About this episode
For those that are burned out, morally injured, or otherwise overwhelmed - the answer seems to be to leave medicine, go part-time, and create non-clinical income streams.
Why? Because we think those changes will make us happy. Or content. Or satisfied. Or fulfilled.
BUT… If we don't figure out why we are unhappy FIRST, and we change our circumstances, then we have a VERY HIGH chance of being unhappy after we make the change.
