00And now it's time for Ask Ross and Mocha. Yes, this is episode 1626 of the Ross and Mocha Show podcast. Ask Ross and Mocha. Love these episodes, these exclusive episodes. As we head to the phones, ASAP, Melissa, I'm trucking outside. How are you? Your boyfriend's Ross and Mocha. So good. How are you guys? Amazing. You get to kick off. Ask Ross and Mocha today. What's your question? Is there something your partner does obsessively that drives you crazy? My answer is vacuuming because sometimes I don't even think there's anything to vacuum. Oh my god. What does she do obsessively? Oh, I have something. I don't know if it's obsessively, but it happens a lot. What is what? Sometimes she will use, generally use the dish sponge to wipe down like the countertop or sometimes she'll use it to wipe down the kitchen table. Yeah. And when she's done wiping that surface down, she'll take the sponge and just leave

04it in that sponge. Whereas if I use the dish sponge, it always goes back in the dish sponge holder. So whenever I'm doing the dishes or I need the sponge and I'm looking for it, I'm like, where did you put it? I don't know it's somewhere. Maybe I put it back, but it's never where it's supposed to be. It's always in the last place that she's used to wipe the surface. Yeah, my wife doesn't do anything. She's perfect. I was looking at my answer too. Oh, I know. You just got a face in the mouth. Should have started with Maureen. Damn. That's a lengthy answer too. I know. Very, very, very detailed. I was just going to say, live. Live. Oh my god. She's this man. Read the question again. Is there something your partner does obsessively that drives you crazy? Is there? Breathe. Exist. Exist? Damn. Melissa, there you go.

05You got your answer. You guys. It's so nice to know. Oh, please. Thank you, Melissa. Now, if Catherine was on the phone, she would have a million things to say about me. Like without question. Oh, I can get it. Oh, no, I can't. Because I've said this before and we've actually talked to Catherine about this before. And it's not something that she does obsessively. It's something that she doesn't do, which is Catherine loves like she will clean, right? She will clean the kitchen, like scrub the kitchen, everything else. The one thing Catherine will not do because she hates it is she will never clean the sink. Right. She will never clean the sink. So it could be like a pot full of like, no, no, no, like even like if there's stuff all in the bottom of the sink, like food, a piece of broccoli, noodles, noodle, like whatever the kitchen will be spotless and you'll walk in and look inside my sink and it's a horror show. Right. And so she hates it. She just hates cleaning the sink. So I'm like, that's fair. That's fair to me. I will, I will come in and do and do sink and do sink.

06Like I won't clean Tupperware. Why don't I refuse to, I'll clean and then I'll put stuff in the dishwasher. I'll clean plates. I'll wash that. I refuse to clean Tupperware. But why is it feels like it will know, Matthew, you're not allowed to put Tupperware in the dishwasher. Oh, oh, you mean plastic Tupperware. Oh, I got you. I got you. Oh, yeah. Okay. Chloe, come on now. You have to have a list of things that like, okay. Yeah. Go ahead. That your boyfriend likes does. Kale, he's really obsessed with his car. Yeah. He constantly looks at his car and he's like, there's a little dent that I didn't see there two minutes ago. Do you see this scratch? Do you see this? Like does he think you're doing it? No. I'm not doing anything. All right. Okay. Oh, can I just say one more thing? Yes, please. It applies to, I think, anybody, right? Like anybody. Which is this? If you are a partner and you walk into the kitchen and your partner is like cleaning or like unloading the dishwasher, okay.

07Right? And you see that they have the dishwasher 95% empty. Okay. Don't walk by and grab the last two mugs and put them away. Why not? Like a hero. Like you helped. Right? That's no, no, no, nobody, nobody who is in the process of cleaning the kitchen wants somebody to come in at the last second, right? And then just grab a rag and wipe down the wipe down one half of a counter. Right? Like it then it was a team effort. I mean, it does show love. I mean, any of it cuts down like the task time, but like two, three, four, five, but like two, three minutes, that's being helpful. No, I think that's helpful. No, don't do it. Don't do it. No, because then you can never say, hey, listen, I, you know, I cleaned it before. You can clean it later, right? Because then it becomes what we both did it before. Well, no, we didn't. Well, you did both do it. No, we didn't. No, we both didn't. At all. All right. Thank you, Melissa.

07Anyway, my wife does nothing. I know. She is perfect. Melissa, how long have you been listening to the Rosamoke show for? About seven years or so. Wow, that's amazing. Well, thank you very much for listening. Appreciate you. Love you. Between Rosamoke, who is your favorite? Buzz, who is perfect. Oh, she's white. Thank you. Oh, thank you. Oh, right. Thank you. Okay. Have a good day. You too, bye. You too, bye. Welcome. Thank you. I know I see a keyboard. You're just keep going. Keep going. You're just keep going. Yo, bro. Really? Look like f***ing golem, man. Really? Look like f***ing golem, man. Look at that arm. Holy golem. It's just adjusting his zoom screen right now. Yeah, I can't fit it in the hole. And he's trying to lift a laptop. And his arm is so strained. It doesn't fit in the hole. There you go. There you go. I'm sure the honor, man. By the way, this is Ask Rosamoke, the questions that we get from you on Instagram.

11Let's just go to the next question while I'm worried if it goes this out. Yes. Jack says here, if you become a superhero and you have to choose a superhero sidekick from the show, who would you pick? What were your outfits be and what would your duo be called? Oh, God. I mean, I think naturally, Shem and I would have to be a duo and we would just be the lotion bros. Ocean bros. Yeah. And you would just, and your outfits wouldn't really be much. It would just be like, I would say like the superhero undies. And then you guys would just be, you guys would just be, you know, like, be your bodies would just be glistening. Right? On the way he said that. We could just be like lotion bottles. No. Why would you want to be a bottle? No. I'd rather be glistening. No, no, because that's part of your whole thing. Is that like if you get into a tussle, like, nobody can grab onto you. You guys are like greasy, right? Right. Yeah. Right. And then you guys could do, you know, like a move where you could, Shem could be in front of Mocha and there's a bad guy in front of Shem, right?

12And then Mocha's behind Shem. And what happens is Mocha starts running and then Shem bends over and then Mocha jumps and uses Shem's lubed up back as almost like a, like a ramp, like a launching pad, right? And then you go shooting into the bad guy. Your greasy stomach to Shem's greasy back and you just like soar into the bad guy. And that's how you went fights. And then you're like, I'm bending over and then you launching yourself into Shem. I don't know about that. You could table that and come back to that. Yeah. Yeah. Who would you pick, Roz? It's just I kick. Oh, Shem. And what would your duo name be? Well, he would bend over and then I would run from behind him and I would just go with it. Because I would see the two of you doing it and I'd be like, wow, that looks like fun. You know, like a slip and slide. I got next. Yeah. Like a slip and slide. Yeah. I pick Chloe. Yeah. Ob-V. And what's the rest of the question here? What would our thing be? We would drink so much that like we would throw up on people and that's our superpower.

16That's your superpower. And what would your outfits be? Matching because they look like father and daughter, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like whatever, whatever Chloe would have, like Chloe, like would be wearing like some sort of like sundress with a pattern and more, he would have that as like a, like a shirt. Like a shirt. No, like a shirt and shorts. Like a set of match. Yeah. Like a, like a short-sleeved dress shirt. Yeah. Right? Yes. Yes. Edward says here, if you had a staring contest, what constitutes a win? Does the person that blinks or laughs first lose? Laughing doesn't matter. Blinking, I just did this with Trish Tratis on social and she said, I lost because I blinked right away. Yeah. I always thought staring contest, you lose when you blink. By blinking. Yes. You can laugh. You just can't blink. Yeah. I just feel like once you start laughing though, then you, like you get distracted anyway, and you're going to start blinking. Yeah. But it's always whoever blinks first. A hundred percent loses. And that's the rule for a staring contest, right?

16It's not whoever laughs first. I'm trying to change the rules, Edward. No. No. Kevin says here, what's a rule in your house that you absolutely refuse to bend? We don't have rules in our house. The rules for other people are rules for each other. I think either or either or what rules do you have in your home? David Mori. There are so many rules in my home. There's so infinite rules. Run, run down them. Oh, like that no bare feet in the bed, no peanut butter on the knives and you put it into the dishwasher. Yeah. Mori can't touch the washer and dryer. Oh, Mori can't touch the thermostat. Mori can't load the dishwasher. Yeah. Right. Matthew has all these rules for you. Are there any rules that you have from Matthew that he actually follows? No. No. No. I'm not even allowed in his bathroom. If you were to have a rule from Matthew or a set of rules. What should there be a rule for? Mind your business. No, but like a rule. Like a house rule.

17No. Like if somebody puts something in the dishwasher, it's fine where it goes. There's no set rule on how to load a dishwasher. Right. You know, guide on the proper way. Like I can load in cups and he'll be like screaming it to in the morning going, you did this wrong. I think most, I think most couples in it and I don't know how it works out that way or why it works out that way. But I think that most couples are built around one person who loads the dishwasher so precisely that you could think that it was from the manual that came with the dishwasher and how to load the dishwasher. Yeah. And then the other person looks like they throw everything in there. Yeah. If there's space, something goes there. Yeah. I don't, I, I, small plates don't need to only go with small plates. No, but I, I think that like, and I don't know how that, I don't know how that happens. Like I don't, I don't know any couple where two people are obsessive with how things go in or two people that are absolute disasters. I, it's always one person and then the other person.

19And that's just the way couples work. Yeah. I don't know why. This is a track. Yeah. Um, Chef, I know you and your girl don't live together, but are there rules in the relationship? Uh, yeah. I mean, the big, the big rule is always. Don't die in your sleep. Don't let me wake up to, to, to a dead guy. Just survive. Survive the May. Yeah. That's a good rule. Survive the May. Yeah. That's a good rule. That's right. I mean, number one. Yeah. No, I would, I would honestly say the rule is text me when you get home when you're out. Oh, that's the big one. Right. You're not living together, you know, just eases any anxiety that may come. Yeah. That's fair. Chloe, what about you and Lex? Uh, same thing. Also, like the location thing, like our locations have to be on for each other. Uh-huh. Um, yeah. Who checks the location more? You were here. Me 1000. I'm poor. Does he even check? Like, does he care? Yeah, he does. Cause some message mean be like, are you home or like, why'd you turn off your location? Oh, why do you turn off your location? I get mad and I don't know.

19Wow. Like you get mad at him. It is. When was the last time you turned off your location two months ago? What? Why did you get mad at him? I don't remember. I don't really don't remember. Probably over something stupid. And then you turned your location off and then how long does it stay off like a day until he learns a lesson. Yes. Yeah. And then what then he has to say to you like, I'm sorry. Can you turn the location back on? No, he just says, I'm sorry. You're whatever. And I turn it back on. And you just, you don't turn around and say, do you know what you're sorry for? No. No. Like usually when I'm like, can you need to apologize? He'll apologize and then I'll just turn it back on. But is it like a half ass apology or is it like some serious? No, he's not as good at apologizing. Yeah. Yeah. This is why I'm gay. Thank you. I'm almost gay. I'm just not. I'm just talking. We're almost there. If I had to go back, if I had to go back and date now, oh my god. Let's get back to the phone's real quick. This sharing location. Yo, faith. What? Go on. It's Rosemokha. Hi.

20Hi. How are you today? I'm good. What is your question for everybody? So I can have back to school kind of question. And if there was a Rosemokha pencil case, what would each of you all be and why? Like what would we be inside the pencil case? Yeah. Oh, interesting. I want to be the ruler. The ruler? A small ass ruler. We just held too. Okay. So, Mori is the tiny little ruler. What would I be? You would be the... Hold on. Actually, can I be the eraser on the end of Rosemokha's pencil? No. Did anybody else grow up in a school system or with a group of people? I swear to God, when I was growing up, teachers and students didn't call the eraser and eraser. Huh? They called it a rubber. What? No, no, no. That sounds... You never had that?

21No. No, no. I didn't hear you. You can't say that. Rubber only means... Yeah. A condom. Yeah. Like, I remember when I was in young, like when I was in the younger grades, it would they only ever called it a rubber. No. Like get your rubber. That's what I was thinking. Yeah. You can't say that in a school number. No, you can't. Yeah. Can I borrow your rubber? That's nuts. That was always... You never had that. No. No, you had that. Rubber. Never. Yes. Yeah. That's a big rubber. Right? And sometimes you had that rubber that was half pink and half blue. Yeah. Really? Color, Dr. Brut. School nurse. Okay. So, if we all had to be... I don't know. Like, I would say, could I be like a pack of pencil crayons or markers, like multicolored because just so like colorful and like bring people joy and smell of it sometimes? Yeah. Sure. Yeah. I think that what about...

22Would you guys not be like the iconic pencil and eraser? Like, that's the iconic pencil case duo. Yeah. Shem would be a glue stick. Oh, yes. For sure. For sure. Oh, good. My chopsticks. Yeah, man. Your chopsticks is a size of a glue stick. Oh, oh, oh. Without the risk of sounding racist, I would probably be white out. Yes. Good one. Really good. Okay, next. Chloe, next. We'll Chloe be. Chloe, oh. Chloe is definitely... What is the... Is it a compass? The thing that you put your pencil in and it has a stabby part on the other side of it? The protractor. A protractor? Is that what it is? Yeah. Chloe's that sharp point. Oh, yeah. Yeah. And, uh, dammit, Mori is... Already the eraser on the end of your pencil. No, no, no, no, because I'm not a pencil. I'm white out. So, dammit, Mori would be the... Back to being a ruler? No, dammit, Mori would be the pencil shavings that fall out of your pencil sharpener. No. That... That...

23That collected you clean out at the end of the year, right? There you go. Just a famous mash of Finn Wood. Yeah. You got your answer right there. Thank you so much for listening. Be safe today. And between Rosemoko, who is your favorite? Oh, I'm so excited you guys didn't ask me last time. And I've been listening since I was in elementary school and now I'm in university on exchange. So, it's... You guys have really gotten me through some tough times of living alone for the first time. So, I really have to go with my friend, hands down, pants down, Rosemoko. There we go. Oh, you're the best. Thank you so much. Where are you on exchange, Ian? I normally live in a Vancouver and I'm living Quebec alone for the first time. Oh, yeah, yeah. You're the horse thing. How old are you? How old are you? I just turned 20. You're just going, oh, wow. Oh, wow. Yeah. Well, you take care, girl. Thank you. All right. Wonderful day, guys. Yeah, bye-bye. As we continue here, let's see.

23Oh, Brandon says this, what's something you've done recently that instantly made you realize you're getting older? What is something that I've done recently? I mean, everything I do, I'm reminded that I'm getting older. You know, because I am, right? There's not much that I don't do. I can't do the things that I used to do, right? Like getting up. Yeah. Getting up from a seated position. If I'm seated too long, I got one of my knees kind of goes, right? Like, yeah, like I just can't do things like that. I know for me, if I bend over, if I drop anything on the floor and I bend over, like I cannot bend at the waist, even if I'm picking up something that weighs nothing like a dish towel, I am a full on for the rest of my life, bend at the knees, squat down, and then just fully come back up. I do not bend at the waist anymore. No, sometimes I hear a pop. Really? Yeah. Yeah, sometimes I hear a pop.

25I didn't over the summer because I do a lot of other physical stuff in the summer. Sure. So I don't do the gym in the summer. Oh, okay. Yeah, it's not for me. Anybody out? Damn, I'm going to walk. I fell asleep on the toilet two weeks ago. Oh, you did, yeah. Like with your head, in your hands or your head, gains the wall. Against the wall, because like I had to take the dog out like he woke me up super early. Yeah. And so then I'm like, well, I'm up, so I'm going to go to the bathroom. Yeah. Just toast off. And fell asleep. For how long? 20 minutes. 20 minutes. Oh my God. Yeah. Shem. I just think you're first like, oh, you know what? I had a conversation with Chloe recently in the studio about the big Northeast blackout of 2003. Oh, yeah. Remember? And then she looked at me like I would like I had like three, three eyes. And I'm like, don't you remember? And I realized that she was one. What about me? Right. Maybe you feel so old. I know what you were talking about. I was like, what? You were one. Yeah. Oh my God. Wait till she finds out about 9-11. I know. It's 25 year anniversary this year. Oh my gosh.

26Chloe, do you have an answer for this of something that you think you're getting older? I mean, I guess when I like do my taxes. I'm like, I'm so old. Yes, there it is. All right. Before we get back to the phones, Nancy says here, if the Rosamokas show had its own version of the Dundees from the office, what award would each person win? So on the Dundees episode, the categories were like, show me the money, longest engagement, which Pam won. On a, sorry, hottest in the office, tight ass. Don't go in there after me award, fine work, white as sneakers, best dad, best mom. Oh my God. Stanley won the diabetes award. Yeah. Yeah. That's terrible. Best Dundees host. Yes. Extreme repulsiveness, which Toby from HR won. Yes. Damn it, Maury would have to be up there or at least in the running for a best bathroom

27nest maker. Oh, yes. Last week, Maury left half of his nest in the bathroom again. Don't you check when you flush the toilet to make sure that all the toilet flushes I assume it all goes down and I wash my hands. No, I went in right after Maury and like half of his wet nest was. It was like there was one long strip of toilet paper where half of it was still in the bowl soaking wet and the other half was underneath the seat. Right? Underneath the seat and it was and it was touching the floor. Right. Right. And I was like, there's no, there's no way I'm going anywhere, anywhere near that. And then I said to Maury, I came right back in right after I finished and I was like, hey, Maury, you left your nest in the bathroom, right? And he goes, oh, yeah. But like you didn't go and like clean it. I assume that meant you did. No, I'm not touching your nest. That's gross. Right? I'm not touching your nest at all. Sean would probably win the Survivor Another Day Award. Yes. Yeah. He lives. Yeah. He's terrible.

28Yes. Yes. Yeah. He's risen. Right? Amen. Amen. Yeah. Roswyn. What would I win? The always has something to vent about. Award. Yeah, like something. Yeah. Like every day, multiple times a day. Yeah. Person who complains the most. Hey, stop that. Most consecutive days being unhappy. Yeah. Oh, good one. Wow. There you go. Yeah. I know that we have a sign in here. It's like, it's like days Ros has been happy and it's like zero and it's been that way for 17 years. Just on a day we think we roll over to one. Yeah. No, some happens every day. Low ease award be for the dundies. You haven't seen the office. So I don't know. Oh, you haven't watched any episodes. No. Wow. Oh, okay. Oh my god. Like not even by accident. You've never seen it. Not just by accident. Yeah, but like I've never sat down and watched it. Yeah, I've only seen clips. They played you guys played on your computer here.

30You've never watched the office? No. No. Wow. All right, the never watch the office award goes to. Yeah. Exactly. Let's get back to the phones real quick. I don't know. No, it's Ross and Mocha. Is this Andrew? Hey, good morning, because finally the yes, this is Andrew. How are you guys doing? Oh, dude, we're amazing. Thank you so much for joining us on the podcast today. Understand you got a question, not for the room, but for Ross anytime you're ready. Yeah. So I would have asked this question to either Mom Mario or Sham, but you guys won't have as good of a big big deal as Ross does. So Ross and this question is to you. What is your grooming for your beard? Like what do you do with the beard? How do you get it all? Supreme and proper beard routine. Yep. I don't have a beard routine to be honest with you. I trim it. I don't trim it nearly as much as I should. I should be doing it once a week, but the summer happened and then I just I don't really I don't really care. I am down to zero products.

33I don't use any I don't use any products. I don't use any creams. I don't use any oils. I don't shampoo it. I don't condition it. I don't do I'm down to zero. I tried oils like years ago and it's just a pain in the ass and and I never I never liked the feel of it. I will sometimes because I curl the sides of my mustache. Yeah. Right. So what I will sometimes do is one of two things is if I put hair product in whatever's left on my fingers, I'll just stick right in the corner of my mustache and give it a couple of twirls. Oh, right. Give that nice shape. Or sometimes the other thing that works really well is that sometimes if I brush my teeth and then I have and then I get some toothpaste in my mustache, I'll just rub that right into really. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I'll just rub that right into. Wait, Andrew, are you asking out of curiosity or do you have a beard and you're looking for like a routine, right? It's disgusting. Yeah. I have a long, long beard and I've tried every routine like I like roll the beard is always straight. Like give me 30 minutes. My beard is straight enough of that.

34It just goes here. I've tried always bombs, brushing, street, knee. It doesn't go like that. Like I have a long beard as well. Yeah. So like your beard is always put on point on this. Never a little hair sticking out. Is this people's beard? That's why I want to ask. I do blow dry it. Oh, yeah, I do. I do blow dry. Yeah, I blow dry my beard and brush my beard. And you brush it at the same time. Yeah. Yeah. And actually the way that I do it is I go opposite. So if like if you put your hand on your right cheek, right? I don't blow dry it back towards my ear and the back of my head. I blow dry and brush everything forward. So my beard is covering my face. Oh. And then what? And then I do the other side and then I brush it back. Otherwise the beard slopes too far back at your chin. Yeah. Right? And it looks weird. So I blow dry everything forward and then I brush it back at the end. Oh, there you go. Maybe try that.

35And really? Trist. I know for some guys when they try to grow a long beard, you get like a wave, right? In the hair. You get like a beard wave. And it's tough to straighten it out. Because no matter what you do or what product you use to straighten the beard, it will always it'll always go back to that wave. I had beard. I had beard waves. Did you? Until I grew it out this length. Oh, it's straightened out on some. That was the that was the key was growing it out even longer. And then and then also I don't trim underneath at all. Right? I used to I used to manage here like by my neck and stuff like that, but I can't even see that now. Oh, yeah. My beard might be so long, right? So no, I don't I don't I don't touch that at all. Oh, there you go. Andrew some tips for you, bro. Good tips actually. Good tips. I'm pretty. Yeah. I try. I'm also then. If not, I call him back again then. Right. You're the best, Andrew. Thanks for listening. I'm going to be on the show today between Rosamokha. Who is your favorite? Yeah. Hands down, pants down, roses, roses. There's the questions.

35There's no questions. I want to sort of my guy have a wonderful day. You do. All right. And we will end on this question from Wayne. What's the weirdest thing that would make you immediately leave a party? Oh, I think if someone walked around with a dish and said, I, you know, put your keys in. You know what's about to happen. I'd be like, you know, I'm out. You don't know what that is. Do you, Chloe? Like a key party? Do you know what a key party is? No. What do you think a key party is? If like, don't drunk drive. So if you're at a party and there's a bull at the front of the, like right by the, the front door. Yeah. And when everybody comes in, they drop their, their keys into that bull. What do you think that that means? I would hope that it means no one's driving because we're getting so smashed. She's not wrong. Yeah. Yeah. Well, no. Yeah. No, you're 100% wrong. You're 100% wrong. A key party. Google, what, Google, what is a 70s key party?

38What is a 70s key party? Yeah. And then we don't, loud. And then we don't, loud. Yeah. What it says. And 1970s key party is a legendary social gathering where couples supposedly place their car or house keys into a central bull after which participants traditionally the woman randomly picked a set of keys to determine, oh, a partner swap for a sexual encounter. Okay. Not what I thought. No, definitely not. So yeah, that would make me leave. But yeah, but yeah, somebody is driving. Somebody's getting driven. Well, it has an answer. What would make you be?
