chico Fernandez.
Chico the former Dodger. Five times. Not two bases and five tries. He struck out one time. That was for Donald Newton. LeBine fires to his former teammate and is pitch as high off the face. The ball won. Two down. Last half of the 11th inning. No base runner scores six and six. LeBine on the line. Such as motion delivers an overhand fastball and that's that one right through for straight. The outfield for Fernandez laying around a bit to left and not too deep. Somali playing the deepest in left field. Randy Jackson pulled about a step and a half off the line deep behind Fern. Jim deep the truck stopped. Plugging up the hole. Overhand curveball in the nice way for a false strike and a second one. That one slipped in there about waist high on the outside plate.
Last half of the 11th inning. The other extra inning ball game was 11 inning affair over in the American league today. Side on curve. Cull strike three. Got him at the weight. Fine work that truck fired in a very neatly. That's the second strike out to Clem. So the 11th inning is over. Jim Gilliams, Somali and Snotter. First three battered through up against Robin Roberts and here again for shape of air. Now, help her. This is the sixth batting around being started by Gilliams. Tonight's play. Jim has three singles and five times up his three for five. Standing in the top half of the 12th inning in the six sixth ball game. Getting our time at against Roberts. Gilliam was ready. Roberts comes in there with the first pitch and Gilliam after hit the high fly ball in a straight way right to the Ulyssenea chance for a ballman. Camps under the take. Oh, one away. Open the 12th inning. So it would be the longest ball game of the opening day game.
11th inning went over in the American league between Chicago and Cleveland. And for the dodges and some of these participating on a 12 inning ball game. One out nobody on top of the 12th, Gino Somali standing in. Roberts delivers to him and Somali takes the fact one over for strike. Somali's been up five times. This is the sixth. Watch out. Tonight he has two base hits, two singles. This way outside to get the weight from Wolf Hunter. That'll be ball one. Soon as we find out what happens with Gino, we'll have time for station identification. I'll get us in there at 11 o'clock. But that I'm clear. Somali has it. It's a long ball that sticks to half the left field. And it is into the left field stands for home run for Gino Somali to break the six-six-five.
Just tell you that boy can hit that long ball this year and he just did it. Driving the left center field stands for the dodges out in front. Seven to six. Now let's pause for station identification. This is the book from the dodger radio network. Dial 1460, W-O-K-O, Albany, New York. Virgil Pinkley usually heard of this time. Will be delayed until after the ballgame. L-W-E-S. First standing in. Takes the first between there first strike. Yeah, like in well imagine Gino Somali will long remember tonight. Put the fun on. Hit down the right side. Scobble up a second base. Throw the first in time and start to go down. Go down into twelve-fending. Gino Somali. By parking that ball into left center field, Lord Ex. Hit his first major lead home run.
But now on we'll have to call him Muckles Somali. He should not ball well this year, believe me. Here's Karl Borolo standing in now. Dodger's lead is seven to six. Don't well hit. Side arm curve. Borolo is low and outside. Ball one. Dodger's a bit three home runs tonight. Jimer and Somali, the two young fellows who wanted to play in his ball club at the hit home runs and the veteran Gil Hut. Ex-fitch is swung on by Borolo. He pops it up, right up over our head. That goes to the roof out of play. One ball and one strike. Borolo back in batter's box now. Side arm pitch by Roberts is way outside. You have to wait below pattern. Two balls in the strike. The count on Karl Borolo will go down the bases. I'm seeing Dodger's by virtue of Somali's home run leading it to seven to six.
Shaper bears then to here from Somadalty. Side arm curve is low. Side arm for Lof Green one. Miller up flowing again down and he's coming out of your ball pan. Yes sir, I hope right now you're enjoying America's oldest locker bear. Shaper. Side arm pitch is in there for a strike. A three to count on Karl Borolo. One over thirty seven thousand folks should have not have been enjoying this when it's been nipping suck all the way. It's seen plenty of action. So many of it. Twenty three base hit. Thirty three. Three two. Side arm curve. Low and outside for ball four. For real home. So just stick away and just off the first base on the fourth base on ball given up by Roberts. Coming up to the plate now is Gail Hodges. Gail is at one of the three home runs with dodges of manufacture tonight.
That's his only base blow and he has a run driven in with us. One for four. He walked one time. Roberts to the stretch. Check for the other one first. Deliver the place to the side arm pitch that's a little high. One ball in no strike. No ball game tomorrow for the book and dodges, but they'll be getting ready for the big one Thursday afternoon, with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Opening day of the day off the first strike.
