17–What Is Linux — And Why Should You Switch? With Special Guest Adam Craig

About this episode

This week, my special guest is Adam Craig, LFCE (Linux Foundation Certified Systems Engineer). Adam manages a room of Linux servers for an unnamed major university and was my master/tutor/guru (and still is, to some degree) when I made the switch to Linux several years ago. We discuss the Linux Operating System — what it is, how to get it, why it is better than either Windows or Mac for privacy and security, and why you should consider switching to Linux from your current Operating System.

I do not personally know anyone more knowledgeable about Linux than Adam. It was a great joy to have him on the show to discuss an Operating System that respects privacy and liberty. I hope you enjoy this deep dive into Linux as much as we enjoyed doing it!
