Maria has been focused on life extension since 2008. She is currently Scientist in Residence at Formic Ventures. Maria earned her PhD in Biology of Aging from a joint program between the University of Southern California and the Buck Institute for Research on Aging. She helped organize the Genetics of Aging and Longevity Conference series and was Vice President of the Science for Life Extension Foundation. Maria’s goal is to make people live as long and as healthy as possible using the advances of science and technology.
