地方民が「東京に車で行く」という、今思えばなかなか無謀な挑戦をした結果、盛大にやらかした失敗談とボヤキをお届けします。
早朝の仕事のため、電車では間に合わず、仕方なく車で東京へ。しかし出発早々、ETCカードを忘れていたことに気づくという致命的ミス。現金があるから大丈夫だろうと進んだものの、首都高の料金、想像以上に高い。さらに追い打ちをかけるのが、施設駐車場の4時間で4000円という現実。
帰りにはガソリンスタンドが見つからず都内を右往左往。ETC専用入口だらけで首都高にも乗れず、結果的に探し回るだけで2時間、30キロ以上を無駄走行する羽目に。
この一日で痛感したのは、「東京で車移動は贅沢」という事実。
