192. The 2008 Housing Crash - Will it Happen Again Today?
About this episode
The collapse of the housing market in 2008 left a bad taste in many people's mouths when it comes to recessions and the real estate market. It's now 2022, and the housing market is back up in the air, and there are a lot of "gurus" online saying it will crash again much like 2008.
How will home affordability change in the next few months or the next few years? Are the federal reserve's higher mortgage interest rates going to cause the "bubble" to pop? Additionally, will the changes in the economy really cause another recession?
In this episode, we discuss some of the data I recently posted over on Instagram. There were a lot of people in the comments having an emotional reaction to what I was saying despite all the data I presented. So let's talk about it!
