#118: Why You Should Sit Down To Eat

About this episode

Your mama probably told you a thousand times in your life and those exact words come out of my mouth no less than a hundred times every dinner at our home.

I don't know if it's human nature to just keep moving, all day every day but my girls can't sit down to eat. They may start out on their chair but slowly they begin squatting, then one leg on the chair one leg off, sometimes they're under the table others on the table and occasionally running around the table.

It's nonstop. But what I hope to teach them, once the wiggly early elementary years pass is there is a true health benefit to sitting down to eat and you'll better digest, absorb and utilize your food, plus it's good on your gut microbiome.

I mean double bonus right?

Make sure you listen to today's podcast to learn in less than 10 minutes why you should sit down to eat. It matters I promise you'll see changes in how you digest food, in how much you consume and how satisfied you are when you sit at the table with good company, or no company and really just focus on the goodness going in your belly.
