#1753: Détermination précise des abondances chimiques à proximité d'un trou noir supermassif

Une équipe internationale d'astrophysiciens vient de réaliser, pour la première fois, une mesure détaillée de la distribution des abondances de plusieurs éléments lourds dans l’environnement immédiat du trou noir supermassif de la galaxie du Compas. Cette analyse permet de contraindre la fraction relative des différents types de supernovas ayant enrichi chimiquement le milieu proche du trou noir. Les résultats de cette étude ont été publiés dans Nature Astronomy.
