Sometimes when you don't have the right equipment or not happy with the options to buy then you just have to get creative and make your own. Joe Finney of River Roan Kennels decided to take pointer backing dummies to the next level. Joe was fedup with typical backing dummies and plywood cutouts so he developed the most realistic looking backing dummy that is made to real breed specific sizes and weighs next to nothing. I enjoy examples such as this because not everyone has the same equipment. Maybe you just have to start making your own and then maybe it eventually turns into a little side hustle as well!
