福島県いわき市のいわき市立美術館で昨日から開催された「日本の巨大ロボット群像 ―巨大ロボットアニメ、そのデザインと映像表現―」展に行ってきました。当時ロボットアニメを観ていた者としては、とても懐かしく、そしてリアルに近づけようとするデザインの変遷が刺激的で良い展示会でした。展示会の監修の山口洋三さんと、アニメーション研究家の五十嵐浩司さんによる2時間の対談も刺激的で面白かったです。8月24日まで開催ですので、興味ある方はぜひ行きましょう。
