133: A Few Good Men and Women

Have you ever considered the downsides of peace and prosperity? Believe it or not, a life of comfort in which our needs are met and our wants are satisfied can be problematic. We saw this last summer when we went through the Book of Judges. Over and over the Israelites lost their way when life was going well. They became complacent and stopped relying on God. They had too much of a good thing. Maybe you can relate...or maybe you're going through some major struggles.

Either way, worship is where you need to be. Whether it's to praise God for what's going right, or find comfort for what isn't, there's a reason for you to be in His presence. Listen as Pastor Chuck Schlie talks about Chapter 8 in “The Story”.
