About Meg & The Daily Pep!
Iβm Meg and Iβm the host of The Daily Pep! and The Couragemakers Podcast and founder of The Rebel Rousers. Iβm a coach, writer and all-round rebel-rouser for creative and multi-passionate women to do the things only they can do and build a wholehearted life. When I'm not recording episodes, writing bullshit-free Letters of Rebellion to my wonderful Couragemakers community or hosting workshops/group programmes, I'm usually covered in paint or walking my wonderfully weird cockapoo Merlin.

Hello Meg here, so here on the daily pep I am always banging on about how Ress is productive. I know for me reading refills my cup like nothing else, it's pure escapism, it feeds my curious brain and also gets me to take some time out which for me is a tall order. That's why I'm so excited to share with you today's sponsor, the Willoughby Book Club. They're a women-owned women-run fully independent bespoke book subscription service. Based on what you tell them about your reading taste and preferences, their book fairies get to work in handpicking your next read, ready to arrive at your door as a beautifully eco-wrapped permission slip to take time just for you with a good book. So if you fancy doing something lovely for yourself and support in a fabulous independent business while you do it head on over to the Willoughby Book Club.co.uk, even just browsing the site is a true treat and remember to use the code daily pep to get 10% off.
The link is in the show notes and now on to today's daily pep. Good morning daily peppers and a very happy Tuesday. Now today I have a bit of a challenge for you, I don't know about you but there tend to be little things that I put off which I know wouldn't actually take that long but either I build itself up into this bigger thing than it actually is in my head or I just plain forget about it. I think we can all relate to having that one thing that when we get around to it we're like oh it really didn't take that long and that is my challenge for you today. I want you to find that thing which you know realistically is probably going to take you five minutes or less and just go and do the thing. The thing is not only is it going to feel good to get done,
it is going to be one less thing on your mind and I don't know about you but I know that my mind could definitely do with a declutter. So go do the thing, if you can't do it right now definitely schedule it in for later and make sure you do something to celebrate doing the thing as well and maybe the celebration is just the fact that you've got it done and you don't have to fake in think about it anymore. So go do the thing, know that five minutes is a pretty decent amount of time. For example I gave myself five minutes to record this episode knowing that my online delivery truck has just poured up outside. I gave myself a bit of a challenge, I did the challenge and it felt pretty fucking good. So I extend it out to you. Set a timer, five minutes no more than that. Do the thing, give yourself a boost and really reclaim some space in your mind. Go for it and I'll see you tomorrow.
you
