If you were going to leave your loved ones forever, what would you want your final words to be? This is the scenario we get in Matthew 28 when Jesus is ascending into heaven and giving final instructions to his disciples. He tells them to go into all the world and make disciples...
But what is a disciple? That is not a word we use in today's language and we are worlds away from the time that Jesus spoke those words. So how do we make sense of them?
