#135 - Best Classic SNL Cast Member with Dave Thomas

About this episode

On October 11, 1975 television sketch comedy experienced a seismic shift as NBC's Saturday Night made its premiere. Over the course of it's first five seasons, characters were created and stars were made, kicking off a cycle that continues over 40 years later. Looking back at that original five years, which of the comedy legends in that cast was the best?

While Mark and Hal are huge SNL nerds, it made sense to get someone with inside information. Enter Dave Thomas, a comedy legend in his own right, who was often there visiting his friends and would later work with Lorne Michaels himself. I'm going to stop writing this now because you just need to listen.
